Bright Horizons Kirkby Day Nursery and Preschool

It’s an incredible childcare centre and all the team are lovely. My little boy has come on so much since he’s been there and loves going. It’s a excellent setting and they’re consistently doing different activities daily with the kids. Consistently kept up to date about things which is great. Great variety of healthy food for the kids too. And it’s open long hours and all year round which is great if you work long hours etc. I couldn’t fault the childcare centre at all. Perfect in every way! If you’re looking for a childcare centre for your little one definitely consider here! My son has been at Kirkby Day Childcare centre for nearly a year now since he was 11 months old.

My daughter has a dairy allergy and they ensure daily that she has separate meals and she is cheerful. She has recently moved up to toddler group which I was nervous about but her new keyworker is incredible also she sends loads of pictures home of her day playing. Can’t thank you you all enough for looking after my daughter so well. Words cannot express how cheerful and grateful I am to my daughter’s key workers and everyone else who looks after my little girl.

The team are incredible and not only assistance the parents making the transition into childcare but also so supportive to the kids they consistently make you sense your kid is highly important to them. My son has loved his time at the childcare centre and I would highly suggest it to any parents looking for a childcare centre for their kids.

He loves going and playing, and we adore to hear all about his day. The girls in his room can’t do enough for him and are consistently ready to listen to him, playtime with him or help him if needed. When coming back after lockdown, we were a little worried how he would be after so long off, but the girls were incredible and put our minds at ease and our son settled back in like he had never been away. We wouldn’t put him anywhere else. Our son has been in this childcare centre for a year and a half now and has come on so much.

I first contacted them last year and attended for a walk around with the childcare centre manager. I was impressed by the journey and commitment of the team, and the cleanliness and organisation of the childcare centre itself. I was pleased to enrol my son to start in October and felt truly well supported by the settling in sessions. Team are welcoming and supportive, and create an atmosphere that is cheerful for the kids and reassuring for parents. Having been here for almost 5 months I have been so relieved at how well my son settled in. He is clearly cheerful here, enjoys his day, eats well and remarkably he actually does nap! I consistently receive an update at pick up as to how the day has gone and follow along via the app whilst I’m at work. I have no hesitation in recommending this outstanding childcare centre to other parents. I am truly delighted to suggest this childcare centre.

My little girl was so clingy before going to childcare centre and struggled with the first few weeks but the girls truly helped put my mind at ease and helped her settle and sense comfortable. She now strolls in, without a care and tells me everything about her enjoyable-filled day. I can not suggest this childcare centre enough.

The team are remarkable with him, they communicate well with myself and I find the childcare centre app truly beneficial, as it gives me all the information I need about his day. My older son who is now 8 years old attended the childcare centre when he was younger and I didn’t hesitate to go back, the standards have been consistently high. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My 19-month-old son has attended Kirkby Day since he was 12 months old and I’ve been delighted so far with the care he has received throughout this time.

No words can describe the level of care offered by the team and the relationship and trust they have built with both my husband and I, and most importantly our daughter. She has been in childcare centre for 3 and a half months which was a difficult decision at the time and made so much more manageable due to this childcare centre. She is so excited every day about attending and speaks about activities she has been part of every day. I can’t suggest this childcare centre enough and I’m just thankful I found it and hope when she leaves we can find a school offering the same standard of care. I adore that they are passionate about my daughters education and encourage discovering and development on a daily basis she has progressed so well I’m so proud of her and so thankful to the team. This childcare centre is just outstanding!

My little girl is almost three and looks forwards to her days at childcare centre each week. She loves the team, has formed highly great friendships with the kids, thoroughly enjoys the range of activities each week (especially all of the incredible activities they do in toddler room linked to stories and themes) and goes in and comes home each day smiling. My little boy is almost one and only joined the childcare centre after Christmas. I was particularly worried about him settling because of the lockdown situation and lack of socialising since birth but he has settled highly quickly and also goes in happily and has quickly formed strong bonds with the team in the baby room. I am so highly grateful for all that each of the team at the childcare centre do for my kids to ensure they are well cared for and cheerful. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the management team also do a remarkable job. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone with young kids. Both of my kids absolutely adore coming to childcare centre.

My son has special needs and the attention and care given to him is incredible. He leaves this year and I just hope the school he is going to is as great as this childcare centre. Thanks. Exceptional team, my son loves it there.
