My firstborn attended from when he was 8 months old until he went to primary school, he is now 8, it was one of the best nursery’s then and still is now my 3 year old attends. I would highly recommend the brilliant staff and setting in nursery.

Every member of staff is attentive, caring, and honest; they are constantly displayIng role model behaviour.
My first son is almost 3 and has been in the nursery since he was 1, my second son is almost 1 and has been in the nursery a few months. I would not want them to be in any other nursery. They both love going to ‘school’ (Nursery) and are thriving because of the development focus/fun and caring environment they experience here. I will be forever thankful to all the team and manager for looking after my boys whilst I work.

My little girl was so clingy before going to nursery and struggled with the first few weeks but the girls really helped put my mind at ease and helped her settle and feel comfortable. She now strolls in, without a care and tells me everything about her fun-filled day.

December 14, 2020 at 12:00 amOur son has been in this nursery for a year and a half now and has come on so much. He loves going and playing, and we love to hear all about his day. The girls in his room can’t do enough for him and are always ready to listen to him, play with him or help him if needed. When coming back after lockdown, we were a little worried how he would be after so long off, but the girls were amazing and put our minds at ease and our son settled back in like he had never been away. We wouldn’t put him anywhere else.

January 6, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son attends Bright Horizons Kirkby Day Nursery 3 days a week he really enjoys going to nursery, it has helped his development massively. When entering the nursery you feel warm and welcome by all staff. I would like to thank all the staff at Kirkby Day Nursery for everything they have done, my child is so settled now and enjoys going, I couldn’t imagine him anywhere else.

February 19, 2021 at 12:00 amBoth of my children absolutely love coming to nursery. My little girl is almost three and looks forwards to her days at nursery each week. She loves the staff, has formed very good friendships with the children, thoroughly enjoys the range of activities each week (especially all of the amazing activities they do in toddler room linked to stories and themes) and goes in and comes home each day smiling. My little boy is almost one and only joined the nursery after Christmas. I was particularly worried about him settling because of the lockdown situation and lack of socialising since birth but he has settled very quickly and also goes in happily and has quickly formed strong bonds with the staff in the baby room. I am so very grateful for all that each of the staff at the nursery do for my children to ensure they are well cared for and happy. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the management team also do a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with young children.

February 19, 2021 at 12:00 amWords cannot express how happy and grateful I am to my daughter’s key workers and everyone else who looks after my little girl. My daughter has a dairy allergy and they ensure daily that she has separate meals and she is happy. She has recently moved up to toddler group which I was nervous about but her new keyworker is amazing also she sends loads of pictures home of her day playing. Can’t thank you you all enough for looking after my daughter so well.

February 19, 2021 at 12:00 amI have never actually seen my child interact with other children (only child and lockdown pretty much since I moved to Liverpool). I recently saw her enter into a room of adults and children she had never seen and strike up a conversation with the adults and started playing with the other children pretty much immediately. I genuinely was quite shocked as to when and how she became this confident. I know that the environment that exists at Bright Horizons Kirkby is the kind of environment that promotes growth and development in children. My child was always very happy there. The staff are lovely and I made friends there. There was always happiness all around and the children seemed really happy and engaged. I would recommend this nursery very highly for anyone looking for the best care for their child.

The staff are amazing and not only support the parents making the transition into childcare but also so supportive to the children they always make you feel your child is very important to them.

My little girl has amazing friendships with the children and she has made such strong bonds with all the staff members. Every single member of staff go above and beyond for her and they still always ask after my son who left nursery two years ago. I just wish she didn’t have to leave.

May 17, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been at Kirkby Day Nursery for nearly a year now since he was 11 months old. It’s an amazing nursery and all the staff are lovely. My little boy has come on so much since he’s been there and loves going. It’s a great setting and they’re always doing different activities daily with the children. Always kept up to date about things which is good. Good variety of healthy food for the children too. And it’s open long hours and all year round which is good if you work long hours etc. I couldn’t fault the nursery at all. Perfect in every way! If you’re looking for a nursery for your little one definitely consider here!

No words can describe the level of care offered by the staff and the relationship and trust they have built with both my husband and I, and most importantly our daughter. She has been in nursery for 3 and a half months which was a difficult decision at the time and made so much more manageable due to this nursery. She is so excited every day about attending and speaks about activities she has been part of every day. I can’t recommend this nursery enough and I’m just thankful I found it and hope when she leaves we can find a school offering the same standard of care. I love that they are passionate about my daughters education and encourage learning and development on a daily basis she has progressed so well I’m so proud of her and so thankful to the staff.

December 21, 2022 at 12:00 amI have been attending this nursery over the past five years with my children and would highly recommend it. The rooms are kept clean and fully equipped for all the appropriate ages. All the staff have been amazing, especially through the pandemic and care for the children as their own. My children’s social skills have improved and they thoroughly enjoy all the activity-based learning, that is provided. Communication from the nursery has always been good and has improved with the introduction of the app.

January 20, 2023 at 12:00 amMy 19-month-old son has attended Kirkby Day since he was 12 months old and I’ve been delighted so far with the care he has received throughout this time. The staff are fantastic with him, they communicate well with myself and I find the nursery app really beneficial, as it gives me all the information I need about his day. My older son who is now 8 years old attended the nursery when he was younger and I didn’t hesitate to go back, the standards have been consistently high. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I help my sister with pick up and drop off and the staff are really friendly and approachable. My nephew loves nursery, he is always happy to go in and never wants to go home! I would recommend this nursery to anyone wanting a loving and caring environment.

March 11, 2023 at 12:00 amI am really delighted to recommend this nursery. I first contacted them last year and attended for a walk around with the nursery manager. I was impressed by the experience and commitment of the staff, and the cleanliness and organisation of the nursery itself. I was pleased to enrol my son to start in October and felt really well supported by the settling in sessions. Staff are friendly and helpful, and create an atmosphere that is happy for the children and reassuring for parents. Having been here for almost 5 months I have been so relieved at how well my son settled in. He is clearly happy here, enjoys his day, eats well and remarkably he actually does nap! I always receive an update at pick up as to how the day has gone and follow along via the app whilst I’m at work. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent nursery to other parents.
