Kids Planet Ansdell

My son loves the nursery, he runs off so excited and always has tales of his adventures whilst at nursery. He is well looked after, the staff are fabulous, professional but still caring and super friendly – genuinely seem to adore the children and want the best for them. I’ll be sad when he leaves in July. Highly recommended.

My son has always been quite funny about nurseries, he has never really settled anywhere until now! He will come home and talk about the day he has had and all the activities he has done and the friends he has played with, which is so heart warming to hear, especially as a parent. Of course we have up and down days and on the days when he is a little sad, the nursery staff always ensure to comfort him and make him feel welcome. My son never stops taking about the staff and children there. It is nice knowing that my child is going somewhere where he is generally cared for.
Staff are very supportive of the child’s development. I can see a huge change in my son’s behaviour and independence as well as other skills and its great to see!
The nursery rooms are beautiful, the outdoor area looks like so much fun and the days out look awesome.
I couldn’t be happier with where my son goes to nursery. Definitely the best nursery by far!

We asked our daughter what she thought about nursery and she says she ‘loves it’.
We asked why?
She said because she gets to play, she gets to go outside, she gets dinner, she gets to play, have tea and go outside.
When we looked for a nursery we wanted her to have fun and be outside as much as possible, so thank you for filling our brief.
I know she has learnt a lot too and it would seem she’s had fun doing out.
The staff are kind, nurturing, caring and always interacting with the children.

The staff are a wonderful team, and my son has always felt safe and secure going to nursery. We love the nature aspect of Kids Planet, and often hear about the various topics covered as part of the learning journey.
Feedback and comments are welcomed by the nursery manager, who works hard to accommodate requests and answer questions. The garden could be bigger, but the resources available are great for the space. The nursery sits next door to our local park and playing field, so this space is also used regularly.

Wonderful nursery with great staff and great environments for our child to learn and play! Really nice outdoor spaces and equipment in the garden as well as a park next door. Friendly and helpful staff too.

My little girl started in April this year and is flourishing, coming home singing songs and telling me facts about different things. The staff handle her brilliantly and she’s come on so far already. The welcoming and educational setting is just made to support children’s individuality. The teachers as she calls them all have their own unique bond and understanding with her, she trusts them.

My daughter has attended this nursery since July 2021 when she was only 9 months. It was hard when she first started as covid restrictions were still in place but we were able to look around the nursery after hours and felt at home instantly, then when she started we had to hand her over at the door and the staff were always ready to greet her with a smile and a warm hug. She has come on so much over the past few years since attending and has even started talking about her day at nursery once home. She loves the activities they do and playing with the other children. We as parents love it when we get a moment for the day to see her happy and having fun as well as learning. It’s such a lovely nursery and I’m so glad we chose it for our daughter.

For the past 2 years, my daughter has been in Ansdell nature nursing and I have to say it is one of the best nurseries I have ever seen. My child comes home happy all the time tells me brilliant stories about what happened that day, and then tells me all that she has done with her teachers. All have been absolutely amazing with her and given them so many activities to do to build them up for school. I couldn’t have wished for better nursery teachers for my daughter, they have been amazing and I would highly recommend Ansdell Nursery to everyone. My daughter will surely miss her nursery when it’s time for school.
