Pebbles Day Nursery

I cannot speak highly enough of the childcare centre and the incredible team of carers. They absolutely adore their time there and the team who care for them. The team of team work really well together. It is a inviting, vibrant, secure and loving setting and the team seem to really delight in their jobs; they’re consistently bright and welcoming, cheery and supportive and pleased to see and greet the kids (and us!) It is consistently evident how much the kids do and learn every day and there is consistently something new happening; outside activities and walks, mud kitchens, search for bugs, sports days, crafts, messy playtime, stretch and grow classes, reading, letters, numbers, cultural days and world holidays, and all kinds of creative ways to learn about the real world; even an incredible musical nativity playtime at Xmas. The menu is incredible and made from scratch on site. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a inviting and fantastic childcare centre – would highly suggest to anyone. We have a kid in the baby room and a kid in the toddler room at Pebbles.

My son has been attending for two years and they have been incredibly supportive and instrumental in helping to develop his speech, behaviour and self‑assurance to enable him to be ready to start school in September. The team are open, welcoming and a excellent team loved by kids and parents alike. Nothing is too much trouble and updates on kids’s development and achievement are shared on a daily basis keeping parents completely involved. The kids are consistently engaged in activities whether indoors, on the covered decking, in the garden or exploring the fields and woods of the college campus and team are consistently looking for new and improved activities to involve and inspire the kids. I would not hesitate in recommending this childcare centre. I cannot praise the childcare centre and it’s team highly enough.

The team have been exceptional with her and it’s reassuring knowing that when I leave her she is cheerful and well looked after. If there are any problems or changes the team are consistently willing to try any changes I suggest.
She is given a big variety of things to do each time she is there, many of which I haven’t braved doing at home with her yet! When I pick her up, she is consistently busy playing happily. She enjoys the food that’s she’s given and eats well. I’m very pleased that I made the decision to send her to this childcare centre. I sent my daughter here for the first time at 10 months old.

My daughter has been going to Pebbles since summer 2014 and she loves it! The team changes which took place approx 1 year ago have significantly improved the childcare centre and I think the Ofsted report reflects the hard work and dedication of the team. All team members are fully engaged and you can genuinely tell they have real affection for the kids that attend – my daughter certainly has a soft spot for her key worker. They provide a enjoyable and secure setting for my daughter and provide healthy and nutritious meals, courtesy of their incredible cook with the odd treat when its someones birthday.
I also like that the team consistently keep me up to date with my daughters development whether that’s when I go to collect her or through Tapestry. Nothing is too much trouble even if I’m asking the same questions. I sense involved in my daughters attendance and what is going on whether its an up and coming event such as Sports Day or a quick catch up. I adore knowing that my kid is cheerful for the time she is at Pebbles and genuinely sense that she will miss it terribly come September 2016 but I also sense that her readiness to start ‘big school’ is mostly down to the incredible team. I genuinely cannot praise the girls there enough. When we were having a few toddler hiccups, my daughters key worker took the time to sit down and discuss some things we could try both at childcare centre and at home. The improvement although wasn’t an overnight fix, the longer term outcome has been extremely positive. If anyone is looking for childcare, I would strongly and highly suggest you make an appointment with the team at Pebbles, you won’t regret it and I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for my kid for the past 18 months or so. I cannot fault Pebbles in any way shape or form.

Within 4 months he was his speech had come on as well as his ability to playtime with other kids. He quickly decided that he no longer wanted to be in nappies and practically nappy trained himself with the help of ourselves and the lovely team who encouraged him. He came on in leaps and bounds. After 2 1/2 years, it was time to go to school and he was upset that he was leaving. However, it was without any hesitation that we took our second little boy who is almost 3 to pebbles. He’s only been there 3 weeks but he loves it. His behaviour has calmed down and his eating habits have improved dramatically. The team are all lovely and the Manager is a diamond. You are kept up to date with newsletters so you are consistently aware of what’s on. So glad we chose Pebbles and I would highly suggest any of my friends to take their little ones there. In 2013 we took our little boy to pebbles for a trial and he loved it straight away.

Our son and daughter attend Pebbles 4 days a week whilst my partner and I work full time. I would urge parents to take advantage of all the settle in sessions, particularly as a dad. The team show empathy and a genuine care and enjoyment every day which gives me self‑assurance and I especially delight in arriving and not pushing the bell, but rather watching my kids, often playing outside, interacting with their peers and team in a highly developmental setting in which the needs of the individual kid are met whilst facilitating and mirroring the compassionate of behaviour, ethics and values which will carry us forward as a community. The team are led by a highly positive and forward moving individual. They work together to ensure the continuity of care and assistance for each kid is provided and I would urge you to visit Pebbles to see for yourself. Consistency, compassion and updates are the values I appreciate from the team at Pebbles day childcare centre.

Since starting childcare centre, my baby’s development has progressed an incredible amount, due to the hard work and attentiveness off the baby room team. Hands down, the best thing about the childcare centre is the personal approach, and just how much the team genuinely care for the kids. A fabulous range of activities are facilitated, the menu is very impressive, updates between team and parents is outstanding, kid development is a priority to the team, and the management is fantastic. My baby is cheerful and cared for, which makes me one cheerful Mom. As a new mom, I was very anxious about my baby starting childcare centre when I went back to work, but the team and management at Pebbles Day Childcare centre could not have done more to make the process not only an easy one, but a cheerful one.
