September 10, 2024 at 2:48 amAs a first-time Mum, I was so worried about leaving my daughter with strangers, but four months on, she is loving it, and I think she would rather be at childcare centre than at home!
She does lots of arts and crafts, has lots of time to playtime and explore her surroundings, and she loves meal times too.
Thank you, Stonehouse; keep up the great work. Stonehouse is a fabulous childcare centre.
My little girl is in the baby room, and she absolutely loves her time there, to the point where she squeals with excitement when we’re dropping her off.
Two particular members of team are absolutely incredible.

Incredible childcare centre and excellent team, all very welcoming and supportive and everything you need is included in the fee, so you don’t need to remember to bring anything!

She works extremely hard in the baby room and has formed a excellent bond with my baby daughter, who started here at just 10 months old. They all work tirelessly to ensure the kids are cheerful and well cared for. Stonehouse is an incredible, nurturing setting for all kids.

The kids were all actively engaged with the team, and smiles were visible on every face. The assistance provided by the team to my partner and me as first-time parents helped ease our concerns even further. Since starting, our daughter’s development has progressed in leaps and bounds; best of all, she is excited to go and is cheerful at handover time. Couldn’t have asked for a better childcare centre! Thank you! After our first visit, we knew this was the place for us.

November 29, 2024 at 8:25 amShe is consistently cheerful here, and the team constantly keep her stimulated with different activities and adapts them to her needs/areas of development. Particularly for preschool, they help with discovering/getting them ready for the transition to school, and I sense confident my kid is going to be more than ready for later this year for school. The team are welcoming, welcoming and consistently willing to sit down and listen to you if there are any concerns or you want to chat about anything – they have a lovely parent room adapted for this. The space at this childcare centre is second to none, and unlike any other nurseries we have seen, giving the kids so much more freedom with activities/toys. The only thing I would like to see more of is more encouragement for home discovering/reading; there used to be a scheme where kids could choose a book to take home; however, this seems to have gone. Our daughter has been attending this childcare centre for nearly two years, and it was the best decision we ever made for her.

December 28, 2024 at 4:13 pmShe’d been at another childcare centre for 18 months before that, and we were worried she wouldn’t settle, but we really needn’t have worried at all. From the first phone call I had with the assistant manager to enquire about availability, I knew we’d found the right childcare centre. The owner is very clearly passionate about what she does and takes excellent care to ensure the childcare centre setting reflects that. The team are incredible, consistently so welcoming, passionate, compassionate and attentive. We take our daughter to Stonehouse every weekday, knowing she is well looked after and, most importantly, in secure hands. We value the updates with the team as well; they’re cheerful to work with us on our daughter’s development and consistently so approachable, even the team that don’t work directly with our daughter smile and speak with us when they see us; it’s such a inviting setting! If you’re looking for a childcare centre in the Leyland area, this is the one! My daughter started at Stonehouse in Nov 2022 after we moved to the area.

The range of food and activities is remarkable. I would suggest it to anyone. My daughter has been going to Stonehouse since her old childcare centre shut abruptly in 2022.

We’re also very impressed with the quality and variety of the meals he gets! We’re very cheerful with the choice of childcare centre for our son and would highly suggest it. My son has been attending Stonehouse since May, and my husband and I have been so impressed with everything.

April 5, 2025 at 3:04 amHaving everything included in the price makes it easier as well as your not having to remember everything in the morning or forgetting to re fill the bag with Nappies! Stonehouse is a huge childcare centre with lots of space for all the kids indoors and out and the team consistently give detailed handovers at the end of the day and make sure they pass over everything.

My little boy has learned so much from everyone at Stonehouse and made some lovely friends. I highly suggest this childcare centre. My son has attended Stonehouse childcare centre since he was 1 year old, and now at the age of 4, he is about to move on to school.

June 21, 2025 at 9:32 pmMy son loves it there. They do a variety of activities every day, develop their skills and lead kids to independence. My son is bringing home great manners and is rapidly developing his vocabulary, and I can see he behaves with respect to other kids when we are on playgrounds thanks to the childcare centre. Team engage closely with parents and do their best to meet parents’ requests. The childcare centre has several playrooms for each age group and a large outdoor playtime area, which is used frequently. Remarkable childcare centre.

They have a remarkable team, and everyone who has worked with my son has been incredible! Nothing is ever too much hassle for them! Thank you so much, Stonehouse! All the team have been beyond incredible – they are highly trained and incredible with the kids. No request has ever felt too much.
The childcare centre has remarkable resources, and the interests of the kids are of paramount importance. Please do take a visit; you will not be disappointed! I would highly suggest Stonehouse Childcare centre to all of my friends and family, and strangers too!
