November 12, 2024 at 4:29 pmThe childcare centre has a real family sense to it and my kids developed lovely bonds with their key workers and other team.
Food options were outstanding as were the daily activities and little outings. Playdor Childcare centre School is a excellent childcare centre, both of my kids attended and they were so well looked after and genuinely enjoyed going there.

January 8, 2025 at 11:30 amAll the ladies are so great with her and are consistently doing different things to help her develop. My son also went to Playdor and each room were so great with him. They have the kids’s needs as the absolute focus of everything. We get regular childcare centre-based updates and have a chance to be involved if they ask for the kids to be dressed up or taking books or toys in. The chance to do payable extra activities like swimming, sports and drama is really great too. My daughter is in the baby room and is really enjoying it.

February 5, 2025 at 9:52 pmThere are small numbers of kids so it’s not too overwhelming. They encourage a lot of discovering via playtime and focused on kids being kids. From day one my little one was cheerful to go to team and wanted to join in. The team have really got to know my little one and they give hugs and encouragement where needed, also one-to-one with a key worker who they really build a bond with. I’m very cheerful and would suggest a visit. Playdor is home at childcare centre with home-cooked healthy meals and lovely team who are consistently cheerful, inviting and welcoming, they’re consistently cheerful to listen and assistance with any concerns.

February 20, 2025 at 11:59 pmWhen she joined, one member of team, in particular, was incredible with her and would soon settle her and get a smile out of her within seconds of me leaving. Her self‑assurance started to grow and when she moved up to preschool her self‑assurance continued. Whoever opens the door, she now goes in cheerful and waving like a totally different kid! I cannot thank all the girls so much for bringing my kid out of her shell!
She comes home every day full of stories of what she has been up to, especially team painting her feet to make Christmas cards and all the drawings and paintings she requests to do daily isn’t a problem!
We now have the issue she gets in the car and doesn’t want to come home childcare centre is that much enjoyable!
They care and look after the kids like their own! Couldn’t pick a better childcare centre. When my daughter started at 2 and she was extremely shy and clingy and I was nervous to start her at childcare centre.

March 20, 2025 at 4:51 amMy little boy has attended since he was 9 months old and he is now 2 and a half years old. The team are so attentive and loving towards the kids. The ideas and thought that go into the activities which are set up are incredible. All team follow the kids’s interests and there are clear links made from home. I adore getting daily updates on the parent app and the team respond to my updates from home too. My little boy loves going to Playdor! A big thank you to the team from the toddler room – you guys are incredible EYFS practitioners! I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough.

April 1, 2025 at 5:57 amMy little boy started in the baby room and will soon be ready to go into the preschool room. We adore every single one of the team members. They all treat and look after my baby like their own. When he started in the baby room, he got referred and put onto the ASD pathway and I can honestly say I don’t know what I’d do without all of their advice and answering all my questions. He has now been diagnosed with autism and I am kept very up to date with everything that’s happening, with his discovering plan and advice on what I can introduce at home to help. Sense very at ease when he’s on his inhalers at childcare centre as I know he’s in the best place! He has come on so much since starting at Playdor Chorley. I get so many updates with what he’s up to during the day which I adore! They set up so many specific activities to help my little boy get involved and he loves the food!
I would suggest Playdor Chorley to everybody! We adore you! Can not suggest this childcare centre enough.

April 7, 2025 at 9:16 amEvery member of team is compassionate, attentive, nurturing and attentive. My daughter’s key worker knows her so well and draws on her skills to help her sense confident to learn. My son’s key work spent time getting to know us as a family prior to him starting and provides him with the space to grow.
The childcare centre cook is also incredible catering to my son’s additional needs making sure he still has a varied diet and helping him sense included.
Both kids are thriving due to the childcare centre and it’s so reassuring they are in secure hands while we both have to work. The childcare centre’s indoor and outdoor spaces cater for small imaginations. We adore this childcare centre and every member of team who work with our family. We can not say enough about this childcare centre, both my kids attend and have a blast.

From baby, to toddler room and now pre-school – my daughter has come on so much with her self‑assurance and vocabulary and she has the most incredible imagination. I am so grateful to all of the team here. I am also really looking forward to my other daughter starting in September.
If you want to have peace of mind that your kids are going to be really well looked after and are going to learn whilst having so much enjoyable, I could not suggest Playdor more. All the team are remarkable. My daughter absolutely loves going to Playdor, I found when I went to look around initially, this place stood out to me as it had the most family-type sense which is exactly what I wanted.

April 28, 2025 at 12:30 pmI was so very anxious and worried about my son starting there in September 2021 but the team made me sense calm and explained everything to me and looked after my little boy like he was their own kid. They taught my son remarkable things and made discovering enjoyable for him. He absolutely loved going there. They’re very attentive to your kid’s needs and to my needs as a parent too. Many a time I’ve been worried about something and they would listen and chat to me like I was a friend. They made me and my son sense very secure and welcome. Would highly suggest this childcare centre to just about every single person I know! Just an incredible little family setting that is just remarkable. I didn’t want my son to leave to go to school. I wanted him to keep going. Very great there and just so thankful for all they have done for me and my son. Absolutely incredible team here at Playdor Childcare centre School Chorley.

My eldest daughter also went to Playdor some thirteen years ago! I would highly suggest for babies, toddlers and preschool kids and wouldn’t have wanted to send my girls anywhere else. My daughter had been at Playdor Childcare centre for almost the last two years.

June 4, 2025 at 3:58 amThe team are all positive influences to all the kids and are so attentive to their needs, the kids are so cheerful to be there my granddaughter runs into childcare centre and is consistently spotless and tidy when I pick her up. The team are helping with speech and potty training. Even though I’m the grandma the team treat me as a parent when I drop her off and pick her up, the team ensure they have great relationships with parents/grandparents as well as the kids. The team will go out of their way to make sure the kids’s needs are met and cheerful. My granddaughter attends Playdor Childcare centre School Chorley and is in the preschool class, she has attended the childcare centre since the baby class, 1-year-old.

June 15, 2025 at 8:39 amThere is a homely sense to the setting, this along with the secure relationships she has built with the team has meant that my daughter has settled well and is very cheerful when I drop her off and collect her each day. My daughter has made significant improvements in her eating (which has previously been a cause for concern) and overall development since starting at Playdor, each member of team (including the chef) has gone above and beyond to help my daughter. The team in the baby room are the biggest strength, they have been welcoming and responsive to my daughter’s needs.

July 4, 2025 at 12:45 pmIt’s not too big so the kids aren’t overwhelmed and are given enough individual attention. My son has been going here since January 2021 and has been well looked after in toddlers and is now in pre-school. He has extra needs and team have worked tirelessly to get a plan in for him ready for school. All the team are incredible but his keyworker had been incredible in developing his speech and his social skills and has had endless patience with him. He loves going here and just runs in when we drop him off.
They’ve held stay-and-playtime days and also have an app so you can see what they’ve done in the day. I fully suggest this childcare centre and I know my son will be sad to leave when he starts school in September. This is a lovely childcare centre.
