The Little People

He is leaving with so much more knowledge, self‑assurance and independence. The transition from us bribing him to go to childcare centre, to bribing him to come home again, was almost instant. One memory that sticks in my mind, is from a morning I was dropping him off, he had insisted on wearing a baggy necked Tshirt, on autopilot I justified dropping him of looking like Oliver Twist, I needn’t have worried as the response was “Oh well it’s only childcare centre”, which is true. I have never felt judged by any team, even when my little muck magnet has been far from perfect. In fact, it almost seems wrong to refer to them as members of team. Our friends at The Little People are much more fitting, they are relaxed but in tune with all their Little People. The time my son has spent there has had such an impact on our little man and us as a family, seeing him sparkle and be so cheerful. Now our little man is leaving The Little People to continue his adventures to big boy school.
