Little Gems Private Day Nursery

The team do their best to get the kids outside when the weather is suitable, which I appreciate as I think it’s important. The girls are always quite delighted to go in and enjoy their Little Gems days. There is a good range of activities for them to choose from in after school and a great outdoor area. We have had a positive period through all the rooms though covid caused a lot of disruption which staff/management did their best to minimise. I have two daughters who have been with Little Gems Private Day Nursery since Wobblers and Babies respectively; they are currently in the after school wraparound now they are at school. Staff are useful and patient in working through different developmental stages with the youngsters and parents. They both joined the preschool which was fantastic and my little ones learned a lot of truly useful abilities and information. They are kind and speak to my girls when we see them out and about as well as at childcare centre. The attention is excellent and I advocate Little Gems.

Both my young lad and girl have had food allergies, and not only were Little Gems great about alternative meals but snacks and food in activities such as king buns and making top hats were separate, so we had no concerns or worries. Similarly, with our older young lady – she really enjoys all the fun and exploring new things. Attending Littel Gems has definitely helped with both their progress in terms of speech and conversations. Our young lad moved from the baby room to the toddler recently, and the move was smooth – he treasures the activities, and we enjoy seeing the photos of what he gets up to. Both my boy and little one enrol at Little Gems and cherish it.

They have created such special relationships with my kids and I know when they can’t be with me that they are in good hands. Staff make sure to contact me immediately if there are any concerns about my child’s well-being and are quick to inform me about any incidents that may have occurred during their day at nursery setting. Both my little ones have was enrolled at Little Gems Day Nursery since they were eleven months old and we couldn’t speak more wholeheartedly of the personnel and management. They have well-balanced and home-cooked meals provided and the personnel work closely in partnership with myself and my husband to ensure continuity of attention between early‑years hub and home.

My little one started nursery setting there this month and so far we’ve only had a great period with the place – the team are extremely welcoming and caring, delighted to help, talk to you and give you peace of mind and assurance everything is in the hands of professionals. My baby girl is still getting through her adjustment period there but it’s not long after I leave her there I found out they help her to settle well and pleased to stay there for the entire day.

My 1-year-old cries when we drive past Little Gems Private Day Nursery as he’s disappointed not to be going! Brilliant attention from the team and first-class premises and excellent correspondence. Great variety of food too.

The team are so gentle and encouraging and have really helped my young lad to develop his confidence and social abilities. We have been absolutely delighted with the support he has received and we honestly only have good things to say! The sites are great and the kids enjoy lots of outside playtime, fun activities and trips. They are so kind, approachable and kind and nothing is ever too much trouble. He absolutely enjoys it! He was picked up from school (always on time) and spent the afternoons having great fun with friends, doing homework or activities, or just relaxing! My older young lad has also was enrolled at Little Gems after-school and cherished it. It really was a home from home. The managers have been so useful and accommodating too. We would wholeheartedly suggest Little Gems to anyone! My boy has joined Little Gems since he was in the baby room, and he’s now in the Pre-School room. The team go above and beyond and it’s clear how much they care about each little one.

We always got a thorough update at pick up. We absolutely enjoyed the kind, supportive space for our young lady at Little Gems. The crew are brilliant. Thank you for everything. We had a big folder full of all her arts and crafts and lovely photos of her when we left (moving to another country, otherwise, we’d still be there!). I liked that she had space to games outside as well as lots to do inside too! She was always pleased to go to childcare centre, running in the door with a big smile.

Upon entering the after-school program, my four-year-old was playing video games and watching movies for well over an hour every day – we were never even informed that she would be introduced to video games in her daycare setting. The content is not educational – lots of trolls and videos of racing games. The upside of Little Gems is the in room team are truly welcoming and kind. We were told initially that they would have tv for about 15-20 min a day whilst team cleared up from lunch. We had a disappointing journey here. We discovered indirectly that this isn’t true – they keep the tv on for an hour. A couple of visits revealed that while toys may be available, the curtains are drawn and lights are out whilst the tv is on. I wish I had full visibility of their policies on screens and video games. Our young lady went to from age 2.5-4. When we expressed concern that we weren’t told this, they said they make other toys available during screen time.

They all enjoyed it. Love it. A thrilled and caring environment. Lovely personnel, extremely engaged and supportive. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My two older little ones have extremely pleased memories. Have sent all 3 of our kids there.

My young lady is currently in the Cubs room, and I cannot praise the personnel enough. She enjoys going to Little Gems every day and participates in a vast range of exploring activities, such as music and dancing, art, outdoor exploring, baking, and so much more. After being born with various medical conditions, my little one was behind with her advancement but has fully caught up and is doing great with her speech and social competences, thanks to Little Gems.
