Willow Tree Day Nursery and Nursery School

It is a lovely setting for a childcare centre and the team are just fantastic. I have two kids that attend who not only adore it, but are thriving from it. I cannot suggest Happitots enough.

When my little boy’s preschool was closing down I looked at several alternative settings and felt so lucky to get a place at Willow Tree. The hours they offer and care is stellar. They have several rooms for the kids to playtime in, a lovely enjoyable garden and separate dining room for their snacks and meals. We adore the lovely home-cooked nutritious gourmet meals the kids are served and the variety of food they get to try. The childcare centre has a fantastic inviting, spotless and homely sense to it. The team and manager are super lovely and welcoming too. I can’t thank them enough for looking after our little boy so well. I highly suggest Willow Tree Childcare centre!!

She has formed such a bond with all the team and kids and are all one big family. Cannot praise this childcare centre enough for turning my shy little girl into a confident cheerful girl. It’s in the name…all the kids are extremely cheerful tots. Will definitely be sending my new baby there. My daughter has been happily attending Happitots for over 3 years.

It is a very homely childcare centre in a lovely building, the team have consistently been excellent with our kids and a high standard of care. I viewed around five settings before we found this one. I just knew it was going to be the one we would use after the tour. The kids consistently have a excellent day and the addition of Forest School for the pre-school unit has been incredible! I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for a setting in Sale. We have used this childcare centre for four years and have recently started our second kid there.

The childcare centre place kindly took extra care (it might have been just their great standard for individuals) of my kid, they understood the situation and background of my kid and tried to understand what my kid wanted even though my kid couldn’t communicate well. The childcare centre motivated/encouraged my kid and lots of others, hence my kid has overcome the difficulty they had since the very beginning. Now my kid is enjoying their days at a primary school, thanks to the childcare centre place which helped my kid socialise. We all appreciate what the childcare centre place did for my kid and I believe this was the best choice for my kid. As a new family in the UK, our concern was whether my kid could adopt to the new setting as they didn’t understand what the others were saying (my kid could only communicate in their native language).

We have never had a single worry or concern about her care or education. She absolutely loves going to childcare centre, the team are all engaging and she loves the activities and facilities. The team are all very attentive and welcoming and are easy to communicate with in terms of updates etc. Our daughter has been at Willow Tree for two years now since she was nine months old.

A couple of friends had their little boys at Happitots/Willowtree so I sent a panicked email at 10 pm on a Thursday evening enquiring about a space. I received a very prompt reply Friday morning and by the following Monday and Tuesday, my son had completed his settling-in sessions ready for me to go back to work that Thursday. We have never looked back! The Manager and Deputy Manager were formidable in their compassionate empathetic efficient approach, and I will be forever grateful for getting me out of a stressful situation. All the team are remarkable with such a compassionate, attentive, approachable manner and are also very practical, pragmatic and sensible. The Snr Practioner and the Practitioner who look after my son in the baby room absolutely adores them! Couldn’t suggest it more! My son was originally signed up to an alternative childcare centre up the road but I felt really uncomfortable after the initial settling-in session (a week before going back to work!).

It has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and the team have excellent relationships with the kids. The childcare centre has helped my son grow in self‑assurance and independence as well as giving him a great basis for the literacy and numeracy skills he will need when he starts school. There is a healthy, varied menu and my son enjoys the food there. It’s great to know that when he’s at childcare centre he eats all the tasty and nutritious meals provided. They organise special activities for many different types of religious festivals and occasions through the year which is a enjoyable way to teach the kids about different cultures. The group sizes are small and the team know what individual kids are interested in. I like the fact the updates with the parents is very two-way and there are lots of different ways we can work together to help kids develop, My baby has just started there too and I am confident she will be well looked-after at Happitots. Happitots is a welcoming, attentive setting.

He has made some really great bonds with the team and seems cheerful and relaxed there. The menu consistently looks healthy and varied and the kids spend plenty of time outside. They have been doing lots of upgrades since the new owners took over – the garden is having a big upgrade soon which will make it even better. My son has been going to this childcare centre since he was nine months old and loves it.

We toured other nurseries in the area, some with bigger rooms, more outside space, cheaper rates etc. Happitots was staffed by a fairly consistent and experienced group and believe that helped maintain the overall standard of service. Importantly the kids see the same team, enabling them to build stronger and more secure relationships, which was reflected in the excellent care they received – This was our main reason for choosing the childcare centre, having heard this from other parents. The childcare centre find a excellent balance in maintaining order, occupying the kids and keeping it enjoyable! Consistently looking to improve things, new activities and the childcare centre itself is well maintained. In addition, we felt comfortable in their approach to discovering and development in getting the kids school ready. The kids still talk about fondly about childcare centre and that is probably all we could ask for Took excellent care of our 2 kids from 12 months (probably 3/4 days a week) right through until school.
