Pear Tree Montessori Nursery

The team at Pear Tree were really accommodating to his needs and supported both us as parents as well as our son.

Pear Tree arranged for extra resources to help bring on his speech as well as regular updates with us and our speech therapist.
A year on, he has come on so much, it’s unbelievable he couldn’t speak a word a year ago! The childcare centre regularly updates us on his development and still helps fill any gaps he still has.
It was one of the best decisions we made to send him to Pear Tree and we will forever be grateful for all the assistance we have been given. Our son joined Pear Tree when he was 2 years old, we were extremely worried as he was not meeting his milestones and wasn’t using any speech as a form of updates.

My kid has been attending since she was 6 months, she’s now in preschool and enjoying her last few months before she starts school.

She has been cared for and supported every day. The people who work there are thoughtful and attentive. I am so grateful for all they do.

The setting is calm and each kid is welcome to express themselves in their own way.

If your kid has the chance to attend Peartree it will be the best journey. Peartree is the most incredible childcare centre.

We were lucky to get a spot and our son has settled in very quickly. The kids seem really cheerful and the team are very creative and thoughtful with the activities throughout the week. Have been impressed with the food menu too. We looked at quite a few nurseries in the area and what stood out for us was the family sense at Pear Tree Montessori Childcare centre which is down to the incredible team.

She has come out of her shell so much over the years and her development is improving remarkable with the lovely team. The childcare centre is a lovely setting and is consistently spotless. Absolutely gutted this is our final year before the school adventure starts. You are a lovely team at Pear tree! Keep up the hard work. My daughter is 4 years old and has been going since she was 15 months old.

The team are all so attentive and are excellent with the kids – they adapt activities in the classroom to suit kids’s interests and make it enjoyable and engaging. All three of my kids have attended the childcare centre and I would happily suggest it to others. Pear Tree is a lovely childcare centre.

The activities are kid-centred and carers are flexible, choosing activities that relate to a kid’s interest. The chef is especially compassionate and seems to know every kid’s name as she comes and goes from the building. She also has the ability to make food our kids will eat!
One slight problem is the number of team changes in my kid’s class. She is often greeted by different team members, and as she finds it difficult to go in, in the morning, it can be very emotional for her with the lack of a key person to greet her. Overall Pear Tree is a compassionate and attentive childcare centre that has really suited both our kids.

She is now in pre-school. She consistently has a excellent time at childcare centre. There are so many activities in childcare centre to keep kids busy and discovering. Team are consistently very attentive. They have done remarkable work during the pandemic to keep kids and team healthy and secure within the childcare centre. It is consistently a very calm and welcoming setting at childcare centre. Childcare centre is also very focused on food nutrition for all kids. Mixed cuisine on the menu too. My daughter really enjoys time at childcare centre. My daughter has attended Pear Tree since she was 1 year old.

The team really care for the kids and put so much into each of the activities to suit their needs and interests. Every day they do something new and interesting, with regular updates on the closed Facebook group, as well as detailed observations on tapestry. The food menu is varied and nutritious. Updates and feedback is outstanding, there are regular parents evenings and parent-only meetings to discuss changes or make suggestions, as well as regular email newsletters. The garden is outstanding, well maintained with lots for the kids to do. The closed Facebook group has been a particular highlight for us as we’ve been able to see our kids interacting with friends, seeing them with their peers doing activities has been especially important due to covid meaning we’re never physically in their rooms at pick up or drop off. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Pear Tree to others. We have two kids at Pear Tree who have attended for over a year.

I’m really glad I chose this childcare centre for my kid. The team are really attentive. My daughter loves the place and is excited to go in every morning. She started going there when she was 11 months old and is now in Class 3.
Adore the way the team keep us updated on their plans for the month/week and also keep us updated on the development of the kid via handovers and the app. Very impressed with the daily routines the team provide for the kids, with such a vast array of activities, as well as promoting outdoor playtime and frequent trips to the parks, supermarkets etc. Also pleased with the food which is freshly cooked and nutritious.
I sense proud to see my little one developing into a very confident and independent individual. Highly recommended childcare centre! Pear tree is a inviting, welcoming, secure and enjoyable place with expert and welcoming team.

Team are excellent with the kids and give great handover information. Informative patents evenings and other opportunities for patents to get involved. Outstanding, lovely childcare centre and remarkable activities and updates through tapestry.
