First Steps Day Nursery & Pre-School Ltd

Despite entering the childcare centre during COVID-19, I have consistently felt comfortable with our choice as our kid has never been upset being left even though we weren’t able to drop her off and settle her. Her updates and particularly her speech are outstanding and I believe this to be a testament to the variety of engaging activities provided such as reading books, singing, crafts and free playtime with the other kids. The outside space is also a huge positive at this setting as it is well maintained again with a variety of activities from simply kicking a ball to musical instruments.

Updates by the childcare centre is outstanding with the use of Parent Zone throughout each session providing all the details on meals, naps and nappies alongside pictures of my daughter enjoying her day. They regularly hold parent’s mornings to enable a face to face catch up and are consistently cheerful to answer queries by phone or email. My 2 year old currently attends First Steps Day Childcare centre and has thoroughly enjoyed it from day one.

I was amazed by the facilities and space that they have. All the team are so welcoming and it has a family atmosphere and I am really cheerful that I have chosen First Steps Childcare centre for my son. My son has been so cheerful to go in and that makes me so much more confident in him spending his time there! I was looking for more consistent childcare and discovering for my son and when I went to visit the childcare centre, I felt at ease right away, the manager showed me round and allowed me to take it all in.

There’s consistently lots of different activities for the kids and a wide variety of food. There is also a excellent outside space for them to use. The team are very welcoming and attentive. My little boy is very cheerful there and has learnt so much. The hours are excellent too and make it easy for me to both drop off and collect my little boy around work. We’re very cheerful with First Steps.

Our son is now at school but started at the age of one. I was nervous about putting him into a childcare centre so young. We looked at four nurseries before visiting First Steps. The team made us sense very comfortable leaving him in their care and he loved going there from day one. We moved a couple of years ago to a different area and changed childcare centre as the drive was long. After three months of having our son in the new childcare centre, we did not sense like our son was looked after in the same attentive way and quickly changed back again. We both felt that even with a fairly long drive back and forth it was worth having him at First Steps Childcare centre. I would suggest first steps childcare centre to anyone as the team are attentive, and expert and will consistently communicate with us if any concerns. We have only had really great journey with this childcare centre. We have had both our son and daughter in First Steps Day Childcare centre.

There is a inviting, welcoming setting and the team go above and beyond to care for the needs of every kid. Team plan a range of engaging activities every day, linking to the 7 areas of discovering and development in the EYFS and we’ve been impressed at how quickly team have identified the activities our daughter enjoys. Updates with the childcare centre is outstanding. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team, she has settled in well and seems to really delight in her time there. We are really pleased we chose First Steps Childcare centre for our daughter.

From the minute myself and my husband visited we knew it was where we wanted our daughter to attend. The team were so welcoming and the kids were all so cheerful. Our little one has been attending for 4 weeks now and she has developed so much in just a short space of time. The team are so in tune with her, they know her routine, her likes and dislikes and they know when she just needs a cuddle. When we drop her off we know she is secure, cheerful and enjoying herself. The team keep in touch during the day using their app to update us on her sleep, her meals and her nappies. They put pictures on each day of what she has done. The childcare centre offers a excellent selection of home cooked food and our little one has eaten such a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables since she has been there. She plays outside and inside and each day has something new to look forward to! Thank you to everyone who is making this journey an enjoyable one for her! I cannot compliment First Steps Day Childcare centre & Pre-School enough for the childcare they offer.

They have been really supportive and flexible with work patterns and consistently make sure they do the best they can to make sure they can meet our requests. Our kids are consistently so cheerful to go to childcare centre and are consistently excited when they see the childcare centre and the team. We are consistently kept up to date with everything that happens at childcare centre from what they ate to how their day has been. The two years we have been with them so far they have been remarkable! Both kids are with this childcare centre and we would highly suggest them.

Not only do they welcome my son daily with big smiles they also welcome my eldest each day and ask about his day (he’s in school). My little boy started with a number of medical needs and the team at the childcare centre have been remarkable and very supportive, even when new medical issues have presented the team have been so reassuring and made me sense confident and comfortable leaving my son in their care. From the moment you step through the door of this childcare centre, you sense part of the family.

I am so pleased and grateful for how these ladies have supported my son with his eating habits, toilet training and his speech. The difference in my son from when he started childcare centre to now is remarkable and the childcare centre maintains very great updates with me on everything. My son consistently walks in with a cheeky smile on his face and on the days he isn’t in a smiley mood his met with smiles, encouragement and hugs. This is very reassuring for me as a parent. Team are consistently very welcoming, and supportive and in our journey have gone the extra mile to assistance my son. I appreciate these lovely ladies for the incredible care and for creating a lovely inviting setting for our kids. What a remarkable group of women who genuinely care for the kids in the childcare centre.

The manager is lovely and very supportive, and so are all the other team. The childcare centre is spotless and very welcoming First steps childcare centre has been a part of my daughter’s life since she was 8 months old, she’s now 4 years old, and I’ve consistently felt cheerful leaving her there and my daughter is also cheerful to be going.
