Bright Horizons Astley Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter loves her nursery. She’s formed a great relationship with her key person, whose feedback on my daughter’s development is really helpful. The staff have cared for her throughout significant health issues, understanding her needs and catering to them safely. She enjoys a well thought out and balanced (and exotic!) diet and eats pretty much everything which they cook freshly on site. She loves playing outside on the bikes, the imagination games in the tuff trays and doing arts and crafts. As well as circle time with songs and dancing. Every day she comes home with something new and glittery that she’s made. As a family, we absolutely love this nursery and how it has nurtured our daughter and helped her to learn.

Amazing nursery with lovely staff (only know a few as my little boy only started in February) everyone I have met up to now are lovely especially the Nursery Manager, the Deputy Manager, and the two members of staff in the baby room. With my little boy starting nursery during a pandemic I was very apprehensive and concerned about him settling but I was told numerous times to ring up and check on him as many times as I wanted and when I did ring they gave me good feedback and assured me he was fine and would contact me if not.

If you have any problems the staff will help and do whatever they can to sort the problems, they’re all so approachable, my little boy loves going to nursery and the books they provide with all the stuff they have eaten and done through the day is a lovely idea, rather than it being all electronic. Honestly such a lovely nursery cant recommend enough.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for the past 3 years and she absolutely loves it. The staff and management are fantastic, they genuinely care for the children. It is nice to be able to leave my daughter happy and in safe hands knowing she is being cared for and loved by her keyworker(s). I would, and do, highly recommend this nursery to anybody including friends and family.

My granddaughter started here six weeks ago and absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It has definitely made my daughter’s anxiety about leaving her and going back to work a lot easier knowing she is being left in such good hands. Thank you.

My daughter started here at nine months after not much socialising due to covid. The staff have been brilliant at making sure she settled in and is excited to go. She has been there for nine months now and is learning new things all the time. They keep me well informed of all her activities and I really do feel like she is in safe hands. It makes going to work and leaving her that little bit easier.

Both my boys, aged 3 years old and 1 year old, attend Bright Horizons Day Nursery, Astley. I couldn’t recommend enough. The staff are fantastic, my boys have loved their individual key workers in each room, and built great relationships with each of them, to the point where they are happy and eager to go into nursery every morning. The baby room staff are fab, they will listen to your wants and needs, stick to your home routine and take away the anxiety and worries you may have. Both boys have academically come on leaps and bounds even though my eldest had a lot of time at home due to covid and lockdown. My 3-year-old had delayed speech and this is now rectified with the help of the staff. It’s a very clean nursery, always serves a good variety of food. You can tell the staff enjoy their job, as there is always a happy, friendly atmosphere any time of the day, whether is 7am or 6pm! You’ll be happy you chose this nursery for your child.

The staff at the nursery have been very supportive whilst my baby has been settling in and I have returned to work.

Always very welcoming and enthusiastic. Very clean environment. My granddaughter has learnt so many good habits, manners and vocabulary here and she only attends twice a week. The waiting room is very pleasant with lots of information to read about the menus and activities.

5-star rating! Highly recommended nursery! We chose Bright Horizons, Astley having only ever heard positive things and so far we have not been disappointed. From the first initial enquiry, to starting, stage stepping through to emergency support, we cannot say a bad word! All the team are welcoming, supportive, caring and love each child as if they are their own. The staff are truly amazing! The nursery is immaculate inside and out as the team of cleaners are on-site throughout the day and not just in an evening. The nursery’s chef creates high-quality food menus and offers a great variety of options, to suit individual lifestyle choices. If you are lucky enough to get a place here, then you will not be disappointed! Thank you to the manager, one other staff member in particular and the baby/toddler room team members, for your compassion and support during our daughter’s seizure episode, without your knowledge and reassurance, we may never of left her side. You are all truly amazing!
