We would recommend the nursery. All the staff are friendly and we go to work knowing our daughter is safe, happy and in good hands.

March 16, 2023 at 12:00 amOur little boy has been at Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley for 8 months now, and we cannot fault the service and care he receives! His speech and eating has developed massively and I know he absolutely loves his time there. His key workers helped him settle in so well and made the transition to the older class so seamless. Thank you to all the staff at Best Friends!

March 16, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley since she was 8 months old (she’s now 1 and a half) and she’s loved it from day one, I barely even get a wave in a morning when she goes in, she walks straight through the door, gives the staff cuddles when going in and at home time. I’ll admit like any mother I was nervous when she first started but the staff were so lovely from day one and she took to them instantly there wasn’t anything to be nervous about, they put photos up and about her development and activities on the nursery app, it’s brilliant, couldn’t fault it and I recommend Best Friends to anyone I know who asks about nurseries for their little ones.

March 16, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child had attended since they were six months old, I couldn’t rate the nursery enough. They are flourishing at Best Friends Nursery and progressing well. The food is varied and balanced, and no day is the same.

March 16, 2023 at 12:00 amMy little girl has attended Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley since March 2022 and I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. They plan activities each day, the meals are varied and healthy. The staff are so thoughtful and friendly. My daughter clearly has a great relationship with each of the workers in her room and couldn’t be happier there.

My only negative is the lack of updates on the app, but I know he is well looked after and he loves it here so thank you to all the team at Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley

It would be good to get more feedback/updates on the app.

Coming from a nursery that is very discriminative, I am impressed with Best Friends and would highly recommend the school to families.

March 21, 2023 at 12:00 amThe nursery is great. Staff are always available and happy to have a conversation and listen to any concerns. When my daughter was settling in they were in regular contact updating me on how she was after I’d left. My daughter is vegan and they have always been really accommodating with this also.

March 21, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son has really settled into this nursery. He claps with excitement when we pull up into the car park. I feel that the nursery has dealt with any of our queries hands-on. We absolutely love the updates that we get on the app and the staff provides us with a really good handover at the end of the day. Our son’s nursery room is always so welcoming and engaging for the babies, with a full range of activities all setup, ready for the day ahead.

Staff are always so friendly and happy to spend the time updating you on your child! Lots of activities for the children to do and you can see the staff really care for the children.

March 21, 2023 at 12:00 amWe don’t have visibility on the learning as there are minimal updates on the app. My child seems more than happy and we are happy with the nursery, it would be great to just see more of what she is doing. The staff in my child’s class are excellent.

March 21, 2023 at 12:00 amI feel overall the nursery is good. My concern is the cleanliness is not at their best either the rooms, stairs or main hall.
I don’t receive any information about what activities my son is engaged in or enjoys the best. Actually, I haven’t been informed about what they do during the day or week. I know they play outside or in the soft play area which I think is amazing but knowing what they’re learning would be beneficial for us so we can set some activities at home.
The staff are friendly and caring and I think my little boy likes being there which as a Mum is something less to worry about.

Shout out to a staff member in pre-school, he is always so informative and friendly and has made my son love coming to nursery!

They communicate well about daily activities. I really appreciate the nursery and all their hard work. They are diligent in helping support my son’s allergy.

March 23, 2023 at 12:00 amMy two daughters go here, and they love it. The staff are lovely and engaging with them. There is a variety of activities for them to do, which changes often, and the rooms have lots of space. The food is great too – they love it. They love to stretch and grow on a Monday.

Note, it would have been better if daily feedback about the child’s eating, sleeping and other activities were given in writing rather than verbal report.

April 25, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter has attended Best Friends Nursery full-time since she was nine months old and we are very happy with our choice of nursery. She settled in really well in both the ‘babies’ and ‘tinies’ rooms. She is so excited to go to nursery each day and always has big smiles when we pick her up. She loves all the activities, particularly ‘stretch and grow’ and the outside areas and all the staff are lovely. She is also a big fan of the food!
