Oberlin Street Nursery

As a child care practitioner and trainer, I have extremely high expectations of any child care provider. This setting has very standards and constantly strives to achieve outstanding. They are passionate about children and this shows on their interactions with them! My son loves nursery and is keen to go in the school holidays. Excellent communication between staff and parent, and appreciative of the time that is given to me when I pick my son up.

My son has been there since he was 1, never had a problem or a bad word to say! All staff are lovely! He is familiar with all the staff, he has lots of friends which have been there since day one with him. He’s always coming home telling the family what good fun he’s had at nursery. Highly recommend!

My nephew attended the nursery and was welcomed and made to feel at home. They accommodated to his halal diet with ease and ensured he is always well looked after. His speech has massively improved since attending this setting he is always extremely excited about attending nursery and is always talking about the staff there I would highly recommend!

Amazing nursery, very family orientated. Incredible staff, very loving and understanding of every child’s individual needs. The management is really committed to provide safe and happy place for all the children. Clean and welcoming. My daughter absolutely loves this nursery. We have definitely made the right choice. Highly recommend it to other parents.

Oberlin nursery was recommended to me by my sister. My son has been going since he was two years old. All staff are lovely and friendly. He only comes twice a week but always tells me he’s had a good day and thing’s they have done throughout the day. The food is great and allows him to explore new varieties. I love the updates and pictures of seeing him doing different things every week also I can always ring to see how his day is going.

The nursery has always been fantastic in welcoming us in. My niece absolutely loves the staff and feels comfortable going to them. She sometimes asks to go in on weekends and when she’s off sick, which should tell you something. They are all lovely girls and really put the children first.

My daughter was very worried about starting nursery but she settled in so well with the help of the staff, they always communicate about her day and any concerns, during her time here she started potty training which they helped 100% with. Shes made great friends with staff and children and has learnt so much!

The nursery has changed a lot since my children started in the baby room. It’s absolutely fantastic. Such a welcoming place. The staff are always very helpful and adhere to changes regarding my children.
My children love it here. They come home every day full of stories about their day. I’m informed regularly through the app about any activities and what they have eaten.
Any queries I have, I can message the manager in the app, and she responds fairly quickly.
I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Oberlin Street Nursery is outstanding in the care of my granddaughter, who I care for daily. The staff are warm and friendly with every child, and they know them intimately. Their setting provides imaginative learning opportunities based on the children’s own interests: for instance, they provided a star-making activity because my granddaughter likes Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Despite all these wonderful activities, the setting is immaculately clean, tidy and welcoming.
They cater exceptionally well for dietary needs, my granddaughter is dairy free, and she is always included in every food activity. The caterers provide the oat milk she prefers. The staff went out of their way to find dairy-free chocolate so she could make a chocolate cake with everyone else.
The nursery works hard to include parents/carers and family as well, eg grandparents day and parents’ commitment.
The staff take safeguarding very seriously and are well-trained. The setting is safe and secure.
I would highly recommend them.

I confess that as a mother, I was afraid of how my son would be received at the nursery – if he would cry whenever I left him there, if he would have his bum scratched for spending too long in a diaper, and the truth is that he never cries when I leave him, and until today he hasn’t had his bum scratched.
I had an opportunity to spend one hour on his first day, and I enjoyed seeing how he and other children interacted with each other and the way nurseries take care of each child.
The staff are very sweet and friendly, and whenever I have a question, they are always available to answer it.
The best thing is that I have access to all the meals he eats, reports on how his week went and a little more.
I recommend the nursery without hesitation.
