Little Acorns Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Atherton

Our kids’s development has come on loads since attending. We adore the optional extras of swimming and languages, we adore the excellent discovering setting and how our kids’s interests inform their discovering plans, but most of all we adore that the team genuinely care about our kids and we sense comfortable leaving them in Little Acorns care. My husband and I really rate Little Acorns, we have 4 kids and each has/currently attends.

Therefore I did not hesitate when deciding where to send my youngest son. He has been there since he was a baby and has come on leaps and bounds. The childcare centre has such a homely sense to it and all the team are so welcoming and easy to approach. The care they show towards the kids is second to none. I have consistently felt completely comfortable when leaving my kids here and the safeguarding procedures in place are very reassuring.

Updates between the childcare centre and parents is also excellent. There are regular open evenings for families where we get to see my son’s work and development and I adore this. I would really suggest Little Acorns to any parent and I am very grateful of the care and assistance they have provided me and my 2 sons with (and continue to do so) My eldest kid attended Little Acorns from 9 months old until he left for school and absolutely thrived there.

Our daughter was a lockdown baby so we decided to put her into childcare centre earlier than planned, at six months old, in order to socialise. She was a very shy baby, but the team have gone above and beyond with her. We had her parents evening recently (she’s nearly three now) and the difference in her is phenomenal. She’s chatty, confident, plays well and all this has really been taught and nurtured in her whilst at childcare centre (she’s in five days a week). I also adore that the childcare centre make an effort to put on events for the kids (and parents too). We are looking forward to the garden party next week. Huge praise for the team, if we have another kid we know where we’re sending them! We weighed up about five nurseries before choosing this one and we’re so glad we did.

They treat the kids like their own. They nurture, educate and help the kids build self‑assurance. My son has learnt so much in his time here and people tell me he’s so clever and grown up – I put this down to the quality of teaching at this childcare centre. The safeguarding is second to none and you sense like your kid is secure whilst there. The manager and team are incredible! Little Acorns is an incredible childcare centre.

He sees the team as his family and absolutely loved going! If he is ever feeling unwell or tired from our early morning wake-up calls, the team are consistently quick to cuddle and squeeze him when he arrives, to provide the assistance he requires. One of the team members often has his breakfast laid out ready for his arrival because she knows him so well!
I have never had an issue with anything, I will truly be sad when my son has to leave for Primary School. My son is almost 3 years old and has been going to Little Acorns Childcare centre since he was 9 months old.

There honestly hasn’t been a single day where she hasn’t been cheerful and excited to go in. She’s come on so much through the years and aside from academically, the childcare centre has also provided assistance in life stages such as walking, toilet training etc. When selecting a childcare centre, one of things that drew me to Little Acorns was the additional activities like days out, swimming, Spanish lessons etc. and these have not disappointed. My kid has attended Little Acorns Private Day Childcare centre and Pre-school full time, from the baby room through to the pre-school.

My daughter has grown and developed/developing into an incredible little girl extremely clever, confident, cheerful and attentive and childcare centre has a huge huge part of this with how they teach, learn and communicate with the kids.
Also, they don’t just sit around inside, they have a exceptional outside playtime area and also plan field trips which the kids just adore and also take them swimming once they’re in the last stages of childcare centre which I think is exceptional.
Everything about this childcare centre is incredible.
Thank You to all the childcare centre team for everything you’ve done/doing for my daughter and myself so far. Since my daughter first attended back in 2020 the whole team has been nothing short of incredible, especially the childcare centre manager.
No matter what situation great or bad she is there for you 100% which gives you a sense of comfort as you know your kid and other kids are their number one priority.

My son has been here since he was 9 months old and he will be starting school this September. He has developed and grown into such a attentive, compassionate and clever little boy and I believe Little Acorns have helped with this. I will be extremely sad when he leaves this childcare centre as he loves it so much and has such a special bond with the team that work here. I honestly couldn’t suggest them enough! Little Acorns is an outstanding childcare centre, All the team go above and beyond.

She started as such a shy baby and has now grown up into a little girl with so much character and self‑assurance and I put that down to the team at childcare centre. We get constant updates, welcome advice and a whole host of stories on pick up! Thank you Little Acorns for taking that weekday pressure away and making the whole process a dream. Little Acorns have been incredible with our little girl.

He does a wide range of activities which he thoroughly enjoys. The childcare centre team really take an interest in the kid’s interests and try to promote these at childcare centre. The team are all really lovely and welcoming too. We get a inviting welcome every morning. My little boy is currently in the Tweenies room and really enjoys going.
