The Sunflower Children's Centre

Lovely team, both the girls were/are cheerful here. Wouldn’t have had them go anywhere else! Excellent childcare centre, my middle kid was here for four years and knew my youngest would also be going as the childcare centre is so well ran.

The team are so welcoming and really go above and beyond. My daughter started back in September 2022 and we are so impressed with how far she has come on! Our daughter consistently goes in with a smile on her face and is so settled with her key worker and all the team Absolutely adore this childcare centre.

My son has been coming here for nearly a year, after a short journey with another childcare centre, this one is incredible, I adore the outdoor spaces for the kids and the varied experiences they get are exceptional.

I can honestly say that there is no one else I would trust to look after her – the team are incredible. They are so expert, yet all of their fantastic personalities shine through and they are so inviting and nurturing. My daughter loves coming to childcare centre – she loves all of the ladies who look after her and especially sports and forest school! The provision is outstanding and the team are busy helping to prepare her for school in September, but also ensuring she has lots of enjoyable. All of the team are welcoming and cheerful – not just the childcare centre educators, but admin team too – everyone goes above and beyond. The parents’ and carers’ free sessions such as paediatric First Aid are such a compassionate and supportive idea. My daughter has blossomed here and it is an honour for her to be at The Sunflower Kids’s Centre, Hyde. My son attended The Sunflower Kids’s Centre until he started school, and my daughter started at The Sunflower Kids’s Centre in November 2019 at the age of 14 months and she is now in Pre-school.

He is very well settled and absolutely loves it. As my only grandson, it is consistently a worry leaving him away from the family but I can honestly say it is the best thing ever for him. As a lockdown baby, he hadn’t really mixed with others so was a worry but he is really enjoying his time spent with other kids. The team are exceptional with him and keep us updated throughout each day with pictures, messages, meals etc so you can see how he is doing throughout the day. My daughter and I viewed three nurseries and I have to say this one stood out straight away and has proved to be the right choice. My grandson has really come on since joining and he loves the daily activities. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this childcare centre, it is outstanding. Well done team Sunflower. My grandson has been attending Sunflower kids’s childcare centre for a few months.

Wow, I am so glad I choose this childcare centre. They go above and beyond for every single kid, tailor to their needs, the input and care they give my kid is just outstanding. Updates on a day to day basis regarding my childs nappy’s, feeding, mood, nap times, activity’s is fed back to me. Inclusion at this childcare centre is up there with one of the best, they have trained to feed my kid so he’s able to attend, had time with myself to learn a lot more about my kid and their conditions and they even practice his physio exercises with him throughout the day. SENDco is remarkable, she really knows what she’s talking about which is SO refreshing, is really approachable and understanding, which makes a huge difference as a nervous and anxious mummy. Thankful and grateful for you all at The Sunflower Kids’s Centre! My kid who has additional needs, poor mobility and feeding requirements started this childcare centre in January 2023, I was extremely anxious due to having had a bad journey at a previous childcare centre.

Both my kids attend the childcare centre and are absolutely thriving.
The team are fantastic, compassionate and nurturing.
On both occasions when I have had to return to work after maternity leave, I have felt reassured by team and that both my girls are secure in the care of The Sunflower Kids’s Centre.

One of my kids has special needs and requires a 1-1 carer at all times, who is incredible and so attentive welcoming and honest.
They are all very welcoming attentive and supportive team. They have SENCO who, in my case has been fantastic and supportive to meet the needs of my little one.
Updates with all team is excellent and nothing is too much trouble to help and assistance.
My kids are very cheerful and do lots of activities which I get to see on the parent app, which to me is essential.
Fabulous childcare centre to meet my baby’s needs. The childcare centre is the best for my two kids.

She has recently moved from Buds to Petals and she is so cheerful and thriving within her discovering and development, she really enjoys her time at Sunflower the team are like our extended family. I adore the updates I receive during the day too. My daughter has attended The Sunflower Kids’s Centre since she was 9 months old where she settled into the Seedling room with a lovely team of team who ensured she was well supported during transition, was really well cared for and had lots of enjoyable throughout the day.

This was a excellent positive – the team are consistently encouraging the kids to do what they take interest in. The only negative comment is regarding being sent invoices to pay for meals during school holidays, when the kids aren’t in attendance, as they only do term time. We simply shouldn’t have to pay for meals they aren’t receiving. I pay for meals if they aren’t in for reasons due to illness. Very great childcare centre – all the team are lovely and both our kids adore this childcare centre and are eager to go every time, compared to another local childcare centre where my eldest kid refused to go in as he didn’t like it.
