Rebeccas Day Nursery

Originally he went to a much bigger childcare centre that just wasn’t able to keep his individual needs as a priority. Moving him to Rebecca’s was the best decision I ever made. The team here use makaton sign language to help him to communicate and normalise it for the other kids to learn to help him to make friendships. The childcare centre is small with a lovely busy homely sense to it. They cater for his dietary needs, with all food being freshly prepared. There is consistently plenty to do and a excellent rotation of activities and toys which consistently keep in mind my sons developmental stage and interests. I adore the fact that my son is able to playtime with a wider age group of kids than most nurseries, rather than being segregated by ages. It means that there are no painful room transitions to make which was a massive bonus to me! The key worker system works excellent and all of the team are incredibly skilled. My son has complex additional needs and has been attending Rebecca’s for over a year now.
