Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Stockton Heath

Staff tell us about her day and food intake and inform us about accidents promptly. She has made lots of friends and is consistently cheerful when we pick her up. I sense, particularly for the baby room, other nurseries seem to offer more info (online/via app) on the kid’s development which lots of parents would prefer such as photos/ info on naps/food/activities. The parent app on offer currently doesn’t seem to offer much. Our kid is generally very cheerful and flourishing in her placement.

She has built excellent relationships with team and kids during her time at Stepping Stones who have contributed to her discovering.
The structure of the day means she’s never bored or looking for activities to do, she is consistently exhausted after a busy childcare centre day! My kid settled in quickly and has excelled at her time in this childcare centre.

My son went here and now my daughter. Amazing team are consistently really welcoming and I trust the girls with my daughter, she settled in straight away on her first day and I didn’t have any worries. Wouldn’t suggest a better childcare centre.

The team are outstanding at communicating and he’s developed a lovely bond with the girls in his room. He has established a excellent routine there and really enjoys going, as they are consistently organising themed days and opportunities to learn and explore through playtime. The setting is lovely, they have nice gardens for the kids to playtime in and well-kept equipment. Any times we’ve had any queries about our kid or concerns about his development, the team and management have been outstanding at communicating with us, reassuring us and liaising with the health visitor. Thank you to all the girls at Stepping Stones! My little boy (2) has been at this childcare centre for about a year now and has never been happier in a childcare setting.

All team are attentive to our kids’s needs. When our kids have been unsettled, they have worked with us and how we want to address things has been taken onboard.
There was a period of unrest with team departures and reshuffling, but the childcare centre has consistently tried their best to resolve this and ensure kids were cheerful. This childcare centre is now back to where it was and our kids are thriving.
I think they could have a revamp of their outdoor areas and inside, a great paint. We have loved childcare centre since starting.

My daughter has attended for the last two years and is so settled and cheerful there. The team go above and beyond to care, assistance and teach the kids and it is lovely to see how much they genuinely delight in attentive for the kids on a day to day basis.
My daughter is consistently engaged in the different activities they offer and has learnt so much in terms of behavior and social skills. Another thing that sets this childcare centre apart is the commitment of the manager, she knows all the kids and parents so well and is able to give each family personal information on their kid, even though she isn’t in the rooms all of the time. I look forward to my little boy starting in a few months time! I would highly suggest Stepping Stones Nursery Stockton Heath.
