Hartford Old School House Day Nursery

One of the many reasons we chose here was due to them having a separate (but still part of the room) sleeping area for baby’s and that there were many cots so that multiple babies could nap at the same time, this is not the case in most other nurseries.
The team are all remarkable, they are inviting, attentive and playful with the kids.
Parents are kept up to date with their kid’s activities throughout the day via an app but you do get a quick rundown at the end of the day.
Facilities are also great, really nice outside area to explore and lots of things to keep them entertained. On occasion, they also take a trip out to the park, forest, library etc.
Really great selection of food on the menu and my kid consistently eats whatever they serve.
A excellent childcare centre. My son has attended this childcare centre since he was 9 months old and I have nothing but excellent things to say about it.

They do plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained and genuinely bond with the kids to make it a nice journey for them. We’re very pleased that we sent our daughter here. An outstanding childcare centre with very attentive team.

I have a daughter who has a chronic medical condition, not only did this childcare centre welcome us with open arms they rapidly put into motion how they could best adapt the area, train the team and accommodate my daughter’s delayed development. The manager is so sympathetic to our situation and very quickly put us at ease. With previous journey of trying to put my daughter in a similar setting not going so well – people being afraid, people not willing to help or even try. The manager did the complete opposite and said “ we have to help” I was nearly in tears.
My daughter has many appointments and lots of struggles and all of the team have understood this and taken it in their stride to help her develop.
In my opinion, this setting is truly exceptional and I’m so grateful my daughter is able to flourish and develop in a secure and playful setting. Hartford Old School Day Nursery are all around incredible!

The team are beyond compassionate and they do absolutely everything in the best interest of the kids.
It has been a secure, enjoyable, nurturing and most importantly attentive setting for our daughter.
Whenever we have had any concerns about our daughter’s welfare, the team have consistently listened to us, no matter how trivial it might have seemed.
The team consistently go the extra mile to provide an incredible journey for the kids such as trips to the forest, the park and bringing outside activities in such as football and dance.
The food is exceptional, so healthy, they managed to get our daughter to eat things she never would at home!
We couldn’t have asked for a better start in life for our daughter and we will be forever grateful to the team and management. Our daughter attended Hartford Old School House Nursery between the age of 9 months and 4 years (she is in her final few weeks now until big school time!).
We simply couldn’t suggest the Old School House Nursery more.

The team are what makes this childcare centre so remarkable. They all work together to provide a welcoming and cheerful setting for the kids. They are consistently developing and improving the facilities and the activities on offer to the kids. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. Both of my kids have attended this childcare centre, preschool and wrap around care.

The childcare centre set up a different range of activities each day, all with the aim and focus of developing different skill sets. My son suffers with his hearing due to ear infections and the childcare centre have gone out of their way to assistance him with different methods of updates to ensure that his updates doesn’t fall behind. We get regular updates and pictures via the app which we adore as it allows us to see what he’s up to during the day. The childcare centre do loads of lovely things around special events, such as a garden party with the kids for the King’s Coronation recently. All the team are so lovely and welcoming, and the variety of food on offer each day is incredible and all cooked from scratch! I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Hartford Old School House to any other parents. I’m so cheerful we found it for our boy! My son has been going to Hartford Old School House Day Nursery for the last 6 months, and absolutely loves it!

The team are lovely and they really do prepare the kids with all the self‑assurance and independence they need for when they move on to primary school. Both of our kids have been through this childcare centre, they’re outstanding and I can’t suggest them highly enough.

My little girl loves childcare centre. It has such a lovely family sense, every team member knows us when we drop off and pick up. The updates throughout the day are exceptional, really puts our minds at ease. Excellent.

The childcare centre has been outstanding in supporting both kids through transitions and through their discovering.
Both me and my partner adore that the childcare centre use a kid-led approach.

The team are supportive, nurturing and very experienced, offering a homely, secure and comfortable journey. Food is all cooked fresh in-house and sounds delicious. The range of activities available each day is imaginative and varied, and the childcare centre engages external personnel to offer additional activities too. We also use the out-of-school provision which is absolutely remarkable! From day one my daughter has run into childcare centre with a smile on her face and not looked back.
