Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port

We are blown away by the efforts the childcare centre goes to with events, like the door displays and chair but our favourite had to be the Christmas grotto! Our son still talks about the bear!
I am so pleased we chose Buttercups for our son, his little face changes when he knows its a childcare centre day. We have attended Buttercups since September 2021, our little boy has gone through the first three rooms of the childcare centre with ease and that is down to the incredible team team who have got to know myself but most importantly our son on such a personal level even down to the names of his comforters.
Nothing is ever too much to ask from the team at Buttercups, they are willing to help in anyway that they can and the manager goes above and beyond to make childcare centre life incredible for our son.

My son has been there for 2 years and he consistently comes home cheerful. The team are incredible, so attentive and attentive. We are into the last year now in pre-school and watching him learn and build his self‑assurance is a credit to the team that has led him on his journey.

The team are all really lovely and supportive, I was so worried about leaving my little boy for the first time when going back to work but everyone put my mind at rest straight away. He’s come on so much in the last few months and comes home with new skills and new words what feels like every week now which is incredible. The menu is excellent and really varied – there isn’t one meal my little boy hasn’t eaten in his whole time at Buttercups! It’s a really lovely homely setting and I really like that all the team know all the kids and parents. My little boy is so cheerful there, I adore that he goes in every morning smiling when he sees his key worker, I never have to worry while I’m at work as I know he’ll be having the best time with all his friends at Buttercups I cannot suggest Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port enough, my little boy started there in August 2022 and he’s settled right in and absolutely loves it.

Such a exceptional setting, from the incredible team to the delicious homemade food. I was hesitant of putting my little one into childcare centre at first, but Buttercups just made me sense at ease straight away. Thank you to all the team at Buttercups, especially for your dedicated care throughout this difficult year! My daughter has been going to Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port, since 7 months of age and is now nearly 2.

He’s 3 now and in preschool. He has come on leaps and bounds with his self‑assurance. It has a real family sense to it and all the team are fantastic. My little boy has been going here since he was 18 months old.

From the first visit they were warm and welcoming, they answered all my questions and engaged with my son on his settling in sessions. They gave him time to adjust and worked around his needs, he even gives a wave now when I leave which is so lovely. The best part of the day is picking him up and seeing a excellent big smile on his face and hearing all the things he has been doing. The Learning Journey is excellent as we can see pictures of him playing with other kids and just having enjoyable. As a parent it is hard to leave your kid and go back to work, but the team at Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port made it so much easier to do that.

Every room we have been in, the team have been incredible and gotten to know my kid as an individual. She has so much affection for the team which shows how well she is treated here. The manager is so great, accommodating, when possible, and I have never had an issue in over three years. I am actually going to be gutted when my little one leaves as they have never let me down and I know she loves being here! Really cheerful with this Nursery.

The provision is of the highest quality and the childcare centre manager and team go above and beyond to ensure that the kids have the best experiences possible. It is a joy to send my kid there and I can’t suggest them enough. Their attentive nature and attention to detail are just fantastic; for example, they have a lovely themed chair outdoors which they decorate regularly in addition to their fantastic rooms and spaces. The updates I receive from childcare centre team is thorough and it is a pleasure to be able to observe activities my kid has taken part in through the app. Staff go above and beyond to provide a range of first-hand experiences and my kid is making outstanding development with his fine/gross motor skills, language and updates and social skills as a result of attending the childcare centre. Any queries or questions I have are quickly dealt with and the childcare centre manager has the highest expectations. Buttercups Private Day Nursery is outstanding.

He has made a strong connection with his key worker and his face lights up when we say her name. Since starting the childcare centre he has come on so much. He is so much more confident. He comes home often with lovely art work. The food is remarkable, a different meal every day, nothing is ever the same. Would highly suggest Buttercups My son has been coming to Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port, since September.

The activities are tailored to not only the needs of the kids in the room but also the time of year they are in keeping a wide variety of activities going on for the kids. The team are very informative when they do drop off as to what has happened that day and the online journal is excellent to see. I would highly suggest. They also have an on-site chef who prepares the meals and menus! A lovely little childcare centre where the team care so much for their kids and everyone knows the kid’s names.
