Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Newbiggin

For almost a year, our little one has been going to Newbiggin Little Pioneers. She loves it, the staff are amazing with her, and we are kept up to date with everything throughout the day and have excellent and active communications about events, invoices and info from the office. Food essentials, toys and equipment all in. We have no concerns and feel at ease and happy for our girl being there on the days we are working. The nursery is very helpful to accommodate the odd extra days if we have training etc planned ahead. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Our child will be attending until she is of school age; she loves it that much.

Little Pioneers has been amazing since my little girl started in February. After only a few visits, she was smiling and eager to go in. All the staff are brilliant and communicate well throughout the day, putting us at ease. We are so grateful for everything they do and would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

My daughter really enjoys attending this nursery and has learnt alot here too. She enjoys doing activities and likes the garden space. The staff are always friendly during drop off and pick ups. I would recommend this nursery.

Since my son has moved up to the next classroom he has come on leaps and bounds and is doing amazing! He has become more confident and independent and seems to be enjoying going to nursery! Keep up the hard work.

Staff are knowledgeable about my child’s development and always offer support and ideas to help at home. My child gets so excited to attend nursery and enjoys all activities provided. Staff and management are always warm and welcoming towards me and my family.

Meals are always notorious and I’m always kept updated on anything nursery related. I feel safe leaving my child in their care. As a parent, I’m always invited to extra curriculum activities eg Mother’s Day breakfast, parent forums etc. Fantastic value for money. The app is easy to use and I’m able to check in on what my child’s up to whenever I want.

My child is happy when I drop her off and pick her up, the staff give amazing feedback, update me on the app all the time and always do lots of activities with her. They support her development as well as having fun and looking after them.

My son loves coming to this nursery. I love the updates I get and seeing the activities he gets up to. The app is really useful as I can check in and see what he has been up to during the day while I’m working. Can’t fault the nursery at all!

My child absolutely loves coming to this nursery. All of the staff are so lovely and welcoming and give a detailed handover on every pickup. There is such a positive atmosphere in the nursery from all the staff!
The only negative side is I feel the entrance has been neglected and is such an uninviting view when doing drop-offs. And this is a very small thing as everything else is amazing. Always recommending to friends and family.

My daughter has attended nursery and pre-school, starting in 2021. Although unable to visit for a tour, we had a virtual visit and the staff were so accommodating considering the COVID restrictions going on at that time. Since then, my daughter progressed through all the rooms, ending with pre-school. She took to nursery from the beginning and loved every minute. She made some good friends and absolutely loved her key worker. The team work so hard to prepare the children for school and nurture their interests. My daughter loved art and creative jobs, so her key worker would come up with ideas that she knew my daughter would enjoy. There was also many opportunities to visit nursery for Christmas fayre/summer fayre, Halloween parties and a mother’s day tea over the years as well as regular parents evenings. I can’t recommend this nursery highly enough. My daughter is so sad to leave, but I know she’s been given the best possible start.

The nursery has done a fantastic job with my son. His speech has come on leaps and bounds and often tells us about what he has been learning e.g. Volcanos. The staff are fantastic and always give a good handover of the time at the nursery. When I have had queries the management has been excellent at providing me information or following up on invoice queries.
