Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill

Tynemouth Nursery is such a brilliant place. It has provided a fantastic environment for learning and the staff are great!

We literally love everything to do with nursery! Activities, food, policies, but amongst all, the people! We know that our little monster is safe, cared for and in an environment of love! We cannot thank you all enough!

My son started here in January of this year. He settled in so easily due to the environment and the staff. As a parent, I love the homely environment of the rooms and felt it was better for my son rather than other nurseries. Daily updates on the app show thought-out and planned activities to help him meet his milestones and the food available is both healthy as well as diverse. I couldn’t be happier as a parent for my son to go here. It has allowed me to return to university confidently, knowing he is happy.

A very nurturing and friendly nursery. We felt comfortable leaving our daughter from the very first day as it felt so homely and welcoming. The extra activities, such as football and yoga, are brilliant. She has made incredible friends at nursery and is coming on in leaps and bounds in every way.

Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill is a fantastic place for my little one to grow and develop. They have the most amazing activities available to nurture learning through play. The staff have been so supportive and have lovely relationships with the children they care for.

We sent our first daughter to Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill and found it excellent then. So naturally, we are sending our second daughter and her care has been just as excellent. We love how much like family the staff feel. The facilities are second to none. I feel as though I am able to voice concerns and worries at any point and to any member of staff and that they are taken seriously. We love Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill and are glad it’s so close to us.

The full team at the nursery are always so accommodating. They always go above and beyond for the children and parents.

Our son always comes back from nursery with a big smile on his face having had a good time. The staff are friendly and always helpful, providing reviews of how the days have gone, but also insight into the development and learning aspect, which is amazing for us to hear.
Our son also has a food intolerance, which is managed amazingly by the staff, helping to diversify the types of foods he will eat.
With another child on the way, we will not hesitate to get them a spot here, and would highly recommend this nursery to any other parent!

I attended a stay-and-play today and my daughter and I had a great time. I was really impressed by the passion displayed by the staff and the range of activities on offer today. I really look forward to the next one.
I’m extremely happy with the progress my child is making at your nursery and the positive influence your staff are having on her. My child loves going to the nursery and talks enthusiastically about her time there.

Leaving a child with someone is always a nervous time for any parent or carer with the ‘what ifs’ leaving a child with SEN is even harder. But the whole team in Billy Mill have been so understanding, accommodating, and flexible. I cannot reiterate enough how inclusive they’ve made my son. His communication and understanding are hugely delayed but they’ve found ways to open up his communication, they’ve worked with his sensory processing, worked with him to keep his glasses on (a battle in its self), and worked on his strengths but also build on his weaknesses. I’ve worked with many nurseries through my role but Billy Mill are another level of professionalism, caring, and understanding and becoming part of the child’s extended family. Well done Billy Mill, take a bow.
