Incredible team who helped my daughter through her most difficult time, the time and effort from all the girls has been greatly appreciated.

November 13, 2024 at 4:50 pmWe have witnessed a vast improvement in our son’s ability from starting childcare centre and this is highly pleasing to see, as parents. He also loves his dinner from the chef too. All team are truly welcoming and comforting and myself and my partner would 100% suggest the childcare centre to anyone who needs childcare.

December 13, 2024 at 6:26 pmMy kid has truly come on attending childcare centre and has been provided with care/discovering which is suited to him. The meals he is given are great home cooked meals which has made him a less fussy eater. All the team are truly attentive and compassionate.

January 18, 2025 at 10:14 amHe started the childcare centre at just under 7 months old, and he has had an incredible journey so far (as have we). The team in the baby room have been nothing but supportive and have created such a fantastic bond with him. It was such a daunting journey leaving him with someone new, especially at such a young age, but the team and the whole childcare centre team have been nothing but remarkable. Myself and my wife consistently get thorough handovers about his day, and he consistently comes out with a huge smile on his face. The food provided sounds incredible, and my son consistently clears his plate. The outdoor area is like no other childcare centre we had visited. Would highly suggest Southfield to anyone looking for a homely childcare centre setting. My son has been attending the childcare centre since late April.

January 21, 2025 at 1:02 pmI picked this childcare centre not only the early opening time that fits in with my shift pattern, but the homely family feeling that I got when we had our first visit. All the team seem genuinely invested in the kids and their well-being. They constantly change the discovering experiences that are given to the kids, so they are never bored. All their meals are home-cooked and have a excellent variety. My kids are highly much outdoor kids regardless of the weather. The outdoor space this childcare centre has is excellent. They promote time outside and take the kids on walks away from the childcare centre, which is consistently planned to have an educational link. I consistently sense highly informed of my kids’s development with the updates on the app linked to the early years foundations. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the childcare centre has adapted to the ‘new normal’ to ensure team and kids secure whilst maintaining a level of normality. My kids have attended this childcare centre for a couple of years.

February 21, 2025 at 10:11 pmWe chose this childcare centre as it instantly felt secure and like a home from home. All the team are highly welcoming and supportive. Our kids adore attending, adore all of the daily activities and have a bond with all of the lovely team there. Our daughter has additional needs – thanks to the childcare centre this was picked up quickly and referrals were made for early intervention. We will forever be grateful for this as our daughter has all the extra help/assistance in place that she needs. Both of our kids (daughter 3 years old and son 17 months old) have attended Southfield from 10 months old.

We are consistently kept up to date with what he’s been up to when he’s been there and get photos sent to us on the app where his development is also monitored, which is incredible! Couldn’t suggest Southfield Day Childcare centre more! Our son is 21-months and absolutely loves going to childcare centre.

March 7, 2025 at 4:33 pmThe childcare centre nurses are all lovely and welcoming and excellent with my kid. When he first started Southfield, he was nervous and shy, but once he realised how much enjoyable he was going to be having when he was there, he was fine! The team are so attentive and make sure he is ok when he arrives, and it’s excellent to know at the end of each day how he has been. You consistently get a detailed explanation of everything they’ve done throughout the day. The app platform is also remarkable – I can see what he has been discovering and how much he is enjoying his day. The team also provide home discovering activities through the app, and as a family, we have enjoyed doing these. I and my husband were particularly impressed with my son’s use of Makaton. He can’t say “thank you” but will automatically use the Makaton sign to say thank you to us when we give him something. This is down to the team at Southfield! I have found Southfield Day Childcare centre to be an outstanding provider of childcare.

The time he spends at the childcare centre is both educational and enjoyable, with a variety of activities and games. They also recognise and celebrate special traditions, such as Christmas parties, Easter egg decorating competitions, Chinese New Year, and world book day, which all make special memories for kids. There is a remarkable variety of food all freshly cooked. The team are all highly welcoming and approachable, whilst remaining expert. I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough to anyone thinking of sending their kid. I can’t speak highly enough of this childcare centre and all of the team.

March 25, 2025 at 12:11 amSouthfield was our son’s first journey of being away from home and he made incredible development from the first moment he stepped in the door. He truly loved going to Childcare centre and on the days he wasn’t attending would wake up and ask if it was Childcare centre today. He made friends and all of the team he met were incredible with him. We would like to thank everyone at Southfields for the hard work and care taken to keep kids, team and parents secure during Covid. Hope to see you all again soon. Our little boy was only at Southfield for four months but he had an absolutely exceptional time, mum and dad can’t suggest it highly enough.

March 29, 2025 at 2:51 amThe team truly care about the kids. My son fitted in almost instantly and generally gets excited to go to childcare centre. His speech and general playing have come on excellent since he started here. As a kid, who can be picky with food, he consistently eats all his meals and tells me about the childcare centre curry all the time. After moving my son from a poor childcare centre to this childcare centre, the differences was phenomenal.

Grandson truly enjoys the food served and makes a beeline to his high chair as soon as he arrives. I have high self‑assurance in him being well looked after when in childcare centre. Also appreciate the regular notifications and photographs supplied via the app. Great job everyone. Grandson loves attending childcare centre.

The main reasons I chose this childcare centre for our kid:
Large, playful outdoor space.
Welcoming, welcoming and well‑informed team.
Remarkable range of food available on the menu.
This is our 2nd kid, we had our 1st kid in a couple of other nurseries, and Southfield is by far the best journey we have had with a childcare centre. Our little one is so cheerful to go in, and we never have any tears; he’s settled in so well and so quickly.
Highly suggest! Remarkable day childcare centre!

The team are excellent and have a excellent bond with him. He loves playing outside, and they have excellent. Would highly suggest Southfield.

May 12, 2025 at 11:06 amHe has so much enjoyable doing the exceptional activities they organise every day, and we can see how much this has helped his self‑assurance, development and speech. The team are remarkable, incredibly welcoming and attentive, and I sense highly secure leaving my kid with them every day. We have lots of updates with the childcare centre and are kept up to date with everything our little boy has done that day, including nappies, meals, activities, bottles etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Southfield to any other parent. My little boy has been going to Southfield for almost a year now; he started when he was 8.5-months-old and has genuinely loved every day he has spent there.

My son has delayed speech but every time he comes home from childcare centre we are getting more and more from him, and he loves it there.
A special thank you to the manager and her team who have been there from day 1 and have truly helped us settle in. I sense truly comfortable leaving my son there (which is a rarity for me) and they are consistently available on email and over the phone if you need anything.
Huge shout out to the cook as well, she’s so excellent and the kids get fed so well!
I’m so pleased we found Southfield. I would highly suggest Southfield Childcare centre.

June 27, 2025 at 1:29 pmI had visited a few nurseries before I decided to choose Kids Planet. The deciding factors were the team, facilities and location and I would say the price is fair too. When my son sees his key worker, his face lights up, they clearly have a excellent relationship. All the team are lovely. The childcare centre has an app with restricted access where I can access pictures of my son playing throughout the day while I am at work. They document on the app when he naps, nappy changes, meals (compliments to the chef), and achievements. They are also highly great at spotting when he is unwell. I had to write a review today because last night my son was in such a great mood after being at childcare centre all day, he clearly had a excellent day at childcare centre. It took a few months for him to settle in. He literally went to bed giggling. It’s a credit to the childcare centre. He was excited to go to the childcare centre and was highly cheerful when my husband picked him up. I am so pleased we chose Kids Planet. Choosing a childcare centre was daunting.
