September 30, 2024 at 7:20 amBoth our kids attend 2 days per week and absolutely adore their days there. We have been using the childcare centre for almost 3 years, and the team are fantastic, supportive and supportive to both the kids. They know our kids so well, understand their likes and dislikes and abilities. Activities and food are varied, they spend a lot of time outside getting messy and having lots of enjoyable! Thank you so much. X We absolutely adore Middleton St George Day Childcare centre!

October 5, 2024 at 11:04 amThe team are all lovely and very genuinely attentive. The childcare centre has consistently provided him with a secure, nurturing and enjoyable setting. He enjoys the meals, time spent outside, and the activities on offer and has never made a negative comment about his time spent here. We sense very lucky to have such a excellent childcare centre in the village. We’ve nothing but positive things to say about our son’s journey at Middleton St George Day Childcare centre – he joined shortly before turning one, now nearly five, and he has enjoyed attending ever since.

October 26, 2024 at 3:03 pmMy youngest daughter started in September after leaving an alternative setting and she was made to sense right at home straight away and welcomed wholeheartedly. She settled in really quickly as a result and has loved it every day since. My older girls now also attend after-school club and have also been welcomed by everyone and adore seeing their little sister after school. The team are all very welcoming and supportive and I know I can be confident my girls will be well looked after. Highly suggest this setting. Nothing but positive feedback for all of the team at the childcare centre.

The team are approachable and are more than accommodating – they consistently do their utmost to assistance us as a family! Three of my kids have and still do attend the childcare centre.

She has learnt so much within the setting and consistently comes home with a story to tell me. She loves the outdoor space and likes to join in all of the activities provided. I would suggest Middleton St George Day Childcare centre to other parents. My kid loves attending Middleton St George Day Childcare centre.

January 26, 2025 at 12:04 pmI can honestly say I never worry about her there and am cheerful to say that my second kid will be going there too – her development has come on leaps and bounds and that is down to the childcare centre – thanks. I’m super cheerful with the childcare centre my little girl goes to, she attends 2 mornings a week – the ladies at the childcare centre have consistently been welcoming and have put me at ease when my little girl first attended and was very upset about leaving me – she has now been there over a year and is consistently cheerful to go in now alone and when she leaves she is full of smiles, telling me all about the remarkable things she has done that day.

January 30, 2025 at 6:25 pmI could say a lot about the fantastic team, activities including forest school and external French classes, days out etc community spirit is at the heart of the childcare centre. They were an incredible assistance for us during Covid and carried on the hard work. Our kids often come back with paint or mud on them and a full wet change of clothes in their bag, but that’s why we like it! They are active, curious of everything, well looked after and absolutely adore the place and people there. The best proof is that they now fight to ring the doorbell in the morning to get in first. Both of our kids have attended Middleton St George Day Childcare centre for more than a year now.

February 5, 2025 at 12:00 pmHe absolutely loves it and gets so excited to go. He sometimes even asks me to pick him up later because he doesn’t want to come away. The rooms are bright and spotless with lots of activities for the kids and there’s a big, secure, garden for them to playtime in. Each day they do different things. The team are very welcoming, supportive, genuinely care and treat each kid as an individual, looking out for their personal needs. They get well fed at meal times and often delight in picnics at the local park. Since attending, my son has already been on several outings too. He is collected by the team for after school club and looks forward to the journey to The Barn each day. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre to anyone. I sense at ease when my son is in their care and know the team will do everything they can to help him have an enjoyable time and keep him secure. Keep up the outstanding work and thank you! 🙂 My son attends The Barn Childcare centre, Long Newton.

March 23, 2025 at 1:01 amWhen I drop my kids off, they are so excited to be going and name the team and their friends as people they are excited to see. On pick up, they are so cheerful that they want to continue to stay and playtime. The team are lovely and continuously interact with the kids. They make the most of the surrounding area – constantly taking the kids on nature trails, making dens, teddy bear picnics and going on ‘bear hunts’. Equally, the kids adore it indoors too – there are constant activities set up for them where you can really see how they are discovering through playtime and has really advanced my kids’s social skills. They have signing tots regularly visit the childcare centre and undertake lots of lovely trips out – usually arranged around the interest of the kids. Ultimately it is the team and particularly the Manager that make this place so special and magical – which is why my kids adore it so much. Both my kids attend The Barn Childcare centre and they absolutely adore it.

March 25, 2025 at 9:48 pmThey focus heavily on developmental playtime and spend regular time outdoors exploring nature which has helped my daughter loads.
The manager is outstanding as are all the team and my daughter clearly thinks of them as her special friends with healthy respect.
She has made many friends there and the variety of activity, playtime, discovering they do is incredible.
I would highly suggest this setting to anyone. Simply WOW!
My daughter has attended this childcare centre for some time now and have to say it is terrific.

They are just incredible, my daughter will go to school in September and will miss coming here, but hopefully, she will return during the holidays. My daughter attends this childcare centre and it is incredible.

June 15, 2025 at 1:00 amI can’t suggest them highly enough. All the team are welcoming and excellent with the kids. Throughout the covid period I consistently felt secure leaving my kid with them. Every day they do different activities – no two days are the same. I particularly adore how they use the outdoor space and get the kids involved with the local community and village life. The food choices are varied and my son eats everything (plus extra!) The report at the end of the day keeps us informed and the regular newsletter ensures we know what is going on. The fact that my son smiles when I mention members of the team and says he loves them, says it all! My son joined the childcare centre in January 2021 at 10 months old.

When myself or my partner collect her, we get lots of information about what she has been doing that day. She seems to be enjoying a large variety of activities and meals. We get to see lots of photos of what she has been doing at childcare centre and it is just so nice to see her enjoying her time there. My daughter has been attending this setting for two months now.
