Clever Clogs Day Nursery (Belmont)

Our son has been attending full-time at Clever Clogs Day Nursery for the past year, always seems to be taking part in lots of activities, he’s made lots of friends and enjoys his time there. We also use their after school club for our older daughter and the pick up service is very convenient.

Brilliant nursery for my daughter, she has developed a lot since being here. She is more independent and her speech has come on so fast. Great staff and very welcoming. Thank you for everything you do for my daughter.

I have had the most wonderful experience with Clever Clogs Day Nursery (Belmont). We relocated across the country with our son (now 2) so starting nursery was a lot for him to take on, as well as our move.
The staff at Clever Clogs were and continue to be friendly, kind, caring and patient. Every single member of staff takes the time to talk to my son or myself when in the nursery. If I have any questions, no matter how silly, I am listened to and things are put into action quickly. My son has settled really well and the communication from the nursery is fantastic. The rooms are tailored to each age group and the facilities/activities my son has access to are fantastic, really fun and immersive yet educational. He has learnt so much and has become so confident and happy and a lot of that is down to the care and education he is given at nursery. We would recommend Clever Clogs to anyone! And I can’t thank them enough for being a part of helping us settle into our new life In County Durham.

My daughter spent 3 years at the nursery and went to school knowing all her numbers and writing her name, thanks to the staff which provide valuable learning experiences. Her little brother has now started attending the nursery and is full of joy when joining every day. Lovely staff!

We use the Clever Clogs after-school club and our daughter was at their toddler and pre-school childcare before that. The after-school care is great, our daughter loves it and is always happy when we book extra sessions! The children are well-looked after, and there’s always lots to do or just time to chill if that’s how they’re feeling after school. The parents’ app helps us keep up to date with what’s happening and to see the different things that they’re getting up to. Would recommend.

Clever Clogs is a brilliant nursery, that both of my children of different ages attend and they both love going to this setting. They have not been there for long but from their settling-in visits to their first full day, all of the staff team could not have been more welcoming and reassured me as a parent that they are in safe hands. The staff always go out of their way and can not do enough for both of my children, this could be anywhere from simply giving them a cuddle when they are feeling sad to planning fun-filled learning opportunities through activities for both of my children to investigate and explore and meet their individual targets and goals. I always look forward to getting notified during the day on their main highlight and especially love to see how happy their faces look when receiving photos. I would highly recommend Clever Clogs at Belmont to anyone who is looking for an excellent nursery where the children are the main focus!

I have just recently registered my child to Clever Clogs as her previous nursery suddenly closed. My reasons for choosing this nursery, as it is out of my area, was because of a member of staff from her old nursery who transferred over to this nursery. She is one in a million! She is amazing with children and has fantastic relationships with parents and staff! My daughter has autism and the member of staff has excellent skills to manage her needs effectively and is totally worth the travel there and back every day! The management team have also been extremely helpful and supportive during this transition and for this I can’t thank them enough. The nursery setting is beautiful and very professionally ran. I am really happy with my choice and feel at ease knowing my little girl will be happy there! Thank you.

I can’t speak highly enough of Clever Clogs Day Nursery. I have a 14 month old who has attended since he was 9 months old and I was very nervous about leaving him. He is so happy and settled and the girls are wonderful with him. I nearly decided not to go back to work but finding Clever Clogs made the decision much easier and I’m so glad that I did. He has come on leaps and bounds.

My daughter started the nursery in February 2023. From the initial visit to the nursery I was put at ease by the staff members, they really have a good understanding of child development and how you can support your children at home.
The garden is lovely and my daughter has had lots of fun playing in the mud kitchen and the forest school outdoor area.
Nothing is ever an issue for the management or staff.
A home away from home for my daughter and the rest of the family.

My child has attended fun club during the holidays and what a great club this is for the children. There are some great activities daily and the staff are amazing.
This really gave me peace of mind each day bringing my child to Clever Clogs Day Nursery (Belmont).
