Acklam Children's Day Nursery

Fantastic nursery. All the staff are lovely and very experienced. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere when I drop my daughter off in the morning. The premises is safe and clean for all the children and has a brilliant outdoor space for them to play. My daughter loves it and that makes it better for me knowing that she’s having a great time while I am at work. I look forward to my updates from what she has been doing at nursery through the app which is also great.

My children have been at the nursery for almost a year now. They have loved every day they have gone. The staff are so kind, to both me and my kids. They have a gorgeous outdoor space and lots of resources for indoor play. I have never had a single problem here. The staff update you about your children every day when you pick them up and my children are always so excited to tell me about how much fun they’ve had. Genuinely faultless.

I cannot recommend Acklam enough. My youngest has been coming to Nursery for a year now, following 3 fabulous years for my eldest, and we genuinely feel like part of a family. Being a lockdown baby, I was really worried about how she would settle in. The staff were amazing giving us as many settling-in sessions as we needed (not as many as I expected) and after only a few weeks it felt like she had always been there. Looking back now it seems strange she would ever not settle, as she loves nursery so much quite often she doesn’t want to come home with me! The staff are fabulous, the outside area for the elder children “gruffallo wood” is perfect for outdoor adventures for tiny people. Great management and staff, who need recognising for navigating through the last 2 crazy years of lockdowns with huge smiles on their faces. My little girl is about to move up from baby room to Tweenies, and I look forward to seeing what she gets up to next.

Highly recommend Acklam nursery. My daughter started last September and has additional needs and requires a lot of support and staff have been fantastic and go above and beyond.

Really good nursery my son loves all the staff. They really make time for each individual child and I’ve always suffered with major anxiety when it comes to who has my child but I trust the staff 100%. Couldn’t thank them enough.

My daughter has been going for 6 months since July 2022. She settled straight away because the staff are so welcoming and so supportive, they are incredible. Highly recommended to all my friends when looking for childcare providers.

My little boy joined the nursery in 2022 and I can honestly say picking them was the best decision we could have made. He is so happy and has come on more than I could have imagined. The team there are not only there for the kids either and have found them amazing in supporting me too. Just fab!

My daughter has been in this nursery now since 2021 and she really enjoys going. Her confidence and development has grown. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and let you know how she has been on a daily basis. I would definitely highly recommend this nursery and proud my daughter attends there.

Have had two children go through Acklam Children’s Day Nursery now. The staff genuinely care about the children, they know them as individuals and know them well. The staff have been wonderfully supportive while my youngest has had some ongoing health issues and have looked after us as a family. The children have both thrived throughout their time at Acklam and love being there. The only thing that could be slightly better is their use of communication apps/ IT, as it would be nice to see a bit more of what they both do there, but staff are very brilliant at handovers and whenever we’ve asked anything they are straight on it!
