My son absolutely thrived at Carlton Hill Childcare centre & Pre-School, he started as a highly shy 11-month-old and blossomed into a cheerful, intelligent and confident toddler. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Remarkable childcare centre with team that genuinely care for the kids.

Our daughter has been there from 8 months of age to 3 and a half.
She has thrived and truly felt secure and loved in what was truly like another family for her. We cannot thank enough the excellent team (the director and administrator) and of course the fantastic educators she’s had throughout the years!
Carlton Hill Childcare centre is located inside a lovely house, but the greatest thing is the outside space, with a highly large garden. This allows all kids to be outside when it’s sunny: the babies have a secure, separate space to playtime, while the bigger kids can delight in activities like gardening or discovering animal life.
Carlton Hill Childcare centre also provided regular feedback and information: photos and descriptions of activities on an app and a detailed one-to-one meeting with the main teacher every year. We were amazed at everything our daughter learnt there! I cannot suggest Carlton Hill Childcare centre enough.

The team and educators are exceptionally compassionate, nurturing and receptive to your kids’s needs. Our son attended when he turned 1 year old, and the transition was seamless. It soon got to a stage where he was excited to go every morning and sad to leave at the end of the day. They also offer healthy meals, which is truly convenient, and have a truly nice outdoor space for the kids to playtime around so they don’t have to leave the childcare centre. Overall we were highly cheerful with the development we saw in our son, and most importantly, he appeared to be cheerful every day and well-nourished and taken care of. Special mentions to his key worker, and the head of the childcare centre for consistently keeping an eye out for him. Overall we would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone living in the area. We, unfortunately, had to move our son after a while due to practical reasons and were quite sad about it. We wish the team all the highly best! Carlton Hill Childcare centre is a fabulous little childcare centre in St John’s Wood area.

It has been a attentive, supportive and stimulating setting for our kid. We appreciate the variety of activities: reading of books in literacy, planting in science, messy playtime, water and sand trays. My son especially loved the big garden at the back of the big building with lots of bicycles, tricycles and scooters. I was pleased he did not have to walk anywhere to delight in outdoor playtime. The food is also well balanced and nutritious. The educators are all outstanding and have an in-depth knowledge of kids in the early years. It was consistently so nice to enter the school where all the educators greeted my kid by his name. My kid developed in leaps and bounds – a kid who came in with separation anxiety to leaving feeling cheerful and confident and well prepared to move on to a new school. Words and reviews cannot say enough about this childcare centre. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot you won’t be disappointed! We have absolutely loved our journey at LEYF Carlton Hill Childcare centre & Pre-School.

The care, attention and nurturing from team and management were exceptional. My daughter began to develop her personality and thrive with the help of her carers.

All educators and team are highly attentive and welcoming, we sense like we are part of family there. Our daughter started at 7 months and from the beginning, we were made to sense at ease when settling her in. We are informed every day about our daughter’s development and general daily routine.
She is highly cheerful there and seems to delight in all activities. We can see enormous development since she joined and this is all thanks to the outstanding team at Carlton Hill Community Childcare centre. I would thoroughly suggest the childcare centre to anyone. The team at Carlton Hill, in all the different rooms, have been attentive and compassionate and have made our son into the cheerful and confident boy he is today. Throughout his time at childcare centre, he loved the garden where they did playing, gardening and even marshmallow toasting. I would highly suggest the childcare centre to anyone. The outdoor space is second to none and the team is attentive. The management is outstanding and we have noticed continuous improvements to the childcare centre and the program they implement over the seven years our kids were there. The childcare centre could do with a refurbishment, but everything is kept spotless. We sense that the comprehensive program truly contributed to our kids’s development. Two of our kids went to Carlton Hill and both went on to outstanding schools.

He has learned highly great updates and social skills, developed great interaction with kids and created friends. It would be excellent and useful for more frequent updates on kid’s development and discovering focus at the preschool room as this is a highly important stage in kids’s start of discovering journey. Carlton Hill Community Childcare centre has been a highly attentive setting for my son since he was 10 months old.
