September 16, 2024 at 6:31 amIt was a highly sad day when our son left the childcare centre. From the beginning, the team at Katherine Bruce welcomed our family with excellent openness and kindness. They were exceptionally great at introducing our son to the pre-school and its daily routines, helping him to overcome an early period where he was unsettled. During his time at the childcare centre, our son grew hugely in self‑assurance and made a number of friendships with other kids; he also got into a great routine with going to the toilet. His ‘key person’, and all the other educators were highly great at finding the kids interesting things to do. They organised several great trips, including one to see a fire station, a ‘Gruffalo’ playtime and a picnic in the park. We would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre to other parents. Our son was only at this childcare centre for a few months, but only because we decided to move house away from the area.

October 30, 2024 at 9:16 amYou immediately sense part of a community and we have build close friendships with parents, kids of all ages and the educators; which we will miss hugely once my daughter moves on this coming September.
The facilities are excellent, the outdoor space is used daily offering the kids a varied and active day. Kids are often invited and encouraged to visit other classrooms, which encourages their understanding of the wider society, gentility around little ones and ability to learn from older kids.
We couldn’t suggest Katharine Bruce Childcare centre & Pre-School more and it’s a testament to the excellent management team as well as a wealth of journey across all room leads, many of who have been with the childcare centre for many years. My daughter has been attending since she was one and a half years old and has loved coming in every morning, welcomed by the whole team and her peers.

December 1, 2024 at 4:56 amOur son started when he was just a year old in the middle of the pandemic, and he’s now a bit over three years old and loves it. The team truly go above and beyond to care for the kids and teach them! Our son has learned so much there, from table manners to painting, sharing with others, and the importance of tidying up. The educators are super welcoming; they consistently have time for the kids and any concerns they or we have. They consistently greet us by our names (how on earth do they remember the parents’ names too?!) and make us sense so comfortable. When I drop my son off, I know he’s going to have a enjoyable-filled day with plenty of nutritious food. Managers make sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently and with adore. We are highly sad that we must leave in a year’s time. My husband and I are totally enamoured by this childcare centre.

My nephew likes the team and is setting well and enjoys it there.
If there are any problems, they’ll consistently let me know.

January 28, 2025 at 4:50 amIt’s a fantastic secure place with attentive team who do a lot for the kids. They have a lot to do, great food and are well taken care of. She has a excellent relationship with her key workers and will be sad to leave to go to school this year. I would highly suggest. Our daughter has been going to this childcare centre for two and a half years.

The activities that they do for the kids are excellent and interactive and they ensure they keep the parents up to date via the app so you have peace of mind. I’m highly cheerful that my daughter loves this childcare centre and that she’s developing her skills there so I would highly suggest it to any new parents in the area. Our daughter started at Katharine Bruce at 10 months and has loved everyone there since the beginning!

My daughter loves the educators highly much and the educators are highly approachable for parents/guardians as well. My journey of the childcare centre has been terrific and I would definitely suggest to others. Since joining the childcare centre my daughter has developed in so many ways.

The childcare centre and pre-school fosters a culturally rich and intellectually engaging setting. The team are hard-working and observant, and I consistently sense certain my daughter is in secure and attentive hands. I couldn’t imagine her growing up anywhere else, and I thank the team for all they have done. I sense highly lucky we found Katherine Bruce Childcare centre and Pre-School and I sense privileged our daughter has been cared for and mentored by such fantastic people.

The team at Katharine Bruce have loved her, nurtured her and she has developed incredibly in her self‑assurance and personality. Our daughter is completing her final couple of months at Katharine Bruce Childcare centre & Pre-School before she heads off to reception.

The team feels like family, and the management is run highly well and anything I needed was met with prompt responses. My daughter has developed so much in her time here. I truly suggest this childcare centre. The outdoor area is particularly large which I felt was excellent. Overall 5 star childcare centre. I absolutely loved this childcare centre from the moment we came for a visit.

We are continuously amazed at the professionalism and kindness of the team, they are creative, pragmatic, skilful, and the best childcare we could have wished for. Our elder kid was perfectly prepared to start reception, academically as well as in terms of educational framework. Our youngest one is thriving with all the activities the team carefully plans. The series of events they put together, from seasonal and festive celebrations to the kids’s graduation ceremonies are delightful and testament to the care they put into ensuring both kids and parents are having the best early years journey. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team at Katherine Bruce! One of our kids has just started reception after 3 years at Katharine Bruce Childcare centre & Pre-School, and we have another in their 2-3 year old class.

June 7, 2025 at 9:25 amI cannot fault the childcare centre team. They have been loving, sensitive and attentive from the highly first moment we joined the childcare centre. There is a truly inviting atmosphere, and some of the team have been at the childcare centre for over 20 years. They have excellent outside space too. My son has attended the childcare centre since he was nine months old.

June 9, 2025 at 3:05 amThere is little team turnover which truly helps build the trust and he is building his emotional intelligence as well as preparing key learnings for school. Our daughter just started there at 9 months old and is already highly excited to go every morning. It truly is a 5 star childcare centre, highly suggest. Our son started at childcare centre right in the middle of COVID when he turned one and has continued ever since, he absolutely loves it there and across all the rooms, he has consistently been surrounded by loving team members.

Our boy will be moving on to school in September and we will truly miss his adventures at the childcare centre! We are exceptionally cheerful at Katharine Bruce Childcare centre and Pre-School!

My evaluation of the educators is 100% and the administration is 200%.
My daughter started the childcare centre at the age of one year in June 2022 because I was reassured after my journey of them with my son and made sure that my daughter was in secure hands
All thanks to all the team for providing a comfortable setting for kids and parents, and I wish you success consistently. My son started childcare centre at 2 years old in January 2021 and it was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
