The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools Ltd (Chillerton Road)

The team come up with an endless array of clever activities for the kids to learn about the world. There are additional physical education, mindfulness and French classes that the kids can opt into. The food is cooked on-site, healthy, diversified and highly tasty. The attention and care the team provide to my son is truly outstanding.

I have two kids attending the childcare centre and both have settled highly well and thrived at every stage of their time here. Regardless of which unit your kid is in all team know all kids and genuinely care about their well-being. The Eveline Day and Childcare centre provides a excellent, loving, educational setting for its kids.

The settling in period was spread over two weeks and was highly carefully managed which gave me comfort but also, most importantly, allowed my son to get used to it gradually. The managers are visible and exceptionally involved in the day to day care of the kids. This was a pleasant surprise and reassuring. My son’s key carer is remarkable with him, his face lights up when he sees her in the morning and I sense confident she looks after him well. The food also is nutritious and home cooked and they avoid sugary desserts. My son has been attending The Eveline Day Childcare centre (Chillerton Road) for four months and loves it.

The childcare centre provides a secure, welcoming and loving setting for my kids. All of the team go the extra mile to care for the kids and give them a lot of adore and assistance in all stages of their development, we absolutely adore them and in fact, my daughter regularly tells me how much she loves her key worker.

The kids learn so much not just educationally but also socially and all provided by these incredible members of team. The childcare centre gives them the best start before going to school.

This childcare centre is fantastic and I wouldn’t have been cheerful to put my kids anywhere else. My daughter is currently at Eveline Day Childcare centre, Chillerton Road and my son has previously been at this childcare centre also.

They had a highly comprehensive settling in programme and the team clearly adore kids. This doesn’t sense like just a “job” to them. My daughter is truly cheerful here and so am I. Having had to return to work early from maternity leave, it was hard for me to sense comfortable leaving my 5 month old with other people but from the highly beginning, the childcare centre has been incredible.

We were initially attracted by its outstanding local reputation, but also by the open-plan layout. I loved that my little one could see all the others and similarly that everyone could see her. It has a feeling of openness that many other nurseries lacked that comes partly from the setting but also from the atmosphere that this creates. It is quite a small childcare centre compared to some others nearby and that appealed to us, as a result, our daughter seems to know all the team, the kids and their parents! She is discovering and developing highly well, advanced for her age.
It’s a smaller thing, but when they eat 3 meals a day there, I like that the food is freshly prepared on site. Quality and freshness of those meals matter.
Overall our daughter loves it there. So much so that her favourite game to playtime at home is ‘childcare centre’ and we have to pretend to be her favourite members of team – that alone should be a testimonial! We have been highly pleased with The Eveline Day and Childcare centre Schools.

The team are all so welcoming and engaging to her but also to the rest of the family at drop off/pick up. She has allergies and they have been truly clear and thorough in their policies around this, giving us excellent self‑assurance in their care. She has lots of enjoyable because they do a range of activities and regularly playtime outside. It is so lovely now she has enough language to share at home with us a bit more of her childcare centre experiences (and the songs she’s learnt). My daughter is incredibly cheerful at Seely Hall and is consistently asking when she is going next!
