They managed the Covid situation exceptionally well and we haven’t had any bad journey with the childcare centre and our son will be joining in September. My daughter has been at the childcare centre for over two years now and has loved every minute.

He seems truly cheerful whenever we see him in the setting, and we receive daily updates by the fantastic team who keep us informed on the kids’s activities, our son’s milestones and how we can help him develop further. The team are truly attentive and the activities they propose are consistently varied and well thought out. We are highly cheerful to have chosen Magdalen Childcare centre for our son!

Because of the size, you truly get a strong sense of community with the other families. We adore Magdalen, excellent room sizes, excellent activities for the kids and all the team are fantastic!

Moreover, they have created a vibrant community of carers and parents, which reaches beyond the childcare centre itself. Excellent childcare centre.

December 2, 2024 at 7:44 amHe moved up from one class to another about nine months ago, and all of his educators have been fantastic.
He has developed so much during this time, thanks to his educators. They have been loving, attentive but also highly great at pushing him to learn more. I have been so impressed with things he has done or said multiple times, purely because he learned those in childcare centre.
The childcare centre feels like a small family, where all the team knows every kid’s name. I adore going in with my son and hearing so many people greet him. They have a lot of activities, toys and books.
The management are supportive and highly responsive. They have been guiding us through the challenges of Covid and multiple changes to the procedures.
Overall, I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My son, who is almost three, has been going to Magdalen for 18 months.

All of the room leaders have been stellar – dedicated and compassionate. The management team have also been excellent.
There are often exciting things happening – animal visits, themed days, parties etc and the team truly get into it.
We are having a second kid soon and will certainly be hoping to send her to Magdalen as well! Our son has been at Magdalen Lodge for about 1 and a half years.
We have been exceptionally pleased with the childcare centre throughout.
The settling in period was hard for our son but all of the team truly made an effort to help him get comfortable with the new routine.

January 24, 2025 at 5:23 amBoth started in the baby room and have worked their way up over time – supported all the way and progressing with their small group of friends. The key worker assistance, levels of daily updates and development, nutrition, activities and sense of community are remarkable – with the small setting it also is a excellent way to get to know many of the other parents and kids too which provides a excellent basis for preparation for school. Both of my kids are currently attending Magdalen Childcare centre The Lodge and have had an outstanding level of care.

I get regular reports on my son’s development suggesting areas that I can focus on to help his growth; these run parallel to the discovering at childcare centre so it truly is a team and “wider-family” effort.
The team have been fantastic at nurturing my son’s strengths and are truly encouraging to help him flourish in the area of sports – there is a large outdoor area and they have helped him with balancing, climbing, scooting and golf. They are focused on healthy meals and our son is a cheerful eater; he is comfortable trying lots of different foods at our family meal times: I believe this is down to the variety of food that he is offered at Magdalen. We are amazed at what he learn’s each week and would highly suggest Magdalen to any parent. Magdalen, you are incredible! Thank you. Magdalen Childcare centre is a fantastic place for kids to learn, grow and thrive.

February 20, 2025 at 5:13 pmMy daughter has been attending for the last eight months and loves every minute (she sometimes doesn’t want to come home with mummy!). She joined just after turning one and the team helped her to settle in and sense at home truly quickly. They are compassionate, loving and fully committed to the kids. They put so much effort into different activities and are attentive, attentive and patient. They must be exhausted at the end of every day – we truly appreciate everything they do. My husband and I sense so comfortable leaving our daughter in their care. Magdalen is a unique childcare centre – both in the care it provides the kids and the quality of its team.

My son has strong bonds with his key workers, is cheerful to go there every day, misses his educators when he is not there and has made lovely friends. I couldn’t ask for more. We’ll both be highly sorry to leave when he starts school. My three-year-old has been at Magdalen Childcare centre – The Lodge for eighteen months and I couldn’t be happier with the care he receives.

May 19, 2025 at 6:21 amThere is a real family sense about it and our kids have been so well looked after, developing lovely relationships with all the team. It truly feels like the team care about your kids and their happiness and development.
We adore the cosy rooms as well as the excellent outdoor space which is fairly rare in London nurseries. They are also remarkable at uploading pictures/videos of activities which is a excellent insight into what the kids get up to! In summary, we truly couldn’t be happier with the setting We have had an absolutely remarkable journey at The Lodge with both our kids.

Keep us all up to date on covid policies and if there are any chicken pox outbreaks etc. Our daughter is highly cheerful there. Highly great childcare centre, with lots of enjoyable and educational toys.

June 5, 2025 at 5:46 pmThis is our second kid to have attended and he is so cheerful in this setting. The team are fantastic and every day they do different and enjoyable activities. The food sounds delicious and they organise lots of different events to see and interact with your kids (Covid allowing).
The childcare centre itself has a lovely garden which the kids adore and they seem to spend a lot of time playing outside which is remarkable!
In the older rooms, they truly help develop your kid and get them ready for school.
I couldn’t suggest the Lodge highly enough. We absolutely adore The Lodge.

They are all highly responsive and provide regular detailed updates on kids’s development. It’s a relatively small childcare centre which gives it a real family sense where everyone is made to sense welcome. We will consistently be grateful to the childcare centre for how they helped our little ones settle in and for everything they have done for them since. This is such an incredible childcare centre!
