September 3, 2024 at 12:45 pmShe is excited every time we approach the gates which brings a lot of relief to a first-time mother! The team are diligent, attentive, and enthusiastic. The level of feedback on a daily basis is fantastic and the range of activities they put on throughout the term are creative, entertaining, and educational, even for the youngest kids. We are incredibly cheerful with the childcare centre as a whole. Our daughter joined the childcare centre in Sept 2021 just before her 1st birthday and we have seen her grow with self‑assurance and ability since that day.

Having recently moved up to the preschool class I am truly impressed with how my daughter’s self‑assurance has grown.
The kids playtime outside throughout the year, whatever the weather, which I think is remarkable.
My second daughter is starting at the childcare centre next year – we couldn’t suggest it more highly. My daughter has been at The Cottage for just under one year and is so cheerful there.
The team are all remarkable and all the kids seem to delight in it.
The facilities are outstanding, especially bearing in mind the limited space as the childcare centre is quite small.

November 29, 2024 at 8:54 pmThe team are excellent, they are highly attentive and keen on kids’s development. A highly great range of enjoyable and discovering activities, they also have external professionals joining for dance classes, and take kids out to the park even though they have a lovely big garden. We continuously see development in our son’s behaviour and development thanks to the childcare centre overall setting. The food menu is highly varied and they welcome parents suggestions on that too. Last but not least, their response to minimise covid spread was top. We are highly cheerful with The Cottage! Our son joined The Cottage in September 2021 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

January 21, 2025 at 3:58 pmI could never place my kid anywhere else and treasure the adore and care it provides my little one. Within their care, she is nurtured to become a confident kid who is cheerful to explore her lovely surroundings with natural resources and a curious approach. I am able to sense calm in myself in the knowledge that she is receiving the best loving care I could ask for. Magdalen is a special place that should be experienced by all kids.

February 13, 2025 at 5:44 pmWhen we ask him how his day went, the first thing he usually says is ‘enjoyable’. The activities are truly diverse and the kids seem to interact well together. The team are positive and our son is discovering a lot as well as enjoying his time there. Our 2 and a half-year-old son goes to The Cottage and truly likes it.

March 27, 2025 at 7:30 amWe recently had a party to celebrate the first anniversary and I can say I was highly impressed with how much effort they put in order to create the perfect setting for the kids. All the rooms are highly cosy and well prepared with a lot of books, toys and space for activities.
The garden outside has a highly lovely patio and there are a lot of small allotments for gardening.
I consistently sense reassured and secure leaving my son at The Cottage, as I know I couldn’t find a better place for my son to grow .
He has developed so much and this thanks to the incredible team. Our son has been at The Cottage since the childcare centre opened and he was just one year old at that time.
The team are remarkable, they consistently organise a lot of activities and the facilities are incredible.

May 1, 2025 at 3:59 amMy son has formed close bonds with many team members, not just his key worker, and this is because each team member has made him sense valued and cared for. Updates has been outstanding, with online updates and quick 1:1 catch ups at pick up. Activities are varied and we’ve seen huge development in all aspects of our son’s life. He is more confident in social situations, progressing academically, becoming more independent and exploring more foods. When he is home he says ‘ Mummy, I miss childcare centre,’ which makes me sense even more confident that he is in the best possible place.
I’d say The Cottage is a childcare centre with a ‘home from home’ sense. We have been so thrilled, we registered our second kid before they were born! We have been delighted with The Cottage since our son started there in August.

May 26, 2025 at 2:04 pmShe looks forward to childcare centre every day, she’s learnt so much and we are delighted with her development.
They provide remarkable daily updates using the parent app so we consistently know what/how much she had to eat, how much she slept etc.
The menu is updated seasonally and we’re highly cheerful with the mix of meals/snacks she gets. Our daughter has attended The Cottage for a little under 12 months now and we could not be happier with how she is doing.

June 5, 2025 at 9:34 amTeam are lovely. Cleanliness is 100%. Loads of activities for kids of all the groups, lots of practical sessions for over two’s. This week they’re waiting for the chicken eggs to hatch. Over two’s are being taken to the library every week and there are dance classes every week. So, so cheerful with the way Magdalen Childcare centre and the team have helped shape my kid. Absolutely incredible childcare centre.
