November 23, 2016 at 12:00 amI have had two children at Noddy’s for 3+ years each, and I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough! Exceptionally good care, the kids LOVED all the key workers (in fact my oldest one insisted on inviting hers to her 4th birthday party :). Everything runs smoothly, the administration is well organised and efficient, food is better than what I cook (I am told, on good authority), the activities they do are just exceptional (tennis! woodwork! small sports! music with Jane! dancing! etc., etc., etc.). The kids spend a good amount of time outside too, and the routines are flexible enough to accommodate individual requirements (e.g. my little one still naps while most of his group doesn’t, so he goes into another class for his nap). The girls are so very kind, and obviously passionate about the kids, the job, etc.
We will miss Noddy’s dearly once our little one leaves next summer and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a nursery place.

December 6, 2016 at 12:00 amThe staff and the other children make Noddy’s a very special happy place. They went through a phase of quite high staff turnover a year or so ago, but I think the management have listened to the staff’s concerns and this has been rectified.
My son has special needs and his key carers were all brilliant, dedicated and went the extra (several) miles. He was very well socialised when he moved to a specialist setting and has thrived since.
My daughter has now moved on to Reception at school and has settled in very easily because she was so well prepared. Her literacy and numeracy are at the top of her class. She is also mature amongst her peers and is loving the school environment and learning in general because the Aqua Room staff made sure she was ready.
We are still in touch with all her nursery friends and their families and she has a very healthy social life outside of school as a result. And we have also made “friends for life” in a number of the other parents.

January 10, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son is 3 years old. He loves going to Noddy’s. Staff are very friendly and he has made a number of friends in his room. The daily activities are amazing. He does crafts, singing, phonics, plays in the garden, learns about seasons etc. He also does small sports, music, drama and is about to start French. My son is always given opportunities to learn further. All staff clearly follow policies and are consistent in their approach. Managers are knowledgeable as well as approachable. The food is fantastic and children’s needs are always taken into account.

There are a lot of activities like mini sports, dancing, singing etc throughout the day, but above all, the carers are amazing and create a warm and homely environment for my little one.

He enjoys being here and we are happy to leave him and reassured by daily app updates of his activities and progress. The staff are wonderful, always cheerful and very creative. They clearly care and have an interest in getting to know each child.

March 12, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Noddy’s Nursery School for the last 6 months, his carers have been friendly, loving and understanding.
Whenever we have had a problem, it was addressed swiftly and professionally.
The children do lots of activities, the reports are fantastic and my child develops so quickly while at nursery.
The meals are varied and lovely and my son always asks for seconds. He loves the food here.

June 26, 2020 at 12:00 amI am the mother of a 13-month-old who has just started nursery for the first time a few weeks ago. I was initially very worried about her being away from me for such long periods but the carers at Noddy’s are absolutely fantastic. When I dropped her off this morning she literally screamed with delight when she saw her carers and she is eating well, sleeping well and developing at an incredible speed now she is able to be with other little ones. The garden space is lovely (and mostly shaded) and they have so many different toys and playtime options. The app keeps us updated with any sleep, nappy change, food consumed and also has photos and a written update most days. The fees are quite high but not too extreme in the context of nursery charges in the Putney area and I feel like we get complete value for money as I can go to work and not worry about how she is doing. It is a fantastic site and I couldn’t recommend it more.

January 22, 2021 at 12:00 amWe absolutely love Noddys and our little girl is thriving there. I looked at a fair few nurseries before choosing them and the deciding factor was how ‘home-like’ and personal it felt rather than just another chain as I saw with some others. The school is in a huge Victorian house and feels so bright, colourful and welcoming. I also like the fact that each classroom is sorted by age so I know my daughter has a full week of activities for her and stage of development. She’s 2.5 and can count objects, knows colours, body parts, emotions and days of the week. She brings home art and I get daily activity photos and observations and reports on the app when she reaches another milestone. And she loves it. On the way home, she often asks to go back to school to continue playing with her friends. All the staff know her by name and it’s such a joyous place. I honestly can’t think of more I would want from a nursery.

January 22, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been in Noddy’s since September ‘19. She has loved it and has been cared for consistently since we first sent her. It is clear that the staff and management here genuinely adore the children and we couldn’t be happier with the nursery. They have handled the covid pandemic very well and have remained open for key workers’ children throughout 2020.

January 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son (almost 3 years old) has been going to Noddy’s Nursery since 2019 and he absolutely loves the nursery thanks to all the hard-working staff. My eldest son also went to Noddy’s Nursery for 2 years (started in 2016) so it has been so nice that my youngest son gets to meet so many of the staff that are still at the nursery and looked after his brother.
I believe the staff are a testament to the management team and owner as many of them have been working at the nursery for a long time which to me shows the environment is worth staying for.
The activities available to the children throughout the week are broad and my son loves the sports session. The care that my son receives from the staff is flawless and they always go the extra mile.
I couldn’t think of a better place for my son to be cared for and I am grateful for the work they do every day to encourage my son to meet the next milestone in his learning journey.

It was a big moment putting him into nursery as he was only 7 months old but he has just taken to it so well and I never worried about him at all.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amNoddy’s Nursery (Gwendolen Avenue) is one of the happiest places ever. Our son loved his time there. The nursery staff are incredible, always going the extra mile and so caring.
Every day when we dropped off and collected our son he was so happy to be dropped off with his peers and teachers.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son was at Noddy’s Nursery School for only a six month period as we had to move. But, in that time he could not have been more loved and cared for. He was always excited to go to nursery everyday and all of the staff, from owners and management to the most junior carers, really made it feel like a home. The quality of care was exceptional and I only wish we did not have to move so we could have kept our son in for longer.
