I’m really happy with the choice of Little Wombles (Broomhill) to be my son’s nursery. In just a couple of months we could see his development at all levels. Staff are dedicated, helpful and keen on understanding his specific needs. There are also numerous extra activities every day, from ballet/dance, French, music and sports and he simply loves them all.

It’s also easy to get to (by bus, in my case), King George’s Park is just across the road and the area is quite safe and secure. There is also a nearby swimming club for kids.

Overall facilities are good, eventually a bigger outside space would be recommended as well as with a different (softer) floor. Currently it’s tarmac, but ideally would be that soft material we can find on kids playgrounds. Other than that, rooms inside are adjusted to the kids max capacity and ratio of staff per children.

My only not-so-positive comment would be the food. It is outsourced, but it’s a limitation of not having a full-kitchen in-house.

My son loves his time at the nursery and he has learnt a lot more quickly than he would have if not at nursery. Little Wombles always ensure they expose the kids to a variety of activities to make learning fun. I am so happy my son got a place at Little Wombles.

We are extremely happy with Little Wombles and the nurturing and happy environment. The creativity and activities on offer are of a very high standard. All the staff who work at Little Wombles are caring, professional and are very good at communicating with us. The extra activities on offer are varied and fun for the children. Good, varied, healthy diet and snacks. We would be very happy to recommend Little Wombles to present and future parents.

My little girl really enjoys it, she comes home really talkative and has learnt new words. The staff are very lovely and I have notice she has created a bond with her key worker. Staff are very caring and they create a nurturing environment. The nursery manager is extremely helpful and has supported me immensely with finding the right balance for nursery days. Overall, we are very happy!

My son started when he was 9 months old- the staff were very caring and nurturing towards him as the youngest child there this helped him to settle quickly. The best thing about Little Wombles is the wide range of fun activities and learning opportunities such as sports lessons, gardening and ballet. Not a day goes by without news of an outing or experience my son has enjoyed- I really value this aspect as my preference is more towards being outside than in. For me the only downside is that there are a number of holiday closures (Christmas, Easter, Summer) for which there is no return.

I couldn’t recommend this nursery more highly. We have been thrilled with the care our daughter has received. The activities that she gets to do gives her the most amazing experiences and opportunities to learn. Although the garden isn’t huge the toys and activities they do our daughter loves and wants to spend all her time out there. It is a wonderful place for her to grow up, learn and develop. A really great nursery.

We have had 2 boys at Little Wombles, both very different characters (one very keen on learning and the other loves outdoors and playtime) and both have thrived. The staff are brilliant, very kind and patient. Both boys have surprised me on many occasions by coming home having learnt a vast array of different things. Alphabet and numbers from a very early age, not to mention sports, French and nature classes and also some school trips to see fire engines, natural history museum and Sea World. All of this, along side having loads of fun and making great friends with lovely children. The other Wombles parents have been great too. All very chatty and smiley at drop off and pick up, no akward school gate moments here.
We are all sad to say goodbye to the girls who have taken such good care of our boys over the years.

Our little boy has loved Little Wombles since he started at 8 months. It’s clear that the team adore the kids and vice versa. Seems like each day is enjoyable and varied with different activities, and a lot is done to advance his development. Although the outdoor space isn’t huge, they do go to the park and on trips, and they’re always outside playing with water or riding on the bikes. We also love receiving the Famly updates and photos at the end of each day!

I have had 3 children go through Little Wombles, my first starting in January 2015 and my third will be leaving in August 2022. We have loved the care and support that Wombles have provided for the last 7 years. The staff are fun and caring, and my daughters have happily gone in each day to them. It’s a small nursery that focuses on good relationships with the kids, pods of play opportunities, and now in preschool, lots of phonics learning. They make the most of the outside area and also go to the park lots which my daughter loves. We’ve also loved the various classes each week, French, ballet, sports, music, and outdoor learning, trips to the zoo, and library visits. I would recommend Wombles to any parent looking for a small, loving, and fun childcare option.

The staff at Little Wombles are loving, caring, and nurturing to children, and both my children who have attended formed strong relationships with key staff members.
The nursery has a number of different activities and the staff ensure that the children are engaged in age-appropriate activities that support their learning and development.
Unfortunately, since changing ownership the level of communication with parents has declined and communication has not been as clear, timely, or professional as we would have liked.

My son joined Little Wombles in October 2020 and since then he has thrived and grown so much. He enjoys the nursery and all the activities they do and he’s made many friends. The staff are supportive and caring and have good relationships with the children in their care. While the outside space is quite small, the staff do take the children to the park often. I would definitely recommend Little Wombles to any parent looking at nurseries

The team running things day to day are great and genuinely take an interest in our daughter’s development. They pack so many activities into the day and have external sports, French and nature specialists each week. Our daughter (now 2.5 years) loves going and keeps on surprising us with the vast array of different things she has learnt about!

Our 2 year old daughter joined Tenderlinks Day Nursery (Little Wombles) at the start of this year. We had just moved house and had a new baby so it was a strange time for her – but the nursery staff were so welcoming and nurturing that she immediately settled in well. There are plenty of activities and I particularly like the effort the team makes to celebrate events like World Book Day. My daughter is excited to attend the nursery and comes home happy and inspired after each day. There is a strong family feel – the staff are very friendly and attentive to each child and their individual needs. The senior management staff are good at communicating via the Famly app so I feel well connected to the team. The outside space is limited, however, the staff ensure the children get fresh air during the day – even during the colder months – by putting out various games and activities. I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nurturing, fun and stimulating environment for their child.

A nice nursery that has outside space for kids to run around freely no matter the weather. Lovely, understanding and experienced staff. Loads of opportunities for learning and therapeutic approach to education.

We have been so pleased with the love and care that has been shown to our boy at Tenderlinks Wandsworth. He absolutely loves it and runs in every day smiling! The staff are always keeping us updated on his day and I’m always in the loop with what he’s been up to which I love! Highly recommend!
