September 10, 2024 at 10:30 amOur daughter has been attending the childcare centre for a number of months now and the updates from the team is remarkable. Her tapestry is regularly updated with plenty of photographs of her enjoying her activities, notes on her likes and dislikes, general comments as well as her EYFS notes.
The team are consistently welcoming of us calling if we want to check in on our daughter and are quick to communicate with us if needs be – but never unnecessarily.
A stand out member of team is a young girl who consistently has such a huge smile on her face and clearly enjoys her job and goes above and beyond- she’s a real asset to the childcare centre.
Would highly suggest. A fantastic ‘home from home’ setting with mindful, attentive and engaging team.

September 27, 2024 at 10:26 pmThe childcare centre is highly well-managed and I am highly pleased with the level of care provided.
The childcare centre appears welcoming, spacious, bright, spotless and well-ventilated. I sense my daughter is cheerful and well looked- after. Catering to dietary needs (in my kid’s case) is exceptional. Newsletters, meetings and prompt response to emails ensure that any issues are addressed regularly. General documentation is outstanding (e.g- there was a detailed individual log book filed on a daily basis, when my kid was in the baby room)
The tapestry app is a nice modern touch to have a sneak-peek into activities that the kids delight in. There are a range of activities offered including trips to the local library which my preschooler truly enjoys. Forest school is an active kid’s dream-come-true.
Truly deserves the ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report that has been recently conferred- Well done Sunbeams! My daughter has been attending Sunbeams part-time for more than 2 years now.

December 7, 2024 at 6:57 pmWe are consistently kept to date with our kids’s development. The childcare centre provides a rich variety of lessons and experiences. Our daughter enjoys singing and music, and story time. A excellent bonus is having a park nearby (large green area) where the childcare centre has use of garden allotments. We are pleased that the childcare centre provides a rich flavour of indoor and outdoor activities. The team are consistently very welcoming, attentive, welcoming etc.

January 12, 2025 at 3:22 pmThey have a lovely outdoor area that my son loves and most days the kids are taken out there to get some fresh air. My son often comes home with crafts he has made and I regularly get updates on the Tapestry app to show me what he has been doing.
The childcare centre even did a nativity in December for all kids including the babies which was great.
I would highly suggest this childcare centre based on the experiences I have had so far. All of the team are welcoming and make a point of saying hello on a morning, they are also cheerful to discuss the day and don’t rush you out the door like other nurseries my son has been to.

February 12, 2025 at 1:10 pmI will genuinely miss the childcare centre when he goes to school in September. I am so pleased with the assistance and care all team offer my son. All team make an effort to get to know and care for every kid. Team are welcoming, expert and attentive and consistently go the extra mile.
All my kids have developed so much from attending Sunbeams and they have all enjoyed going to childcare centre and talk about the day truly positively. I can go to work knowing my son is being cared for exceptionally well. Sunbeams offers extras such as Forest School, summer outing, Christmas nativity and Father Christmas visit just to name a few.
Thank you all so much for all the care and assistance you have offered our family over the last 9 years! My son has been attending Sunbeams for 2 and a half years now and his two sisters attended before this.

February 12, 2025 at 2:35 pmAll very cheerful and smiley! This is my son’s 5th session and we have no tears and he is cheerful to go with team which puts my mind at rest. It’s lovely to see him cheerful on pickup too which tells me he is very settled and is enjoying his time here. Definitely, suggest this childcare centre. My almost 2-year-old boy loves it here, all of the team make us sense very welcome every session without a doubt!

March 14, 2025 at 11:47 amTeam are very welcoming and attentive and we sense lucky to have our son in such a secure and welcoming setting. Feedback on development and activities are regular and detailed. While the outdoor area is small in size, regular outings to the nearby park more than make up for this. Highly recommended. Our Son has been attending Sunbeams for nearly two years and we could not be happier with the care and discovering he has received in that time.

May 10, 2025 at 11:54 amThe team are welcoming and welcoming and there is a variety of activities for them to take part in. The only downside is the lack of outdoor space; there is a courtyard which is well maintained and used but quite small. We adore the childcare centre because is not too large which means our kid is well known by all team. Would suggest. Sunbeans Childcare centre is a fantastic setting for our kid.

May 25, 2025 at 6:41 amMy two older kids went to Sunbeams, so when it was time for my baby to go, I didn’t even look around. Team are all cheerful and welcoming, the setting is lovely and the manager is remarkable. They are consistently doing something enjoyable, holiday club is excellent. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My older kid has Autism and Sunbeams gave us every assistance and helped us get a diagnosis. Can’t praise this place enough. Although outside space is limited, they make full use of what they have and they take the kids over to Central Park which my little lady loves. Remarkable childcare centre.
