September 5, 2024 at 1:42 amThe Village Preschool were incredible. They took him on and have been so exceptional with him. His self‑assurance has grown so much, he is like a different kid. All the team are so compassionate and I cannot thank them enough. Highly suggest. My son has complex medical needs and we were struggling to find a setting willing to take him on.

September 18, 2024 at 9:59 amThe team are so welcoming, attentive and compassionate. My daughters enjoyed their time at the childcare centre. A big thank you to Village Pre-school for supporting my daughters all this time. I couldn’t be happier with Village pre-school.

September 23, 2024 at 1:31 amMy daughter who was just two at the time joined this childcare centre, and when she first joined I stayed with her for the first 3 days. The team looked welcoming, they were spending time with each kid, the kids looked cheerful, reviews were excellent so I thought I found the perfect place, but I had the worst journey.
When I went to pick her up the first day, I found her crying at the window, no teacher was next to her and she just looked highly scared. I just said it’s her first day and it will take time for her to settle.
The second day I went to pick her up I was shocked, my daughter’s face was full of scratches, her nappy was not changed, and she was left with her poo nappy for hours, she was crying again at the window and no team was next to her. At home, I also saw scratches on her leg and back, she had the worst nappy rash and she cried a lot. The educators only said they were sorry and I took my daughter out of the childcare centre. I will never suggest this childcare centre!

October 2, 2024 at 11:06 amMy daughter settled in highly quickly, thanks to the highly welcoming team. The range of activities the childcare centre offers is also remarkable, including weekly music sessions. A highlight of my daughter’s week. Fabulous preschool with an incredible outdoor space, allowing regular forest school sessions.

November 21, 2024 at 12:52 amSome friends recommended we should try The Village. We were worried about the change, but ever since the boys ran through the door on their first day, they have loved spending time at their new preschool. The key workers, and indeed, all the team, are so attentive and personable; it’s truly been a fantastic find. The ‘forest school’ area is such a excellent use of the space and gives the boys loads of outside space to explore! We receive excellent updates through the ‘app’, so sense connected to what the boys have been up to each day. We also recently took the boys to The Village’s yearly fair for their birthday celebrations. The day was fully organised by the team, and whether it was the bouncy castle, the fire engine visit or the ukulele band playing, there was not a frown in sight. The local neighboured families came out in force, and it was clear there was a lot of adore for The Village Preschool! We had just moved to Highams Park and were struggling to find a new childcare centre place for our twin boys.

December 9, 2024 at 11:59 pmBoth my kids have loved (and still adore) attending. The team are consistently cheerful, polite and welcoming. The set-up of the preschool is accessible to all kids and is able to reach/adapt to all their needs. An incredible preschool.

December 14, 2024 at 7:52 amTucked away from main roads and with excellent open spaces, including a forest school. It’s a perfect setting for kids to thrive in. The team are attentive and truly committed, which gives you a real sense of self‑assurance, particularly when it is the first time your kid goes into a preschool setting. Our son attended the Village Preschool for two years and we found it to be such a fantastic setting.

December 22, 2024 at 12:33 pmThe team are lovely and supportive, the outside spaces are beyond any other Childcare centre or preschool in the area and both of my kids are exceptionally cheerful there.
My son has additional needs and the SENCO at The Village Pre-School E17 has gone above and beyond to ensure that he gets the assistance that he needs and to ensure that he will continue to get the assistance that he needs when he attends primary school.
A remarkable childcare centre that I am cheerful to travel to from Chingford every morning. It’s worth the journey for my childrens’ happiness. I am so pleased that I discovered The Village Pre-School E17 and sent both of my kids there.

January 22, 2025 at 10:12 amIncredible bright and airy room, with a large outdoor playground, all refurbished this year. Has access to the large cricket ground and also does Forest School four sessions a week. The remarkable new Head has created a fantastic rich curriculum to engage the kids. The team are longstanding, highly attentive and engaged. Excellent pre-school and because it is a charity, prices are low for the borough. This preschool is a real gem.

January 26, 2025 at 5:19 amThe outdoor space that is available to the kids is second to none. My daughter loves attending and the forest school sessions are her favourite. The leadership team and key workers are so compassionate and attentive. They know all the kids well and it is reflected in the care and education of all the kids. The Village Preschool E17 is incredible.

April 2, 2025 at 10:56 amExtraordinarily spacious with different activities each day that my son loves. The educators and team are highly welcoming, highly welcoming and nurturing. One of their activities is going to the school forest once a week and my son loves it. Perfect childcare centre for my son.

May 3, 2025 at 7:35 pmWhen I googled it, I had no clue where it was but I came and I felt a peace enter myself. For my son as he came here, I saw he was gradually getting involved with the preschool routine. He is happier coming in and is discovering more and more things. I am a proud mum and he is cheerful. I am seeing a change in the daily activities they do. He has learnt a lot in his first year and is doing highly well. This is a highly great preschool. They playtime outside and do garden playtime and he is secure and comfortable. I am highly cheerful with the childcare centre school, my first journey.

May 10, 2025 at 3:01 pmThere is a playtime-led ethos but there is a great balance with discovering, particularly for older kids who are about to start school. The Forest School and outdoor spaces are also incredible, but the best thing about the preschool is the team – who are phenomenal and care deeply about the kids. The preschool also benefits from a fantastic management team and parent-led committee who are dedicated and passionate. I’m so sad that my youngest will be leaving soon – he will miss it so much! Both my kids have attended The Village Preschool E17 and they have had fantastic experiences both times.

May 20, 2025 at 10:19 pmThe team are so dedicated and go above and beyond for the kids. It took a while for my daughter to settle, and they have been so patient with her. This week she declared ‘I don’t want the summer holidays, I have so much enjoyable at preschool!’.
The setting itself is so rare in London, the kids have access to the huge field and on-site forest school and it feels like we are in a village rather than a city. Every day the team put out new and varied activities for the kids, and my daughter has enjoyed a range of themed days at the preschool. The outdoor activities in particular look like so much enjoyable.
We have no complaints! Thank you so much. We are thrilled that we found the Village Pre-School; it provides a varied, stimulating, attentive, enjoyable and secure space for our daughter to thrive in.

May 21, 2025 at 11:47 pmHe has progressed and learnt so much. It’s such a inviting setting with hugs and quiet time if they need it, as well as energetic physical activities, discovering and socialising. He was assigned a keyworker who was so supportive, and using the app kept me up to date with what he had been doing during the day as well as parent consults about his development. Their Forest school space is fantastic and the real diamond of the childcare centre so “Welly Wednesdays” was consistently my sons favourite day of the week. I suggest The Village Preschool highly and think the team are outstanding. My son has attended The Village Preschool for 18 months (since age 3) and loved it.
