September 12, 2024 at 3:34 pmMy daughter is now in the preschool room, having also been at the childcare centre since October 2016. I have seen a lot of change at the childcare centre and understand the less favourable feedback but must say the new manager is making significant and highly visible changes for the better. Much more of a true kid-led curriculum, playtime with natural materials, messy playtime, more natural playtime in the garden. Previous issues have been I think with management knowledge and direction, and definitely not with the attention and care of the team in the rooms. I’ve consistently found team lovely, especially in the preschool room. My kids have been cheerful at Le Nid. My son was in the preschool room from October 2016 until he started school in September 2017.

She thoroughly enjoys herself there and experiences may new activities but most important of all to me is the attentive and welcoming atmosphere. My daughter joined the childcare centre in September and has settled in wonderfully.

October 4, 2024 at 9:22 amShe adored going to the childcare centre and made strong connections with all the team. EDG is a highly inviting, welcoming and attentive childcare centre and we were consistently confident that our daughter was being well looked after. The facilities are great, particularly the outside space which can be used all year round regardless of weather though the downstairs rooms could do with a little more natural light. All team put in exceptional effort including the lovely reception team and it was a pleasure interacting with them every day. There were lots of changes at the childcare centre whilst our daughter was there and under new management the childcare centre is going from strength to strength. Communications/systems could still be improved a little but these are minor points and we would highly much suggest EDG. EDG Childcare centre was a fabulous setting for our daughter who was there from 10 months of age.

November 12, 2024 at 5:51 amEveryone from the receptionist onwards is welcoming and seem to be expert and yet relaxed.
I have not experienced such a welcoming atmosphere in any other nurseries,
It is a bright and open building, kids make excellent use of the large outdoor space.
I hope owners and management make efforts to keep team cheerful, assistance them and recruit more people. Cheerful team, equally cheerful kids.
Overall facilities are outstanding but worth asking team what new equipment, toys or improvements needed now.
Regular posting up on the reception and room walls of the kids’s latest materials and discovering goals would help busy parents quickly and easily grasp all the fantastic things the kids seem to be doing and improve decor.
There is a remarkable app with photos and highly informative newsletter.
A excellent place to be and to visit. My kid has attended for 5 months and I continue to be highly impressed by the childcare centre and in particular the dedicated and passionate team.

November 24, 2024 at 10:46 amOverall we are highly cheerful with the childcare centre. Our son has developed highly well and learnt a lot from the carers and other kids.
They have a excellent outdoor area, great rooms and organic meals.
We were a bit concerned about high team turnover, but to our knowledge, the management is working on this.
We will be sending our eleven month old daughter to this childcare centre soon. Our son has been with Le Nid since September 2016.

November 24, 2024 at 6:31 pmDespite some of the issues with previous management and Ofsted rating, we have never had any concerns with the care my son has been given. The current team are incredible and positive changes of new management in introductory science-based educational exercises has been excellent. The sense given is fresh and healthy. My son loves the outsourced tennis coach on Wednesdays. All the other kids at the childcare centre are lovely and my son has a excellent mix of friends there. My son has been attending the childcare centre for almost 2 years now and he has been highly cheerful here.

The activities and resources are outstanding and the kids at the childcare centre are lovely. The outside facilities are particularly great, especially for London. My daughter truly enjoys her time at childcare centre.

I was worried about how she would settle as she has difficulties with new people, but she settled highly quickly. The team were exceptionally attentive and she’s consistently kept busy and entertained. My daughter began here just over a month ago and has had a fantastic journey so far.

April 9, 2025 at 6:26 pmThe childcare centre has a nice garden and there is a lot of time devoted to free playtime. Some team are absolutely outstanding. However, there is much room for improvement. The childcare centre has seen highly high team turnover and some team are struggling with EYFS. The change in management has been for the best and we are hoping that the childcare centre is on it’s way to getting better. We have had a mixed journey with Le Nid Childcare.
On the one hand, our kid seems highly cheerful there.

April 20, 2025 at 5:41 pmBeing first-time parents when he joined, it was such a relief knowing that our kid is in such secure hands and being well looked after. The management are consistently welcoming and cheerful to talk through any issues parents might have and, given the regular updates we get on our son’s development, sense active partners in his discovering. During the covid-19 pandemic, the childcare centre went out of their way to be open and supportive, and we’re so grateful for the willingness of all the childcare centre team to get EDG open and running again as quickly and safely as possible. We already have our new daughter down to join childcare centre soon, which is probably the highest praise we can give to them! We only have positive things to say about EDG and our son is so cheerful to be there.
We were immediately struck by how attentive and attentive the team are and by the positive and inviting discovering setting that has been created within the childcare centre.

They also made drop off and pick up a dream by spending time with us to exchange information and give updates. My daughter, in a truly short time frame, bonded with team and was quite cheerful! We sent our daughter here for 4 months and have only taken her out because we left London.

The childcare centre has great facilities including a garden and an art room, and has a truly nice focus on kid led playtime and discovering. They prepared my son brilliantly for school (he was there for 3 years) and my daughter is highly cheerful there. EDG is a lovely setting for the kids – team are excellent with the kids in all the rooms and they build a great relationship with parents.

June 1, 2025 at 12:45 amLots of space and a large garden. Activities allow my son to playtime freely and learn. Rooms are light and airy and well set up for a kid’s development. One attraction of the childcare centre was the yoga and French they offer. Also pre-Covid they arranged outdoor trips and external visitors frequently – we hope that this can be restored in due course. Team all welcoming, welcoming and fill us with self‑assurance. Management supportive and understanding over the Covid time. Our son loves it at EDG and we are highly cheerful we chose it. Lovely childcare centre who have welcomed us from the start of viewing.

July 3, 2025 at 9:23 amIt provides a nurturing and secure setting for the kids. All the educators have been fantastic and I sense that my little one has been thriving there. The building is lovely and they organise plenty of extra activities such music classes, tennis and Spanish lessons. The management is consistently keen on listening to parents and they take on board their advice. I cannot praise Le Nid Childcare highly enough. My son has been in attendance at Le Nid Childcare for almost 2 years and I couldn’t be happier.
