Busy Bees Teddington is a boutique nursery in a large, converted home located in a residential area of Teddington. We are a short 8-minute stroll from Teddington High Street. Many of our parents live in the immediate streets surrounding the nursery and walk to us but we are well located for those requiring public transport. Multiple bus routes serve Teddington High Street and Teddington Train Station is 7 minutes on foot for South Central services into London Waterloo.
From our nutritious meals with a 5* rating from the EHO, extracurricular activities, a qualified teacher on site and a recently refurbished garden housing a large outdoor space including a separate safe space for the babies, a beautiful cosy baby room with a sleep room attached and in total 4 childcare rooms across 2 floors Busy Bees provides top quality childcare.

February 1, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Busy Bees since she was 16 months old. I had to leave the previous nursery near work as she didn’t like it and after 4 months was still not settling in and was crying every day. She totally settled down here after two weeks. There is something special about Busy Bees! The staff are all very warm, welcoming, and friendly. My daughter gets on with everyone and is always, ALWAYS smiling every day I collect her! As a mother, it’s very comforting to know she has been well looked after and basically having a blast every day! She was off almost two weeks during Xmas and couldn’t wait to return in the new year. She’s been going for two whole years now and absolutely loves it. I’m so glad she’s made many friends here and enjoys herself all the time. They don’t just play aimlessly but have a variety of learning topics, welcome and include parents’ feedback, and are constantly trying to improve. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

Our boy has been going from the age of 1 year old, for the last 9 months and he always walks in excitedly. They provide plenty of fun activities and ways of learning and a great variety of food.

February 15, 2022 at 12:00 amAs a first time mum going back to work seemed quite daunting especially during a pandemic. Teddington nursery have been so kind and understanding. Even though many government restrictions haven’t allowed for us as parents to enter the building, the staff have been amazing at communicating both positive things and also encouraging things we can work on together both at home and in the nursery. The app is also an amazing tool and allows you to see the ‘wow’ moments your child has had that day. I also have a stepdaughter who doesn’t attend the nursery, however, has had a recent diagnosis of autism and ADHD and they have given extra help, advice and support on what we can do to help the relationship between my son and his half-sister out of their own kindness and care for young children. Overall a lovely nursery. I’ve always felt comfortable and safe sending my son here and would recommend it to anyone.

February 25, 2022 at 12:00 amMy two year old has been at Busy Bees, Teddington for one year now and I have been really impressed with the care and attention from the staff. My child’s onboarding and settling into the nursery was very personal and attentive and the staff are always friendly, helpful and willing to give you their time. It is clear my child has lots of fun when they are there. They always come back full of beans.

February 25, 2022 at 12:00 amA big thank you to all the staff at the Busy Bees’ Teddington branch including management staff/key workers/chef, the parent app service and the invoicing team. My wife and I are very pleased with the progress our son has made since he was 8 months old (now 3 and a half) moving through each room in the nursery and all the development milestones he has met during this time. The staff have been amazing in their level of care and support in meeting his needs and offering advice when sort to help us manage what he has learnt in the nursery so that we are in sync at home. The nursery itself is very spacious and bright from visits we have made in 2019 and now allowed back again in 2022 due to restrictions lifting, and is set in a lovely location. I am always pleasantly surprised when my son comes home to tell me his day and to see what new activities he has carried out and learned. I highly recommend this nursery, I have peace of mind knowing my son is safe and in trusted hands.

February 25, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son attends Busy Bees Teddington and he is always excited to be going to the nursery to see his friends and the staff. The nursery has really helped his confidence, his language and social skills development. The staff are always responsive and consider suggestions for improvements. His siblings will be starting there later in the year.

She settled in very quickly and has lots of fun doing activities and spending time in the garden. The staff are great, very welcoming and friendly, and clearly enjoy working with the children. The centre management has been very supportive and helpful whenever I have had any questions or concerns about development.

January 9, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son has been at Busy Bees from 10 months and it has been like a second home for him. The staff are very friendly and approachable and get to know the children really well. The children take part in a wide variety of activities every day and our son particularly enjoyed the Head Start programme that was offered at a small additional cost. During Covid, drop off and pick up were sometimes a bit slow, but that has improved with many parents now able to return into the nursery for collection.
Our son has always felt safe and happy at Busy Bees and I am so grateful to the staff for their continued hard work in taking great care of him.

January 9, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Busy Bees for almost 2 years and we couldn’t be happier with her care. All of the nursery staff are so caring and they feel like one big family. I love that the staff members from the other rooms also know my daughter and she has really strong relationships with several of the staff members. I’ve also always been very impressed with the management team at the nursery. I recommend the nursery highly and I feel like they really strive to develop my daughter and prepare her for school.

The staff are friendly and kind, and there is a really nice atmosphere about the place. The nursery is managed very well – any concerns or issues are addressed immediately, and they are very willing to help. Any extra support needed is identified and offered, and he has really thrived. He is excited to go and comes back tired but happy, having been kept busy with lots of fun activities. I feel very confident with the staff at Busy Bees caring for my son and would recommend it to anyone.

January 13, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending Busy Bees since he was fifteen months old – and is now almost three years old. He is very happy there and has forged strong relationships with the other children and with various members of the team. I appreciate the kindness of the staff, the professionalism in all correspondence, and the flexibility when it comes to adding extra days, altering days, etc. We very much like that there are four different rooms, so he has always been grouped with his peers and never with children much older or younger. We welcome the updates we receive throughout the day. But, more than anything else, we are thrilled that he enjoys spending time there.

They do a fantastic amount of different activities and he has learned so much from the nursery in his time there. They spend time every day outside in the garden which is so important. Every member of staff I have met at Busy Bees is very caring and attentive, always happy and enthusiastic. Our son has thrived since attending Busy Bees and I would recommend it to anyone.

Before she started, she wasn’t great around other kids but now she plays with everyone and is a really confident little girl. The staff are great and listen to my requests and address the concerns I do have in a really timely manner.
I’ve recommended the nursery to all my friends.

I cannot thank all the staff enough for what they have done with him getting ready for reception in September 2023. My son will be very sad to leave, as will I.

We are very happy with the nursery and our daughter is happy. She develops well, she loves to go there. Knowing that your child is comfortable there, is very reassuring.
There is honestly nothing to complain about.
The staff and management is amazing.
We are really grateful for all their work.

We feel that our daughter is much loved by the staff and her peers and is always happy to go to nursery. Our son just joined too and he loved it since day one. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go for Busy Bees Teddington.

All staff take an active interest in her when we drop her off and pick her up and she has started to settle in very well. We are pleased to hear about the different activities and see pictures of her enjoying them. We continue to appreciate hearing about the new activities the nursery offer her and the feedback we get about her interests and development. The staff are always great to deal with and our daughter loves being in their company.

He is developing new skills every day and is clearly super happy and fulfilled.
