September 4, 2024 at 11:54 amI was apprehensive about leaving him at childcare centre but my worries were unfounded as he absolutely loves it! He is so cheerful when we arrive – he runs in to see his friends and to playtime with the toys and it’s evident that he’s truly comfortable in the setting there. The team are outstanding at communicating feedback and our son is building excellent relationships with everyone. The team make a real effort to make discovering tasks varied and do a great range of activities to keep the kids busy and entertained. We can truly see the development our son is making with his speech and motor skills. As well as his discovering, his personal development is also coming on leaps and bounds and he is becoming truly confident engaging with other kids. At home and out socially we can truly see how much he’s progressed since starting childcare centre. We’re highly cheerful with Young Oaks Day Childcare centre. Our little boy started at Young Oaks when he turned 1 and I went back to work and he’s been there for 3 months now.

October 12, 2024 at 10:14 pmShe is still young and can’t yet speak, but she brings us her coat in the mornings, eager to leave the house so that she can go to childcare centre. When we arrive, she runs off to greet the team and her friends without sparing a thought for mummy or daddy! She loves childcare centre! The team are fantastic, inviting, nurturing while also being expert and conscientious. The childcare centre manager is outstanding – I can’t praise her highly enough for her professionalism and her incredible way of calming any upset kid and any anxious parent. I was truly worried before leaving my little one at childcare centre to return to work full time, but I needn’t have worried, because the manager took my daughter (and me at times!) under her wing and created a home away from home for my daughter. I couldn’t be happier with Young Oaks. Our daughter has been attending Young Oaks for 4 months.

October 28, 2024 at 2:43 pmThey’ve worked truly hard to ensure his settling in has been smooth.
It’s a lovely, homely childcare centre with a excellent community sense and lots of team that have worked there for a long time. They’re incredibly inventive with the things they do to keep the kids occupied. It feels like they have a excellent balance of keeping the kids cheerful whilst also discovering.
Our son has already learned lots and we can see him developing every week he spends there. We cannot suggest Young Oaks and the team there more highly. We have been so impressed with the care and dedication the team of Young Oaks Day Childcare centre have put into looking after our son.

December 26, 2024 at 11:07 amAfter our childcare arrangements suddenly changed in September, we had to find an alternative quickly and stumbled across Young Oaks (approx. 5 mins from HOP station). Our son had previously been used to a nanny, who he had a strong bond with and so we were keen to find a small, intimate and attentive childcare centre with team that would make the transition as smooth as possible. The manager is highly experienced and took our son under her wing. Young Oaks ticked the most important boxes for us, as team turnover is low and and our son’s key worker has been a exceptional throughout looking after our son as soon as he arrives each morning. Our little one truly enjoys going to childcare centre and has made lots of lovely friends. We adore having our daily report at the end of each day and hearing what activities they have been up to. We would definitely suggest it to other local parents in SE23. Young Oaks Day Childcare centre has been a little hidden gem for us and our 1.5-year-old son.

December 28, 2024 at 5:01 pmHe settled it truly quickly when he joined back in April (without having any childcare centre journey prior that). The team are highly welcoming and attentive. I like the fact the there is a highly little team rotation (unlike in other nurseries) which helps build a excellent bond between carers and kids (and parents).
I truly like when I pick up my son at the end of the day to listen to a feedback from his educators about his day ..as there are consistently excellent stories of him having enjoyable during the day. My 3 years old son loves the childcare centre.

March 9, 2025 at 2:10 amMy daughter started when she turned one and the team were exceptional during the settling in period. The team are all incredible and highly passionate about their jobs, there have been no changes to team during her time at the childcare centre.
My daughter loves going to childcare centre and is consistently cheerful when we drop her/collect her. We hear about everything she gets up to on a daily basis and she has built excellent relationships with her key workers and other kids. We couldn’t be happier with the care provided! We are so cheerful that we came across this childcare centre, I would highly suggest it.

April 29, 2025 at 8:52 pmShe settled in quickly, has forged strong bonds and friendships with the team and kids and is cheerful and secure there. She experienced a period of separation anxiety when she found out she was going to be a big sister and the childcare centre was outstanding in handling this – working collaboratively and patiently with us to assistance her through it.
The team are capable and attentive and turnover is highly low. The childcare centre has a homely, family atmosphere. The kids spend a lot of time together and it is nice to see the older kids helping the younger kids. The manager of the childcare centre is highly hands on and close to the kids, yet highly responsive, expert and receptive to feedback. Updates is great, with monthly newsletters and daily activity reports. Emails are picked up and responded to quickly and the childcare centre is highly flexible and accommodating with extra sessions and emergency care. My daughter has been at the childcare centre for a year after transferring from another setting.

May 17, 2025 at 3:55 pmShe is truly well cared for and enjoys the social nature of the childcare centre. I am also highly cheerful with the education there as she has just turned three and has already been taught all her numbers and letters as well as life skills like sharing and vocalising her needs. Our daughter is so cheerful at this childcare centre and happily trots in.

June 1, 2025 at 3:01 pmThe team are truly welcoming and compassionate, she has a excellent relationship with each of them. She consistently has enjoyable and is full of beans when she gets home in the evening eager to tell us what she has been doing. We get lots of feedback at the end of the day on the feedback form telling us about her mood and activities and even what she ate and how long she slept. I sense highly confident leaving her there. She gets on well with the other kids and I sense her discovering is truly starting to come on in leaps and bounds, they do lots of singing and counting and borrows a different book every week. The same team are there everyday so I have a excellent relationship with them too. I highly suggest Young Oaks. My 3 year old daughter has been at Young Oaks (2 days a week) for a year now and she absolutely loves it there.
