Ladywell Pre-school

Their provision overall is outstanding, kids are stimulated and highly well cared for. Updates with parents is outstanding, both at the gate and through the app they use. The team are thoughtful professionals who are interested in the kids.
Our older kid did one year in the setting aged 3-4 and in the first term in autumn, the team recognised he would have trouble in school without some dedicated help. They helped us apply for an education, health and care plan and that combined with conversations we had has been invaluable in helping us assistance him into and through the beginning of school as an autistic kid.
Our other kid (2-4) had difficult phases that many kids journey, as he developed his social skills. The managers, key workers and other team were attentive and sensible and worked with us to help him and he’s now excited to start school soon! 10/10, exceptional place. We have just finished three years with our two kids at Ladywell Preschool and I suggest it highly highly.

From her first day, my daughter has loved it there and is already looking forward to returning in September. The indoor and outdoor spaces are large and beautifully decorated. The activities are stimulating and creative, and usually involve wooden toys or natural objects to encourage the kids to engage with their setting. And there are special themed days (such as winter pyjama day!) which my daughter loves. Best of all are the team, who are all bright, enjoyable and attentive. It has surpassed all my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with Ladywell Pre-school.

The team are incredible, which made the settling in process highly smooth and there are plenty of updates on your kid’s development, as well as all the enjoyable they are having. One of the excellent things about the Pre-school is the large outdoor area with lots of activities for the kids to delight in. The team are consistently coming up with creative ways for the kids to learn which is just one of the reasons why I would highly suggest Ladywell Pre-school to anyone looking for a inviting, creative, welcoming setting with a remarkable team. My kid has attended Ladywell Pre-school for almost a year now and we could not be happier.

My kid has just finished two years here and has thrived. The manager is passionate about discovering, full of adore for the kids and incredibly hard working, and the kids benefit from a attentive, funny, committed team of team who make it their business to know the kids and deliver discovering and growth in a variety of ways. As well as an apparently low churn of team, one of the keys to its success is an unusually strong relationship with parent/carer community (who are also welcome to get involved). I consistently look forward to the detailed weekly coverage and photos of what the kids have been up to and I adore that so much of it is led by the kids themselves. The large outside space is lovely, varied and full of nature; there is a garden where the kids grow their own vegetables – and also cook and eat them. The kids prepare food regularly and mine has got pretty into woodwork since he started it there. I cannot suggest this tucked-away pre-school highly enough.

The team are remarkable, inviting and attentive with an outstanding balance on fostering great behaviour.
They are so creative with the activities and truly nurture the kids’s imaginations.

The space is excellent, the structure perfect and he has grown so much. The thing that makes this place 5* for me are the team. They are so well‑informed, passionate, committed and attentive. They go above and beyond with all activities that are consistently kid-led. They have fantastic connections with the local community including the care home opposite and have made my son perfectly ready for school. My oldest son stayed in his private childcare centre until he started school, the final few terms were truly painful as he’d outgrown the setting. My youngest who attended Ladywell Pre-school, and is an October kid never didn’t want to go and was consistently stimulated and excited to engage in the age-appropriate activities.
Although the hours are tricky (9-3:30) and we had to get an afterschool nanny, it was worth the hassle and our son is, without doubt, better off for attending this year. My youngest son attended Ladywell Pre-school from September 2022 and it has been the most fantastic journey.

It provides a exceptional provision, with loads of opportunities to playtime outside and so many varied activities. The manager and her team have gone above and beyond when my son was settling and through his time there, now helping to prepare him for starting school in September. There is a consistency in team too which shows it is a cheerful place and benefits the kids lots. They clearly know all the kids truly well and have created a calm, cheerful place. It is a unique setting and I sense so lucky to have found it. I would suggest it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for childcare in the Ladywell area. My son has been at Ladywell Preschool for 18 months and has thrived there.

We are so cheerful with her journey at Ladywell – the team are incredible, and work so hard to ensure that the kids are stimulated, having enjoyable, and discovering all the time. Parents are kept up to date on their kid’s development via the Famly app, where photos, updates and development against key stages are reported. It’s a remarkable preschool, with remarkable team. I cannot suggest it enough! My kid has attended Ladywell Pre-school since September 2019 and loves it.

The team are incredible and the days are filled with enjoyable, imaginative (and often hilarious!) activities built around the kids’s interests and the time of year. The manager and her team are a remarkable and hard-working team, and we couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre. Ladywell Pre-school is a inviting and nurturing setting, and my son has truly blossomed in the year he’s been there.

It’s kid-led – they do the most incredible things based on what the kids are interested in (building a unicorn world for example). There is free flow indoor to outdoor playtime and a lovely garden. They do cooking and crafts – our daughter has absolutely flourished there. We truly could not suggest it enough and will be sad to leave. Ladywell Pre-school is a truly special place.
