Coin Street Nursery

The childcare centre is a enjoyable and transparent space, offering various rooms and playtime areas, including a generous open-air playtime space on the terrace where the toddlers spend time gardening, playing in the mud kitchen and sandpit or painting. The location is easy to access and provides a large buggy park. They also offer healthy, diverse and delicious meals prepared by their very own chef. We tried them on a few occasions and can definitely endorse the chef! The team provides plenty of community-based activities encouraging kids to learn about the world (e.g. spending time outdoors in parks, going to the football pitch, attending dance classes at a nearby dance studio, visiting museums for seasonal activities and holding open days for families).
We definitely suggest it! Our son joined the Coin Street Childcare centre when he was just 9 months old and the fantastic team here has supported all of us throughout his journey as he moved from the Baby Room to Discoverers and Investigators groups.

All the team were so accommodating when she started as settling was tricky and had to be repeated a few times due to long absences.
She loved being there and was hard to drag her away.
She often talks about the childcare centre and the team still! Has made some lifelong friends, we hope, in terms of the other kids and team.

The team were consistently extremely supportive and welcoming, and our daughter formed a real bond with at least two of the carers that looked after her. The childcare centre has a large space and is well organised, and they do many activities including outside walks etc. Couldn’t suggest more highly and we were very sad to leave. We could not have been happier with our journey of Coin Street – our daughter attended from 9-23 months and we only changed because working from home meant it was no longer convenient to travel in.

The atmosphere was vibrant, the kids looked relaxed and seemed cheerful. The team seemed really invested in the kids’s happiness and wellbeing and was especially cheerful to hear about the extracurricular activities. My son’s time there was lovely and he formed a great relationship with educators and kids too! Consistently felt he was secure and in great care. I was immediately enamored by Coin Street.

We have been very pleased with the team at Coin Street and he has loved his time there, the keyworkers really care about the kids, and the building and facilities are excellent. For a central London childcare centre, they have lovely outdoor space, and it is a way back from any main roads which we felt was important. The team turnover at Coin Street seems low which was a real positive for us, and they don’t seem to need to use agency workers all that much. The kids all seem cheerful and they go on some excellent local excursions to the river or nearby parks and playgrounds. I am very cheerful to suggest Coin Street to any potential new parents, we felt it was right for our son straight after our first visit as we had a really positive feeling when viewing the childcare centre and meeting the team. Our son has been at Coin Street Childcare centre since he was just over a year old, he is leaving at the end of this summer to start school.

His time at Coin Street was positive and he still talks about the childcare centre and the people who looked after him there. He reached all his developmental goals and exceeded in most of them thanks to the fantastic team at Coin Street, my son is a cheerful and confident kid. My son was at Coin Street Childcare centre from 11 months, he is now four and in school.

My daughter, who has been attending the childcare centre since she was a 1-year-old. During this time we have been extremely cheerful with her development, she has thrived there and team couldn’t be more supportive, enthusiastic and welcoming. She has made a lot of friends and has a great relationship with the educators. They learn something new every day and I adore that they playtime outside in the fresh air every day (unless of high winds) which I think is extremely important. The programme of activities is well thought out, educational and engaging. Updates with parents is also outstanding. It breaks my heart that I have to leave after 2 years but only because we are relocating to a different part of the town. I suggest this Childcare centre 100%, don’t hesitate your kid will adore it here. This is a remarkable childcare centre, excellent facilities, lovely location and incredible team – from key person to office assistance.

The team were consistently greeting us with a smile and my little boy learned so much! At only two and a half, he learned the different shapes, singing all the alphabet and to count to ten with lots and lots of vocabulary to express himself! He bonded nicely with his key person but also with all other members of team and he now teaches me all the childcare centre rhythms he learned there. My baby went to the childcare centre as I was studying in King’s College nearby.

The team are so attentive and the kids all seem to have excellent enjoyable! There’s messy playtime, a lovely secure outdoors space and cosy reading corners. The food is delicious and home cooked on site. The management team are communicative and really welcoming – our little boy is flourishing there, I highly suggest it. Our little boy loves his time at Coin Street – it’s a beautifully light, spotless childcare centre with lots of space (indoors and out).

He started just after his 1st birthday. He has had a remarkable journey and so have we. We felt confident that he was secure and well looked after right from the start. He loved it there so much and even asked to go at the weekends!
Fantastic team, excellent updates from all team, excellent food, outstanding discovering, i.e. alphabet, numbers, days of the week, speaking, listening, messy playtime, tidy up time, getting dressed, discovering to ride a balance bike, social skills, arts and crafts, the list goes on and on.
We know we’ve given our son the best start to his journey by starting at Coin Street. Our son has just graduated from Coin Street Childcare centre at 4 years old.
