Chapel House Day Nursery

My son has been attending Chapel House Day Nursery for just over a year and sadly this is his last two weeks.
Chapel House has been amazing for my son, from his learning, confidence, eating, overall wellbeing in a group setting, making friends, playing, exploring.
The staff have been exceptional. My son has bonded with all the staff and he loves them a lot, it will be sad when he has to leave. They have played an important role in his development.
Before Chapel House, my son attended a different nursery and a childminder…but the male presence at Chapel House has been really good for my son’s learning and confidence. Not every nursery has male staff so it created a different environment which my son loved.
I would recommend Chapel House 100,000 times over to anyone.

Avoid disappointment! Two weeks in a row to let me know my child cannot come in due to a lack of staff. This is very understandable, things like this happen. But because my child is funded with free 15 hours she is not a priority so she cannot come in not for one day or two days, but for a whole five days. My child is not funded and I pay for her nursery fees, but because their office is unorganised this was not on the system. They called me last minute, two hours before I needed to bring my child in to give me this information. Most of the staff are really nice but a regional manager suddenly took over and she is horrible, very unapologetic and rude. Cant attend work or university, very unreliable. Not to mention they send my child home with the incorrect jacket all the time (family members collect my child). Hello, we are going through a global pandemic, they should be extra careful especially during this time. My child came home with a bump on her head. When I called no one knew anything.

When my son first started I was very worried as he had spent a year at home due to lockdown and had not been attending any playgroups and socialising. His speech was limited and unclear. He has bloomed since being at nursery, his speech is clear and he is speaking in sentences, he is confident and independent. The staff are very caring and I find if problems crop up they and management are very responsive. Things became difficult towards the end of last year due to staff illness during Covid, however, I felt they kept me informed of the situation and they did what they could to remain open to my child. I love that I have access to the app and can see what he has been doing during the day and have a record of his development. I always happily recommend Chapel House Day Nursery as I feel it’s the best option. The facilities are amazing the outside space is well thought out. The food provided is freshly cooked and healthy. The staff genuinely care about the children in their care.

Chapel House Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery, we couldn’t be happier with the care our daughter receives. Everyone that works there are wonderful and so caring. There is a real family atmosphere and I feel they really get to know your child. We are first time parents and they have been gently supportive and made great suggestions to help our daughter’s development. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

My daughter has been at Chapel House Day Nursery since August 2021 and has been very happy there. Due to the pandemic, she had never been to nursery before this and settled straight in. She loves all the staff there and always comes home happy and full of her day. She is always well cared for and I have never had any cause for concern and am comfortable and confident to leave her there.
She will be leaving in August to go to reception and I know she will miss everybody there.

Chapel House Day Nursery is an amazing, friendly, professional nursery. Staff and management are welcoming.
My daughter loves attending nursery and I have seen a positive growth since my daughter has attended Chapel House. If I have any more children, they will be attending Chapel House.

Everything about the nursery is excellent. My son has been attending this nursery since he was 2 and he loves to go to the nursery.
Always talking about what he did at the nursery, his friends and also his teachers.

We have had a very positive experience with Chapel House Day Nursery. The Nursery has nice indoor and outdoor spaces, friendly staff and good management. My child is safe and thriving and any concerns I raise are dealt with immediately. 5 stars.

As a first-time parent it’s always nerve-wracking having to leave your child anywhere but Chapel House Day Nursery has made both myself and my child comfortable and welcomed. The staff are very kind and are always reporting back about my child’s day and sending reports which I love to see and hear! The range of activities are also very good and creative.

Such lovely staff who are very attentive to my son and his development, they’ve always heard me out and listened to my needs and wants, couldn’t ask for a more lovely manager, who is so sweet and has brilliant energy. Very happy with Chapel House for making a great environment for me and my son.
