Nelly's Nursery - Lancaster Avenue

Our toddler loves the garden and looking forward to our daughter starting in the baby room soon.
In particular, we have liked and been impressed by:
– quality (and retention) of team!
– range of activities (including some extras like French)
– the way different themes or world festivals are celebrated
Very much feels like it’s an extension of home and our toddler is consistently excited to go and to see his friends each day. Inviting and welcoming atmosphere, it’s very much a big Nellys family!

They are like an extended family, consistently there to welcome him with a smile and cuddle. He has settled in so easily, and this has made our journey as parents so much better. The early discovering development side of things is outstanding, with his dedicated care worker liaising with me regularly to update and share his development. It’s incredible to see how he is has grown as a little person over the past few months. The setting is fab – particularly the fantastic garden, with its separate exploring areas. I adore seeing daily pictures of what they have been up to! I sense so cheerful with the childcare centre setting – it’s safety, security and promotion of a kid’s well-being. The team team is fantastic – and my son is genuinely excited to see them at the start of the day. I am so cheerful to choose Nelly’s Lancaster – a home from home. As the first childcare centre our son has attended, Nelly’s have been the dream!

There is every and any activity to do, especially in the outstanding outdoor space. We sent our eldest to Nelly’s too and they flew through potty training and the early stages of identifying letters and writing with the assistance of the fantastic team. We have two curious, cheerful and independent kids – and the fantastic Nelly’s team have been a major part of that. The setting at Nelly’s Childcare centre is that of a second home, my kid grins when we reach the doors and is sad to leave at the end of the day.

The outdoor space is exceptional and was a really important factor for us in selecting a childcare centre. All the team have been really accommodating of our daughter’s individual needs including managing her allergies, supporting her signing and her early potty training. We are thrilled with the care that Nelly’s Childcare centre have given to our daughter, from the first day we visited we felt so trusting of the manager and all the team, and our daughter absolutely loves it.

When searching for a suitable childcare centre for my kid I had concerns. We visited numerous nurseries in our local area and by far Nelly’s was most suitable for us. We booked a tour and had the best journey we instantly signed up once we got home. The team and management where very accommodating from the moment we enter the building. My kid now attends this childcare centre and daily she comes home very cheerful. We receive daily updates via the portal which I must say I am extremely pleased with, as I am able to see the development of my kid. My personal journey has been incredible so far, from the location to the professionalism of all team.

The facilities are fantastic and the team have all been so inviting and welcoming. After an initial settling in period, our daughter now happily walks into the childcare centre every morning, excited to go playtime with all the exciting activities they have set up for her (all of which are posted to the app every day so we can see what she is up to). I adore the pictures we get to see of her enjoying her time and discovering new activities (we also get updates on what she ate, when she slept and her nappy changes). She loves the garden and playing in the dirt kitchen and I can just see how much stimulation she is receiving there. Her self‑assurance has grown immensely since joining the childcare centre. It’s been so important to us, especially during Covid, that she builds relationships with other adults and kids and so it’s excellent to see her bonding with her key person and other team. My 16-month-old daughter has been attending Nelly’s Childcare centre Lancaster Avenue for nearly 3 months and I can’t suggest it enough.

In addition to the incredible team, the activities that the kids are able to partake in and the large outside space creates a exceptional setting for kids to thrive in. Current childcare centre management are incredible as are the exceptional team that care for the kids day to day, there is a true sense that all of the team truly care for the wellbeing and development of the kids.

The building and the outside space is lovely. I can’t imagine a childcare centre with a better garden, with so much space, a mud kitchen, slide, summer house and huge sandpit. However it is not the outstanding building and the facilities but the team that make Nelly’s so magical. Somehow they make looking after all the kids look so easy and the setting just feels inviting and calming. The activities offered look so much enjoyable. I have 22 month old twin boys and I can see just how much they adore the freedom to playtime and explore but also how secure and secure they sense in the setting at Nelly’s. There’s dress up, baking, messy playtime and so much more. I sense confident when I leave for work, that my boys are in the absolute best care and the peace of mind that provides me with is so valuable. I would suggest them fully to any prospective parent looking at nurseries in the area. Nelly’s Childcare centre – Lancaster Avenue is an incredible childcare centre.

Right from the start and my kid’s settling in period, the team have been so welcoming and welcoming. They really took their time to get to know her and she settled quickly. I sense confident each day she is dropped off that she is in the safest hands and she seems to have a lot of enjoyable. The menu is varied and nutritious and updates from the team is outstanding. I can’t say enough great things about Nelly’s at Lancaster Avenue.

She is very cheerful going in every morning and even on days that she is off, it feels like her second home. The team and managers are nurturing and supportive and they provide her with so much attention and positivity. I have been giving excellent feedback on eating habits and updates. I will highly suggest Nelly’s Lancaster to anyone looking for a childcare centre. My daughter has been attending Nelly’s Childcare centre for almost a year now.
