From the minute my daughter started going to Little Agnes, the care and attention she has received has been of the highest possible standard. The staff really care – not only about the wellbeing of your child, but that of the whole family. Every time we drop off our daughter in the morning, we know she will be safe and happy – and will be learning lots of interesting and exciting things during the day. We couldn’t really ask for more in a nursery and are so glad we chose this special place!

September 30, 2021 at 12:00 amThe best nursery in London, I am so glad I found Little Agnes Nursery for my son. He has settled so well that he cries when I collect him at the end of the day as he wants to stay longer. Staff are incredible especially the manager who is so professional and made the whole process smooth from beginning to end. I wish I had found them earlier. Also, I would love to mention how clean and tidy the nursery is. Highly recommend to everyone. You must visit to see how brilliant they are!

December 30, 2021 at 12:00 amA wonderfully warm, welcoming, family atmosphere fills this nursery. Staff are caring and considerate, not only towards the children but to us as a family as a whole. The nursery is clean and tidy. Love that they always ensure children enjoy time outdoors. My child has grown in confidence and developed his social skills exponentially. Would recommend highly.

February 25, 2022 at 12:00 amAs new parents, it is very hard to trust any place where you could potentially leave your child for the day. After meeting the team and visiting the Little Agnes Nursery, we were quickly put at ease. A few months after, our daughter began to blossom. She is learning new things every day, she is happy to go to the nursery in the morning and she is in a good mood when she comes home. There is something about the team spirit of the caregivers that is very refreshing, and the overall welcoming atmosphere makes you feel as though you are part of a community. My wife and I chose this nursery, particularly for the benefits of its bilingual program, and as a French native speaker myself, this means a lot to us to see our daughter immersed in both English and French culture and activities; this is one of this nursery’s many qualities and we are happy to make a longer commute for such a great environment for our daughter.

Our son is very well looked after, he is excited to go there and he loves the amazing staff. He is learning so much and has developed a lot of new skills, French included. The staff and the owners are very kind and caring. Highly recommend this nursery!

There has been a recent shift in management’s involvement in recent months, and I believe this is having a positive influence in the quality of care and learning.

April 27, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have recently moved our child to Little Agnes Nursery and have been very happy with the decision.
The staff are caring and really know all the children and their interests, and there is a carefully planned out selection of activities across the week. For us the French language input is a plus but it wouldn’t matter if your little one did not have it already as a language at home. As a new nursery, there are still lower child numbers which means a very high teacher/child ratio, which is wonderful, but we look forward to welcoming more children in the coming months to increase our child’s opportunities to socialise.

Smooth settling in experience, great supportive and friendly staff, the children go out twice a day (to the farm/park), there are classes through the week such as theatre, ballet, dance and singing. The French teachers are excellent too.
We’ve seen new behaviours such as learning to say please, drinking out of a free flow cup and independent playing. Also, lots of painting and drawing going on. So good to see our little one learning new things!
In addition, great communication from management and on the app. Can not recommend enough!

August 3, 2022 at 12:00 amWe couldn’t be happier with our decision moving to this nursery overall. Our son has quickly made a personal connection with his key person and also is very fond of other teachers in his room. Although the nursery does not have an independent outdoor space, it’s close to Vauxhall Park where staff take children outside sometimes twice a day. We also feel very supported by nursery teachers in helping prepare 3+ toddlers to get ready for school. We experienced three nurseries in the past due to moving home and Little Agnes is definitely the best one for us.

The staff are so friendly and supportive and they provide her with so much care, attention and positivity. The key workers are very communicative and constantly show a great amount of interest in the development of our daughter.
I will recommend Little Agnes to anyone looking for a nursery in this area as it’s become like a second home to our daughter.

February 13, 2023 at 12:00 amFinding a nursery can be really daunting, you don’t believe anyone can look after your child as well as you can. My daughter has been at Little Agnes for just over three months now and absolutely loves it. It was hard at the beginning as we both missed each other but the staff are so warm, enthusiastic and affectionate that I think she began feeling like she was at home, only better because she gets to play with other children all day, she’s taken to the city farm park round the corner (a luxury in central London!) eats good wholesome food cooked by an Italian chef, speaks French with the ladies and engages in the most amazingly creative activities I could never invent myself! The management are great and keeps us parents informed, and includes us in lots of activities and celebrations. The nursery’s app is wonderful – it keeps me updated throughout the day to see what my little one is up to. Needless to say, it makes me smile whilst I’m at work knowing she is having so much fun.

March 22, 2023 at 12:00 amThe nursery feels like an extension of home and we are so happy to have chosen Little Agnes. Our little boy goes to nursery with a smile, and we immediately saw his development accelerate when he joined.
The reasons we chose Little Agnes:
1. Truly bilingual with native Francophone staff
2. Set up by parents with backgrounds in education (so, not part of a corporate chain)
3. Lovely premises – clean and new – with easy access to Vauxhall Park and its urban farm.
The additional reasons we now have to love it:
1. Not just bilingual! English and French are the focus, but the team also speaks Spanish, Polish and many other languages
2. The caring staff: It’s not easy to trust strangers with your baby but the team is so caring and all smiles
3. Activities: Science week, book day, cooking, playing with textures, digging for dinosaurs!
4. Communication: newsletters and an app (but without feeling like your child is being “tracked” or the team spends their time logging data)

April 9, 2023 at 12:00 amThe nursery is really good, they have two separate rooms to separate the kids depending the age. The teachers are lovely and will give you detailed info of the day. As well they have an app where you can see what your baby has done through the day.

May 19, 2023 at 12:00 amOur child had a fantastic time at Little Agnes Nursery where he was surrounded by brilliant and kind educators who took exceptional care of him and provided a first-class educational experience. From the outset, we had a very good impression about the operating standards of this nursery. The owners, the nursery manager, the baby room manager and our child’s key people were always helpful and attentive to our child. One hugely positive aspect was that we were provided in-person detailed feedback on a daily basis by our child’s key person. This allowed us to understand our child’s developmental trajectory at a crucial time. The bilingual French/English element was brilliant and enabled our son to be immersed in an environment we highly valued. We were very impressed by Little Agnes Nursery’s ability to deliver a high-calibre and enriching educational experience to our child. Therefore we have no hesitation in recommending Little Agnes to prospective parents.

July 27, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been at Little Agnes Nursery from nine months, and they have taken exceptional care of her. The baby room practitioners have been so helpful and have allowed our daughter the freedom and nurture to explore the world as she knows best (which is to be very independent!). They have allowed her to do so in a safe way, and we are so pleased they understand her.
The nursery has excellent facilities, is clean and tidy, and the range and number of activities they do each day are brilliant.

August 2, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son started at Little Agnes when he was 17 months old. It was incredibly important to us for him to have a good settling-in experience, we had originally been due to send him to a nursery nearer to us, but we really didn’t like their settling-in process and immediately decided to find somewhere else.
Little Agnes Nursery’s settling-in experience was far more thoughtful, child-centred and well-paced. It is still tough but he quickly established real trust and a bond with one of the staff, who is wonderful (all the team are).
We hear new words from nursery, English so far, we don’t speak French at home, so that will take time. His eating at Little Agnes is better than at home. Little Agnes has made him more confident and relaxed with other kids. We can see from the photos that he really enjoys the activities, especially the outdoor ones.
The team have been really good to us as a family. The nursery’s culture encourages sharing, respect and a good attitude to food! He is thriving there. Thank you all.

August 10, 2023 at 12:00 amWe love Little Agnes Nursery! The staff and management are wonderful. As a bilingual nursery, they weave French into everyday activities so it’s really easy for the children to learn the language.
The regular outings and range of classes provided by external professionals add an extra layer to the educational experience.
We are really impressed with how they have prepared our pre-schooler.
Their approach to education is very relaxed so the children don’t realise they are learning. Within six months of starting our son was able to hold a pen correctly, and trace letters/numbers on paper.
His education specialist is fantastic and makes learning so much fun for him every day.
We would highly recommend Little Agnes.

August 11, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter started at Little Agnes just after her first birthday and we immediately felt at ease. From the moment we first entered the nursery, we were deeply impressed. The facility offers a wonderful space to learn and grow. The staff are fantastic! It’s apparent that both staff and management truly care about the children: they are attentive to the needs of the children, are innovative in learning instruction and design, and are so very receptive to children and parents alike.
Although originally anxious about sending our daughter to nursery, Little Agnes made the transition so smooth. The staff allowed us the space to ease our daughter into full-time care (a settling-in period), and we experienced our daughter build trust in her key practitioner. Communication is excellent, we receive regular updates from staff and an online app.
Our daughter is thriving at Little Agnes, and we highly recommend the nursery to any parents.
