Co-op Childcare Islington

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was one until three. We have just left because we are moving further away. We loved this nursery. The staff were so friendly, very attentive to parents and we are really sad to leave. They have good healthy meals, staff were consistent and knew parents and children well, my daughter really enjoyed going there. The app was really helpful as well. We are really sad to leave and would recommend it to anyone.

I couldn’t be happier with Co-op Childcare Islington nursery. My son has been attending for almost a year and absolutely adores it. The staff are all so wonderful, friendly, approachable and full of energy. My little boy frequently talks about his teachers and it is a testament to how well they treat him and look after him every day. I am also constantly impressed by the range of activities they do and how keen they are for the children to participate in national moments such as World Book Day, Red Nose Day and Pancake Day. The level of communication I have with the nursery is also brilliant and I feel fully informed about my son’s days and his progress. Finally, I must applaud them for how well they have dealt with Covid-19, thanks to their efforts the nursery has only been impacted on a number of occasions and I have felt completely safe sending my son in since the pandemic started. I highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was one years old and has recently turned four. Both me and my daughter are happy with the service provided, the staff are great with both kids and parents. My daughter loves going there and always has good, fun stories to tell when she gets home. I love how the staff know all the children’s names, they’re also very friendly. I like that the nursery is organised and runs very smoothly. I also love how it is decorated, each room is colourful and looks exciting. Top marks for the nursery and I’d recommend it to other parents.

I am very happy with Co-op Childcare Islington nursery. My son has been attending for the last year and loves going each morning.
His speech, reading, spelling have all improved as well as his interaction with other children. He frequently says his teachers and peers names when talking about nursery at home. He loves the day’s activities, singing, reading, painting, water play etc. I also like that the nursery has a great outdoor area.
The level of communication I have received is great and I feel fully informed about his progress with 1 to 1 key person interviews, daily reports when picking him up and also frequent emails about nursery life in general.
I am happy with how all the staff have dealt with Covid-19, we were only impacted at the very start of the pandemic when they were required to close but I was extremely happy with the support and updated information the nursery gave. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our son loves his nursery days and his development is visible. The staff are great and the communication we receive is first class. We won’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends and family in future.

Our daughter has been at Co-op Childcare Islington for the last couple of years. The experience from the first day has been excellent. The staff are friendly, they listen to our concerns and answer questions promptly. More importantly, our daughter has really enjoyed her time there, the staff have really looked after her and it’s nice to see genuine affection towards her. She has had such a fun time and lots of great experiences; I’m sure she will be sad when she eventually leaves.

Thank you very much to all staff in the nursery, especially the early year’s teacher, office administrator and the manager. I feel very calm and confident to leave my son in the nursery since they have made me feel that my son is in very good hands. Regarding educational development, my son learns new things every day.

The staff are very professional, children are assessed and the app gives you updates during the day. They have a mindful approach to poorly kids too, not too strict not too loose. No half term holidays! My son loves it there.

Amazing nursery, the manager and all the staff are brilliant. My daughter loves going here which makes me feel at ease. I love the weekly updates on the app and how in depth they are. The only improvement for me is to update their lunches/meals quicker on the app as sometimes this doesn’t happen until the next day. However, I totally get how busy and hard working the staff are so not always possible. Thanks for everything!

We started sending our daughter to this nursery when she was 7 months old and we were really pleased with how the nursery helped her develop and get new skills. We constantly get updates on what our daughter is doing during the day and have regular reviews of the types of activities she is normally doing during the day. We appreciate all the effort the nursery is doing to keep her entertained and to help her achieve the next goals in her development. My daughter loves going to nursery and we are also happy with the Co-op Childcare Islington!
