The team is communicating greatly with parents through a daily updated application and through daily conversation for which they are consistently available.
We’d suggest it!

They are incredibly flexible and accommodating too, which we’ve found important as our lives change and kid’s needs evolve. Our journey with the childcare centre over the past three years has been very positive.

September 28, 2024 at 12:24 amOne childcare centre practioner is absolutely incredible, attentive and loving towards the kids also creating a great relationship with parents and I don’t have a bad word to say about her or the manager.
However, a few members of team are very aggressive and disrespectful to both kids and parents calling 2 year olds liars!
I have now removed my son from the childcare centre as standards have dropped massively in the last 6 months and unfortunately would no longer suggest after initially loving the childcare centre. Childcare centre used to be incredible but standards have dropped massively.

October 31, 2024 at 2:26 pmManagement are remarkable and highly communicative, our key person is fantastic, consistently providing updates on the settling-in period and daily status reports. I’m a big fan of the app which lets us know how our kid has slept, what he’s eaten (very cooperative with the egg allergy we have) and overall well-being. I would suggest this childcare centre to other parents. Our 1-year-old started with Three Little Birds/Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre full day, four days a week in May and we have been incredibly cheerful with our transition to childcare centre!

November 2, 2024 at 6:19 amThe childcare centre manager was very understanding and flexible with us, and we really felt like she had our daughter’s best interest in mind (rather than childcare centre “rules” like some other places we’ve heard of). Our daughter had a tough time transitioning, but the childcare centre team let us take it really slowly, and we’ve eventually gotten to a excellent place where we sense really confident that our daughter can stay for a full day and be cheerful. The childcare centre manager was incredibly patient during this whole time – never making me sense bad for calling to check in every day. We sense like we’ve really found a gem of a childcare centre and like this will be a long-lasting relationship (feels like a family vibe). We had our daughter start at Clerkenwell Mount in January when she was 13-months-old and were so nervous about the transition (she had only ever been home with me for the last year).

November 12, 2024 at 5:58 pmShe has settled in really well and loves going to childcare centre. All the team are lovely and all seem to genuinely care for her. It’s excellent that there is a chef on site to prepare fresh meals for the kids each day. They do a range of inventive activities with her every day allowing her to use her imagination and creativity. I am so glad that we chose Clerkenwell Mount as she is truly thriving. My daughter has been at Clerkenwell Mount for 5 months starting when she was 11 months old.

November 28, 2024 at 2:14 amMy daughter has settled well into the baby room and I adore seeing all the enjoyable and themed activities she gets up to each day, as well as the delicious food she eats via the app which was so reassuring for me as a parent returning to work. My daughter’s self‑assurance has also increased and I can see that she is discovering so many new things every day that she is there. The childcare centre has a lovely, welcoming setting and I highly suggest them. The team at Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre have been really nice and supportive, especially during our settling in period when Covid restrictions were still in place.

They offer natural, healthy snacks/lunch which she is currently getting used to slowly and we appreciate the team taking time for her to adjust. Very expert and sense our daughter is being taken care of properly.

December 9, 2024 at 1:34 pmAll of the team are incredibly compassionate and thoughtful, and our son is consistently excited to see them in the mornings. They also have done a excellent job at creating a community among the parents and with the kids, hosting parents in the childcare centre for events around Easter and Father’s Day. These have been a excellent way to bond with other parents and kids and share in our son’s journey. Our son has been attending Clerkenwell Mount Day for the last year and they have done an incredible job supporting him and his development.

The childcare centre is quite a joyful place and kids consistently seem to have so much enjoyable going in. Our baby has been settling in really well with help from his key person and other practitioners. He is consistently encouraged to explore new things (activities, food) and he seems very cheerful about it. The practitioners are very communicative and consistently spend time walking us through the day’s activities. I would suggest this childcare centre to other parents. We have had a great journey with Three Little Birds/Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre.

December 30, 2024 at 5:18 amI arranged to have a visit as a prospective parent, as my 26-month-old had become despondent and miserable at her old childcare centre.
On my visit, I spoke at length to the manager about my daughter, who listened intently and gave suggestions and assistance. I signed my daughter up on the day, and she started a week later.
My daughter has been attending for 2 weeks… and she is back to her excellent old self, dancing, laughing, and chatting away. The team have been so patient and understanding of her needs, I’m amazed to say that after 1 and a half weeks she is completely settled with new friends and is super eager to leave the house in the morning. I have my cheerful girl back! Thank you to all the team. I only have excellent things to say about the manager and carers at Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre.

January 29, 2025 at 5:29 amSo far, the journey has been outstanding. He loves going in the morning and comes home tired but cheerful in the evening. The baby room is cleaned every day, and there are lots of toys to playtime with. The team make special efforts to have additional activities throughout the day such as singing, drawing, playing with sand, colours, ice, etc. This really keeps our son stimulated and interested. I sense very comfortable leaving him there for a full day, as all members of team are calm and patient (and receive lots of smiles and hugs from the babies in return). I can even track his food intake and nap times on the app, where there are also pictures and comments on the day’s activities. Leaving the baby here has made going back to work a lot easier for me, as I’m relaxed knowing he loves the childcare centre. Our son started childcare centre here in July, aged 9 months.

They consistently have time to talk, answer my questions and are excellent at communicating daily updates, including through the app. I can sense that they really care about my son and that this is a loving, nurturing setting where team members are proactive in facilitating imaginative activities for the little people to participate in and food is made fresh on-site. My son is very cheerful here. The team at Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre are exceptional.

We are cheerful with the childcare centre and would suggest it. Our son very much enjoys going to this childcare centre, and he made strong bonds with both the other kids in the toddler room and his key person.

I sense reassured knowing our daughter is spending time here as I know she is genuinely cared for. We could not be happier with Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre.

June 17, 2025 at 11:14 pmCouldn’t suggest it more. I am very impressed. Our little girl has been there since she was 8-months-old. They do incredible activities every day. Even for a baby as young as my little one. They have an app for parents to use which gives updates every day with pictures (which makes a huge difference when you are at work missing your baby to see what they have been doing during the day). The menu cooked by the chef is incredibly varied.
The only downside is that the room allocated for nap time is only separated by a curtain and is right next to the playtime area. Instead of sleeping three and a half hours a day, my baby gets an hour or so… it’s a difficult one.
Other than that, I highly suggest the childcare centre. Unbelievable childcare centre!

June 23, 2025 at 8:40 pmMy two kids attend it, and they delight in it a lot. Few reasons:
1) Team is incredible! Unlike bigger local nurseries with a huge turnover of team, here, some people are for many years. They know all families and help to development kid’s development.
2) Management team is excellent. They understand the constraints of working parents and consistently respond quickly and willing to give options
3) It’s a small childcare centre, thus every kid is treated personally with a lot of emotional involvement from the childcare centre team. Once again, unlike bigger nurseries with huge classes, here, you’ll find a more personal approach with team members spending great time at the pick up to tell how kids’ day has been. Online diary is also detailed and well updated. I’m very pleased with Clerkenwell Mount Day Childcare centre.
