Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery

I’m very pleased with Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery. My two kids attend it, and they enjoy it a lot. Few reasons:
1) Team is amazing! Unlike bigger local nurseries with a huge turnover of staff, here, some people are for many years. They know all families and help to progress child’s development.
2) Management team is great. They understand the constraints of working parents and always respond quickly and willing to give options
3) It’s a small nursery, thus every child is treated personally with a lot of emotional involvement from the nursery team. Once again, unlike bigger nurseries with huge classes, here, you’ll find a more personal approach with team members spending good time at the pick up to tell how kids’ day has been. Online diary is also detailed and well updated.

Very professional and feel our daughter is being taken care of properly. She comes home explaining what she did with a smile and a confident look. They offer natural, healthy snacks/lunch which she is currently getting used to slowly and we appreciate the team taking time for her to adjust.

Quick response and update information on time. All staff are very friendly and look after my daughter. She is very happy. Unfortunately, I couldn’t view and enter the facility due to Covid, but all good.

Our experience with the nursery over the past three years has been very positive. They are very attuned to each child’s individual needs and give children lots of opportunities to express their creativity. They are incredibly flexible and accommodating too, which we’ve found important as our lives change and child’s needs evolve.

I only have great things to say about the manager and carers at Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery. I arranged to have a visit as a prospective parent, as my 26-month-old had become despondent and miserable at her old nursery.
On my visit, I spoke at length to the manager about my daughter, who listened intently and gave suggestions and support. I signed my daughter up on the day, and she started a week later.
My daughter has been attending for 2 weeks… and she is back to her great old self, dancing, laughing, and chatting away. The staff have been so patient and understanding of her needs, I’m amazed to say that after 1 and a half weeks she is completely settled with new friends and is super eager to leave the house in the morning. I have my happy girl back! Thank you to all the staff.

Our son started nursery here in July, aged 9 months. So far, the experience has been excellent. He loves going in the morning and comes home tired but happy in the evening. The baby room is cleaned every day, and there are lots of toys to play with. The staff make special efforts to have additional activities throughout the day such as singing, drawing, playing with sand, colours, ice, etc. This really keeps our son stimulated and interested. I feel very comfortable leaving him there for a full day, as all members of staff are calm and patient (and receive lots of smiles and hugs from the babies in return). I can even track his food intake and nap times on the app, where there are also pictures and comments on the day’s activities. Leaving the baby here has made going back to work a lot easier for me, as I’m relaxed knowing he loves the nursery.

Our 1-year-old started with Three Little Birds/Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery full day, four days a week in May and we have been incredibly happy with our transition to nursery! Management are fantastic and highly communicative, our key person is wonderful, always providing updates on the settling-in period and daily status reports. I’m a big fan of the app which lets us know how our child has slept, what he’s eaten (very cooperative with the egg allergy we have) and overall well-being. I would recommend this nursery to other parents.

Nursery used to be amazing but standards have dropped massively.
One nursery practioner is absolutely amazing, caring and loving towards the children also creating a good relationship with parents and I don’t have a bad word to say about her or the manager.
However, a few members of staff are very aggressive and disrespectful to both children and parents calling 2 year olds liars!
I have now removed my son from the nursery as standards have dropped massively in the last 6 months and unfortunately would no longer recommend after initially loving the nursery.

Our son has been attending Clerkenwell Mount Day for the last year and they have done an incredible job supporting him and his development. All of the staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, and our son is always excited to see them in the mornings. They also have done a great job at creating a community among the parents and with the children, hosting parents in the nursery for events around Easter and Father’s Day. These have been a great way to bond with other parents and children and share in our son’s experience.

My daughter has been at Clerkenwell Mount for 5 months starting when she was 11 months old. She has settled in really well and loves going to nursery. All the staff are lovely and all seem to genuinely care for her. It’s great that there is a chef on site to prepare fresh meals for the children each day. They do a range of inventive activities with her every day allowing her to use her imagination and creativity. I am so glad that we chose Clerkenwell Mount as she is truly thriving.
