The team form a close and dynamic team of attentive, welcoming, expert, energetic and creative educators who connect brilliantly with the kids as well as with the parents. The management team are responsive and communicative, often present to meet and assistance families, and have consistently been cheerful to help with any requests or questions. There is a great level of feedback provided by the team on the kids’s daily activities as well as their overall development. Our girls’ French language development was remarkable and we loved the enjoyable ways the team ensure French traditions are celebrated. We also adore the garden space and the creative way it is used for discovering and enjoyable. We are very pleased we chose Les Petites Etoiles! Our three bilingual daughters went to Les Petites Etoiles from bunnies room right through to lions and giraffes, before going off to reception, and we can honestly say they have all been extremely cheerful throughout their time at the childcare centre.

At home, our two spoken languages are French and English, therefore, having the option of sending our daughter to a bilingual childcare centre was ideal. Les Petites Etoiles, for us, didn’t just offer a bilingual setting but also a highly nurturing setting with very expert and attentive team and well organised activities. Our daughter has developed so beautifully during her time there, becoming more independent, creative and speaking equally well in English and French. She formed a special bond with all her educators who consistently kept us updated on her development via an app and reports. Management was also consistently so responsive and supportive with any queries we had. Two things we also loved about the childcare centre were the three-course meals they received, which is traditionally French, and the weekly book library. Our daughter attended Les Petites Etoiles for 2 years from the age of 15 months.

There are so many things that I have loved and appreciated about the way they do things, the food is unbelievable (four-course lunches!!), the spaces are light and full of pictures, the structure of the day is consistently well thought out. However the team have been the best part of the whole journey. The boys have adored their key people, and both having the same person in their final years was just exceptional, she has set them up beautifully to start school and I cannot thank her and the team enough. Both my boys have attended Les Petites Etoiles in Tufnell Park at different times over the past 7 years, leaving Les Petites Etoiles for the last time this summer felt like saying goodbye to family.

We are both English speakers and no French is spoken at home. Our daughter has just left Les Petites Etoiles and started at an independent day school for girls in Highgate. We could not have been luckier getting our daughter a place at Les Petites Etoiles. Not only is her French now at a very high standard but she forged friendships with team and other kids at Les Petites Etoiles which will last a lifetime. The team are not only highly motivated and ambitious for the kids they care for but are able to foster a uniquely close and loving atmosphere. I was in tears when we said goodbye to our daughter’s educators at Les Petites Etoiles. I am certain she will never forget them. Our daughter started at Les Petites Etoiles just before her first birthday.

The stuff is truly attentive, engaged and expert. There is plenty of thoughtfully prepared interesting activities that encourage early discovering. And even more importantly, we felt that our boys have got outstanding assistance and guidance to help their emotional development and first social skills. There is a great amount of feedback to parents, including regular reports with pictures, and prompt responses to any questions or requests. Finally, freshly prepared meals were simply outstanding in quality and diversity. We’ll never forget our fantastic time at Les Petites Etoiles and can’t suggest them highly enough! Both our sons went to Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park, and we have consistently been so cheerful with this childcare centre.

The educators and the methodology of teaching at Les Petites Etoiles have given our daughter the best setting and guidance to become a cheerful, confident, active and fearless kid. The fantastic thing is that all of her friends at Les Petites Etoiles are the same and this is the result of the great education at Les Petites Etoiles.

This is an incredible place with an incredibly expert and welcoming team. The curriculum is excellent and bilingual. Educators do an incredible job and make sure they respect your kid’s own discovering pace. Updates with the parent is also a excellent plus, regular feedbacks and reports. You really sense being part of a family. I really suggest this place. Thanks again to all of you. My daughter spent three remarkable years there. The setting is calm, it’s inspiring kids to discover more of the world in their own time. The focus is not just on the traditional numeracy/literacy skills, but on ensuring kids are well-rounded individuals on social and emotional levels too. The team supports the kids’s own development, not forcing activities on them, going with the kid’s lead and helping them to make the most of their days. I could not be more thankful to the fantastic team looking after my daughter. I would highly suggest to everyone. Best childcare centre in Islington without a doubt!

At first, she was expressing herself mainly in French, which is her mother tongue, but she became equally cheerful to communicate in both languages.
She has become deeply attached to her educators and made very great friends. She talks about them very frequently at home, even after leaving the childcare centre (due to age limit – we would have let her stay another year!).
Our first observation is that she blossomed deeply at “Petites étoiles”: she was delighted to go there every morning and brought back a thousand anecdotes as much related to the emotional as to the discovering every evening.

She told us about every dish of every day in the canteen with the same enthusiasm (even more so when she was picking the herbs herself in the courtyard of the childcare centre (basil, mint etc). The food looks outstanding and the menu posted each week on the school door is undeniably pleasing. Our daughter spent two years at “Les petites étoiles”, in the Penguin class and then in the Lion class (from 2 to 4 years).

Super well-organized and expert. They cared for our son and provided all the extra assistance he needed to socialize or develop his language. We felt supported and our son was consistently cared for and provided all the attention. We highly suggest it. It was fantastic to see our son flourish there. Thank you!
