Buckingham First Nursery

I have a child who has been with Buckingham First a few weeks upon opening and also have my 1 year old who is about to start their Buckingham first journey in Baby Birch (she is in the settling in phase). The staff there are amazing and management are very approachable and friendly. Communication with parents is outstanding and can trust that my children are in safe hands. The facilities are well maintained and resources enrich the development of children at the centre. Food served there is gobbled up by little one and even asks for seconds. It’s weird how she does not eat the same food when I cook it at home! The nursery also provide parent classes on various topics such as E-safety and looking after your children’s teeth.

The nursery leaders are wonderful along with the practitioners which round off what is a second home to my kids.

We moved our son to Buckingham First Nursery from another nursery on his 2nd birthday where he joined Little Elms and has now transitioned to Rising Pines. Our younger son started in Baby Birch in December. It was the best decision we have made. Every little detail has been thought about both in the design of the building and different rooms to the day-to-day routine and extra activities. Our son especially enjoys the regular sports classes and the home-cooked food goes down a treat. The staff are incredibly kind and caring and the management see the children and parents as an extension of their family. Our boys both thoroughly enjoy attending each day and our 3-year-old, in particular, has come on leaps and bounds in the past 18 months. Thanks to everyone at Buckingham First.

Buckingham First Nursery is like a big warm hug for both the children and their families! I cannot recommend this nursery enough. All the staff are fantastic with the children, I have seen both my children learn and grow so much since they have been here. Every day they come home with exciting tales of what they’ve been up to. Not only have the staff been great with the children, but they’ve also warmly welcomed us as parents from the very first day, keeping us up to date on all aspects of nursery life. We very much feel a part of the Buckingham First family and are so glad we picked this nursery for our children.

Our daughter has been with this nursery from the age of 1 year, so she has been in Baby Birch, Little Elms and is now in Rising Pines.
We are very happy with the personalised care and attention that she has had from all the staff at Buckingham First. The nursery has always felt warm, friendly and welcoming. The staff are very good at making the little children feel comfortable and are always encouraging their development. I have always found their advice on her development (eg toilet training, sleep routine during the day etc) very helpful. Our daughter talks a lot about her teachers and friends at nursery and all the things she enjoys. They have put in extra measures in line with government guidelines for COVID. Even though parents don’t go into the building for drop-offs and pick-ups, we still have the opportunity to speak to her teachers and discuss any concerns. I would highly recommend Buckingham First for anyone deciding on where to send their little one.

Buckingham First Nursery has been an amazing nursery for our daughter. She started when she was eleven months and as first-time parents, we are grateful for all the love and care Buckingham First Nursery has given our daughter and us which has made our first transition away from our daughter so reassuring. She really enjoyed her time there and really bonded well with all the staff. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. It is remarkable how much Buckingham First Nursery has taught our daughter over the past year. We are really sad to leave Buckingham First Nursery due to a house move otherwise this would have been a perfect nursery for her to continue attending. We will definitely miss everyone at Buckingham First Nursery and will be back to visit whenever we’re in the area!

This is a fantastic nursery! My daughter graduated after one year in the Rising Pines room and we want to say a big thank you to all the wonderful staff for their work, love and dedication.

I had two children attend for 18 months. We only left because we moved out of the area. The nursery was clean and the staff were great with all the Covid restrictions. We lived with someone vulnerable and so really appreciated how diligent they were. We felt very safe sending our children there.
My youngest joined at just 6 months old and really benefited from a big and bright room full of sensory things. He left a very confident little boy. My eldest child really enjoyed all the activities in his room and especially enjoyed when the nursery organised special events like someone coming in with different small animals. The nursery helped with our potty training and with their help once we started it was finished within a couple of weeks.

If I could give this nursery 10 stars, I would! Both of my girls attended from baby birch to rising pines. When we were looking at nurseries over five years ago, we just knew that this was the one. It became a second home for our girls and they absolutely loved it. The girls learnt so much and I am thankful for the staff for that. You can really see the love and care that goes into the way they teach and care for the children. The communication with parents is excellent too. My girls also loved the food here, so much so that they would have seconds. The management are so lovely, you could not find more wholesome people. We love this place so much, that our third child will be starting here soon.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. Our whole experience was excellent. The staff are wonderful, and really made my son, who was anxious about being away from me, quickly feel at home. His confidence grew and he developed and learnt so much. The staff work very hard to create a caring and nurturing environment. They put so much attention to detail in every activity and everything was well thought out and planned. They were also very good at communicating, giving regular updates on how my child was getting on. The end-of-day handovers were also very detailed, which I really appreciated. My son was definitely ready for school, thanks to their support. He really enjoyed his time there. I can’t thank them enough!

Our son has been with Buckingham First nursery for 2 years starting at Baby Birch and is soon moving into Rising Pines from Little Elms. I cannot rate this nursery highly enough, from before he started they were really great at communicating and accommodating our requests. Once he started as a “pandemic” baby, they were amazing at reassuring us of the care they were taking during a stressful time.
He has loved it from day one and is always more than happy to head into nursery. We’ve seen him grow in his confidence, communication and other areas over these two years and a massive part of that is the level of care and engagement he receives at Buckingham First.
His carers are always very involved and compassionate and make an effort with each child individually which is wonderful to see. Their communication is always thorough and they work with us to encourage positive behaviour and handle anything negative without stressing him or us out.
Can’t recommend them enough!
