Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool

My child is currently in the preschool room and enjoys coming into nursery in the mornings.
The staff in the preschool room are lovely and attentive towards the children and activities are well planned and based on the children’s interests.
The new management team are very friendly and always on hand to help where needed.
The nursery has a large outdoor space for the children to play and explore.

On the whole, we’ve had a mainly positive experience with our son at the nursery over the past 18 months. The staff are warm and nurturing but the turnover is quite high which is a shame and we never quite know who is in charge as the office/management staff also changes a lot. The care of the children is great overall, but the communication, particularly surrounding closures due to potentially positive staff Covid cases, has been patchy and often quite delayed. This nursery has been closed more than any other the past few months and the tests came back negative so it has been unnecessary stress and disruption for the children and parents.

Our son and then our daughter both attended the nursery and preschool from the age of 12 months to shortly before starting school and we would thoroughly recommend it. The room staff are wonderful, particularly in preschool, and our children thrived in their care. The setting is really convenient and the lovely garden and huge sandpit are such a bonus. I would, however, echo another reviewer’s comment about the inconsistency in staffing maternity leave, leavers and management, particularly in 2020. The interim/acting managers did a difficult job in a challenging situation but I wonder if they received the support they needed from more senior management. The new managers had only been in post for a few months before we left but things seemed to have been improving on that front.

We have attended our nursery for about 15 months and cannot thank the management and staff for their hard work, dedication to our child and total professionalism at all times. We had a challenging few months with a medical condition but our nursery embraced it with amazing energy and care. We are eternally grateful to them for their active part in our child’s return to full health. 10/10. You cannot improve on perfection.

Very impressed with how the staff has welcomed my son who is just 14 months old and how they settled him in. My son comes home singing songs. A very well done to this group of staff. I will definitely recommend Bright Horizons Day Nursery and Pre School, Crouch End.

My daughter has been attending preschool for the last nine months. She has speech and language issues, due to one-sided profound deafness since birth. During this time, the management and the staff have been incredibly helpful and supportive in assisting her learning and accommodating her needs. They have shown love and understanding to my daughter and she loves the nursery. The staff have also facilitated her needs further, by requesting special educational needs and disability teachers, to come on-site to help their understanding of how to provide further support for my daughter.

I am currently attending Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool with my second child. We were very happy with the care of our first boy so we decided to return. It’s a lovely nursery with great outdoor space. The staff is friendly and caring, they plan and offer a range of activities for the children every day. The management team is supportive and happy to help when needed. We are so pleased with the care that we decided to increase the sessions.

Our daughter attended this nursery and we couldn’t have been happier during her time there. The staff were great and very knowledgeable. The facilities are really clean, spacious and professional.
We were so pleased to see our daughter getting involved in a wide range of activities and she would come home and sing and say new words all the time! Lastly, the food served to the children is delicious and there’s a nice variety of healthy meals, which our daughter loved. The chef is very good and creative. I would highly recommend it.

Sadly we have to leave the nursery but I would like to say our son and we, as his parents, have been really happy with the nursery. The management is really good and they are always available. The staff are really friendly and we feel they really cared for our son. Every day they give us information about how our son spends the day and it is really reassuring. When we pick him we can go inside and we can see how happy he is playing around. Also, every day he is looking forward to going to nursery, he even knocks on the door impatiently to go inside. That makes me really happy to see.
They organise a lot of activities for them and we enjoy seeing the photos in the application. I feel he is learning while he is having a lot of fun; they stimulate them all the time.
There is also a garden so the kids love being outside!

We loved Bright Horizons! My son joined from when he was 1 year old and he is 2 years old at the moment. They were very understanding and helpful while I was trying to potty train him at 18 months old. Lovely activities and the app was kept up to date. Beautiful garden too. Love it!
