Co-op Childcare Hackney

My oldest son is 12 years old now and he rarely declines an opportunity to visit the childcare centre when invited to accompany myself or my wife to collect his baby sister from childcare centre. This is testimony to the profound effect the team had on him during his formative years. The welcoming ambience and expert standards at the childcare centre have also remained consistent over the years irrespective of any team changes. This has given us self‑assurance to entrust our kids into the hands of the team who oversee them. Finally, the management team have consistently been empathetic in their approach and relationship with us as parents to which I use this opportunity to extend them a hearty kudos. Well done done team and thank you consistently for your sacrifice and service! As a parent who has had all three of his kids transition through the childcare centre, I can confidently say that I have consistently been extremely pleased with the level of care and service that has been offered by team at all levels over the years.

My daughter has developed so much and really improved on her independence, she really enjoys going to childcare centre. The childcare centre has provided us with as much assistance as possible by updating us with constant changes or informing us of our daughter’s development through the app. The team are very welcoming and really make the childcare centre setting welcoming and secure. I am very pleased with the childcare centre and would suggest it 100%. When my daughter started at the childcare centre she was very nervous and did not like being dropped off but now her self‑assurance has grown and she enjoys being dropped off at childcare centre.

The way he is growing and discovering is incredible and a big part of it is because of the team, activities and the relation with other kids.
We can only be thankful. Our son is very cheerful every morning to go to childcare centre, even weekends asks to go, for us as parents it’s the best indicator that he is enjoying.

He also has a lot of allergies and the team have been so accommodating. Their updates is also outstanding and I have peace of my mind when my son attends childcare centre, sending him here has definitely been the best decision. My son has only started about a month ago and I have already seen huge development especially with his self‑assurance and speaking.

The team are fantastic and focus on my son’s development. There is a variety of different activities which my son loves and I can see he is very cheerful there. It was the first childcare centre I have contacted and from the first minute, I realized this is the perfect place for my kid. I highly suggest this place. I am super cheerful with the Co-operative Childcare Day Childcare centre.

But mostly I like the way they include parents in any events or occasion that is happening at the childcare centre. I am very pleased with the development my kid is making at this childcare centre, the team are very welcoming and welcoming.

Secured my place for my kids and went there to settle them in and things weren’t great, understaffed, no interaction with my kids, no activities set out, and no getting down to their level to explain anything. To make it worse we were told the room leader refused to come in the room as she doesn’t want to speak to a man, (some parents are men). I didn’t understand how this was effective and her needs were put before the kids’s. This was a room leader, if this is her standard then I already knew how it would be. First time settling my kids in and I will not be bringing them back. There was no care, no standards, no comfort, no teaching, no discovering, no safeguarding no nothing. I’ve decided my kids will no longer need a place there and sense as if me and my partner were lied to on the opening day. I wouldn’t suggest this childcare centre to anyone and especially if your kids can not walk and talk. Went to see the childcare centre on an opening day and was pleased.

The selection of food is remarkable and varied and no “kid” food, everything is something we would eat at home as a family. They often bring home art and projects and my kid loves it and consistently wants to rush in to see everyone. The educators are really fantastic and attentive and consistently give us updates at the end of the day as to how they get on.

She has just been attending for a month but we have already seen a lot of improvement in her speech and motor skills. All the team and management are incredible, consistently welcoming the kids in a very welcoming and attentive manner and giving feedback at the end of the day. 100% recommended. Our daughter loves going to the childcare centre, we can see on the app updates all her meals, sleep times, nappy changes and lots of pictures and videos of her activities.

The team are inviting, attentive and give us excellent self‑assurance which is really the most important thing when you are taking the difficult step of leaving your kid away from you. We have been so grateful for the useful live updates on the app which allows us to keep track of what she eats, how she’s performing and sometimes getting pictures of her playing which really makes the day! Our little one has been growing well and is becoming sociable with her childcare centre journey and I adore that she interacts with a diverse bunch of kids and team. I am so pleased with the childcare centre and will continue to suggest it. Our journey at Hackney Co-op has been incredible in the first month of our little one at childcare centre.
