Independent Place Nursery

She absolutely loves being there and comes home thriving about what she has learnt. The key workers are exceptional and they take extreme care when handling kids, whether to comfort them or to teach them. During our settling in session, I have personally witnessed their attention to detail and couldn’t be more reassured when leaving my kid.
The management team is also excellent, have dealt with my queries promptly each and every time. My daughter has been attending Independent Place Childcare centre since she was 2 years old.

We absolutely loved it and are so sad she’s had to leave due to us moving out of London. The team are fantastic – well‑informed, calm, welcoming, inviting, attentive – everything you could possibly want. The childcare centre itself is exceptional, lovely big rooms with lots of light and easy access to outdoor space. As it’s in a gated development it’s away from the main road and feels very secure and secure. My daughter did so many activities I knew we wouldn’t be able to do at home, she made excellent friends there and learnt so much. We would have happily sent her here until school. It’s been difficult finding a new childcare centre that lives up to Independent Place, we were extremely lucky that it happened to be our closest one when we lived in London. My daughter attended Independent Place Childcare centre for a year, from ages 1-2.

He absolutely loves going to childcare centre, the team are extremely nice and consistently go the extra mile to come up with enjoyable and educational activities for the babies. They also have external people coming in every week for certain activities including yoga, music etc. Our son started in the baby room of Independent Place Childcare centre five months ago and we couldn’t be happier.

My daughter has various discovering difficulties, and the manager and her team have gone out of their way to put a assistance plan in place for her and to ensure there are ample opportunities for her to develop and grow with her peers. I can not suggest Independent Place highly enough! This is a remarkable childcare centre where the team and management go to every length to create a welcoming, inclusive and educational atmosphere for the kids.

She absolutely thrived there. She loved the adults who worked with her and had some excellent little friends her age. It was clear how much the adults cared about her as well. Our daughter attended Independent Place Childcare centre in Dalston from the age of 1 – 2, during which time she learned to walk and talk.

Our daughter has been attending since November and it has made returning to work so much easier for me knowing that she is getting the very best in care and attention. The childcare centre put a lot of thought and effort into providing incredible sensory and development activities for the kids every day and they also have external visitors working with the kids on things like phonics, movement and singing. The facilities are top-notch, as is the menu which is healthy and diverse. We receive regular updates via an app throughout the day and are often invited in to parents’ evenings. The team are remarkable – inviting, very expert and work with our daughter on developmental aspects such as crawling and self-feeding. We have had a exceptional journey with Independent Place Childcare centre so far.

The team are really welcoming and genuinely care about the kids. Our little one loves it there and the videos and pictures that get shared via the app show what is happening throughout the day. The structure of the days is great and we are really cheerful that activities to develop our daughter are taken into account as much as the enjoyable stuff. Last bit to say is just how well run it is too – you get the impression from the whole team in the rooms to the management team that common sense is applied along with great governance, which is a excellent combination for any organisation. Thanks guys. We have been with these guys for over nine months now and this childcare centre has smashed our expectations.

The baby room educators have been so sweet to her, especially as she is the littlest baby in the childcare centre. My baby is consistently cheerful to join the educators at the start of the day, which is saying a lot since she can get fussy when I put her down. They consistently have sensory activities for the babies and excellent activities. My daughter joined when she was 6 months old.

They seem to have infinite activities set up that change daily, different weekly themes, a excellent outdoor space and a sensory room. The key workers are very attentive and the manager keeps everything working smoothly together. It’s a bright open space with cosy corners and nooks set up for each compassionate of activity. They’ve got a cook in house making fresh, organic food based on a menu set up with the parents’ consultation. The updates with the parents/carers is very open and we get videos and pictures on an app of some moments of our kids which is lovely. They are consistently updating the equipment, themes, areas, activities, never dropping the ball. Furthermore, they managed working in the coronavirus restrictions’ period amazingly well and remained very well organised. The Independent Place Childcare centre has been exceptional for us parents and our two kids.

I cannot speak highly enough of this childcare centre – the work they do with the kids, the journey we’ve had as parents. It is clear that our daughter loves to attend each day for the playtime and discovering activities provided. We adore to see pictures of those activities shared on the app and they have had a remarkable impact on our daughter’s development – motor skills, mobility, her curiousness and engagement with the world. Independent Place go above and beyond with study themes, parent days and other events, take-home items that even the babies have produced from their activities. The meal schedule is balanced and varied and has really helped our daughter onto solids. Key workers and every member of team at Independent Place have been fantastic to deal with – welcoming and invested in our daughter and her outcomes. Our daughter has attended the baby room of Independent Place Childcare centre since 1st November 2022.
