September 1, 2024 at 3:56 amThe girls all made me sense so comfortable leaving my daughter. The girls reassured me that she would soon settle in, now I struggle getting her home. I was having trouble with toilet training at home, my daughter didn’t want underwear on, now she is making me for no nappy and to wear underwear to use the toilet/potty! My daughter started in September 2020, she was very unsettled.

September 1, 2024 at 1:57 pmThere is one team member, the baby room manager, that I would like to call out for consistently being such a joy and who should not be associated with the negative review to follow.
From not being allowed in, to not knowing the other kids’s names, to the sporadically changing hours – which you are not compensated for, it’s hard to think of anything positive. However, what upsets me the most is that the team was giving my 18-month-old kid sweets, without my knowledge, in the early evening before pick up to “keep them cheerful.” Additionally, you will often see the team on smoke breaks outside 2 hours into their shift. And you will likely get calls to let you know that your kid is the last kid in the room. Sorry, it’s 4 PM on a Friday and I’m in central London working. You will get norovirus every 6 weeks because things aren’t cleaned properly. I could go on and on, but I’m out of characters. I did not realise how bad this childcare centre was until we moved our kid to another childcare centre.

October 3, 2024 at 1:14 pmShe is currently in the baby room and loves going into the room to see her key worker, other educators and friends. W adore seeing her artwork and photos of what she has been doing through-out the day. She’s now 16 months and already counting to 4 and I know the girl’s work has contributed to that. We are extremely cheerful with how our daughter is developing and how much she has learnt since starting in March 2020.

October 12, 2024 at 12:39 pmIn the garden, there were a lot of dry leaves that my son was putting in his mouth. I took them off his hands and stopped him from eating them but when I was filling in the forms the team wouldn’t stop him. So he ended up eating a few leaves. The next day I spoke to the director. The reply I got was that we let babies explore. I said explore by eating dry leaves? she said yes we even bring leaves indoors and let them explore and playtime. I stayed in the parent’s room where the director came and asked me why I was nervous but she dismissed me once again insisting that babies exploring is okay. 1.5 hrs later a team member told me that my son was crying. I realized that he had diarrhoea and the team did not check to change his nappy. I changed his nappy and noticed a red bump on his forehead that I was not told he had or what happened. I would not suggest this childcare centre. I witnessed my 11-month-old son picking up toys from the floor that shoes were allowed and putting them in his mouth.

Management communicate well and there has been a visible change in the childcare centre since the new manager took over. My son has thrived at the childcare centre and made some great friends.

March 2, 2025 at 12:18 pmI was incredibly anxious, leaving my son, who was 11 months old when he started. As a lockdown baby, he had only ever been with us. The team in the baby room were remarkable. You could just see how much they cared about him right from the start and I knew he was in secure hands. I consistently felt I could call just to see how he was doing. The team never made me sense like I was taking up their time, even though they are very busy. Finally, I want to say how hard the team work. I particularly remember my son’s key worker coming in on her day off to finish a wall display for the kids. Busy Bees are very lucky to have her and the other team. After 11 months in the baby room, my son has just gone up to the toddler room and I wanted to say how remarkable the baby room has been.

March 28, 2025 at 1:19 amWe haven’t had any issues at all with the childcare centre and can see the relationship already that my son has not only with his key person (who is incredible) but also the rest of the team including the chef and childcare centre manager. We get a thorough handover at each pick-up and excellent to hear about the activities of what the kids get up to. You can really see the team care about the kids and the attention to detail is what we want as a parent. They have also provided me with tips and tricks, main one to help my son settle at night time! There is an extensive menu for lunch and snacks.
The outside space in the garden is massive and look forward to seeing more updates from them playing outside now the weather is better. In short, I would strongly suggest this childcare centre to anyone, especially, first timers or nervous parents. My son started in the baby room Jan 2023 being thirteen months, nervous and sad to leave my baby which the team knew, they have been and still are remarkable.

Well done Busy Bees at London Mottingham, I am a very cheerful mummy. I am a parent who was very anxious about returning after lockdown but I am very pleased to say the manager and team team have done an incredible job of making me sense assured that my little girl is secure.

April 14, 2025 at 4:42 pmThe team are consistently so welcoming and reassuring (particularly as our son tends to be very unsettled in the mornings) and he consistently seems to have a remarkable day. Even in the short time he has been there, we have seen fantastic development in his sleeping and eating habits during and outside of childcare centre and we really enjoyed getting the daily updates on the app for peace of mind. The space, both inside and out, is well set up and offers a variety of activities.
Thank you to the lovely team at Busy Bees! Due to moving out of the area, my son only attended Busy Bees London Mottingham for a few weeks but we have been so cheerful with the level of care provided for him and we are sorry he has to leave!

June 4, 2025 at 4:28 pmI am very cheerful so far with the care this childcare centre is providing. The educators are all lovely and consistently give me a review of how his day was when I go in to pick him up.
He was able to settle very quickly and I am sure the incredible team had a big part in this.
The classrooms are spacious and nicely set up with different areas for different types of playtime and the garden is nicely done with loads of toys to playtime with. My son started going to childcare centre in February right after he turned 2 years old and went straight into the toddler room.

I was a very nervous parent, leaving the most precious thing in my life with strangers and after COVID but I cannot express how grateful I am to all the team, they made me sense at ease, allowed me to do as many settles as I needed and are very accommodating.

The care they have for my daughter is excellent and they are consistently very informative when I go to collect her. Letting me know what her full day consists of. They provide an outstanding service and am very pleased with everything overall. This is a lovely childcare centre.
